Mykonos Shore Excursion with Pickup from Cruise Ship Terminal

Must see with the best guide and driver!

We were picked up at our cruise ship by Christina, an American living in Mykonos, and she was incredibly informative, helpful (taking photos of most of us on the bus with our phones), and an all around joy! Our bus driver (name started with an I) was incredible too navigating treacherous roads with ease so we felt very safe. Thanks for an amazing Mykonos experience showing us everything we wanted to see!

Love Mykonos Trip

I enjoyed the entire tour. Andrea is an excellent tour guide. She is warm, friendly, and very funny. Her knowledge of the island showed. Visiting the monastery in the Village was special to me. I lit a candle for all my loved ones that have gone on.

Good tour

This was a good overview of Mykonos, with a bus tour of the island (lighthouse, Ano Mera town and beach) and a walking tour of the town. Andrea, the tour guide, was really knowledgeable and mixed in her 30 years of experiences living in Mykonos with historical and other information about the island.

Totally lost

Our boat didn't arrive this port , but still charge. No refund. Prefer not to book early for future excursion...

Mykonos

The guide was very knowledgeable and nice, very nice tour. For the price it was worthy. Book with Viator most of the guide are knowledgeable.

Great tour, exciting, fun and comprehensive.

The historical information provided on the bud ride. I learned a lot and pointing out historical buildings allowed for great photo opportunities. The tour guides were available, helpful, knowledgeable, and on point.

Basic

Very basic island tour. Bus was nice and air conditioned. But there just isn't a lot to see on the island outside of the tourist areas. Unfortunately, it wasn't worth the $90 USD that my friend and I paid.

Andrea was awesome and gave us a lot of great information. Not 5 stars because it was too much fast walking for older people in Greece’s heat.

Great experience

Lovely island, if a bit expensive. The tour guide was very, very good, as was the driver who had to negotiate some tricky roads. Cannot fault the tour company at all. Well worth the money, as you get a good insight into the history of the island

Average Mykonos tour

Andrea did a phenomenal job and the drive was safe and smooth. The stops were fine. Would of like to have had a beach club stop for about twenty minutes to have a feel for the Mykonos club life.

Our guide was very informative and we really thought the trip around. Mykonos was very interesting. Leaving us in city center of old town a terrific tour.

Andrea was a great tour guide. She was very engaging. We saw many sites on the island and learned a lot of history.

Good tour, but the heat was a problem

The tour was interesting and well conducted. However, it was an extremely hot day and the walk from the port to view the windmills in the extreme heat, was not worth it.

Rushed

It was alright. Felt rushed in the different stops. We decided to go on our own when we had the chance in the old port so we could enjoy the sites.

Tour guide was from Brooklyn, New York, who now lives on Mykonos with her husband. Very easy to understand. She had many interesting stories about various places we visited. Good photo op stops. Unfortunately, she did not take us back to the cruise terminal, as was advertised, and we had to find a bus shuttle back.

Much history to learn in Mykonos, sucb an interesting island!

We booked a local tour with local guide Lucy who was excellent. We got to learn about the local culture past & present, the Greek mythology there and the joys & difficulties of living there. Saw 3/4 of the island in a few hours. Very interesting walking tour through the old town. Great history there!

From lighthouse to beach and everything in between.

Tour bus driver skills are amazing! The roads are very narrow but he was an expert. Guide was exceptional. Her knowledge of Mykonos was awesome. She kept it following & made it interesting. Refreshing stop at the beach ♥️

Book it!

Our tour was amazing! Great service, air conditioned bus, knowledgeable tour guide, and espectacular landmarks visited. We got to see almost the entire island, walk around town and have lunch on our own. My husband and I loved it!

Great tour

Andria was a fantastic guide. She was very informative and knew the group members by name. When in town on the walking tour going to see Little Venice and the windmills she would tell us the tour agenda and directions to her next stop. She was like a mother duck keeping track of her ducklings.

Lovely Mykonos

Very knowledgeable guide. We had a lot of fun. We explore the island from side to side and we received lots of good information. We ended our tour at the old port and we had the opportunity to enjoy the old port beach. It was memorable

Mykonos Fun Tour

The tour guide was very informative and took care of our needs. Demi also gave us a little language lesson of English words that were a derivative of the Greek language. It was fun! Showed us beautiful spots!

Great guide, great tour, great value!

My family and I traveled with another party of friends to Mykonos but weren't paired together. The guides easily re-arranged the groups so that we could be together and explained how to do that within the app for future reference. Great tips. The tour was fantastic, made even more enjoyable by the passion our guide had for the island she called home. We all appreciated the amount of time she left us with at the end of the tour to dine in and explore Old Mykonos before we had to return to our ship. Definitely a highlight of our vacation

Mykonos with insights from a local resident

Our tour guide was Andrea. She is a local with extensive knowledge of the city. She showed us the highlights and was able to give us the additional insight only a long time local resident could. She took us through some back alleys so we got to see the real Mykonos.

Magical Mykonos

Walking in Little Venice. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor 😃👍🏻. She really was so sweet and down to earth.

Excellent experience

Mykonos was great as was the guide. She loved her island and was so excited to show us so many beautiful parts. It was a great tour. We saw a lot in an abbreviated amount of time. Would definitely recommend.

Great walking tour of the city

This was a good way to see Mykonos. We walked through the town to see the sights. I recommend you stay with the guide alll the way to end as we got to see more. She gave us good recommendations for food and lots of information.

Best Tour and Tour Guide Ever

From beginning to end, this tour was one of the best we have ever done. The tour guide is always the deciding factor on whether a tour is great or mediocre. We had the best! Andrea was so much fun, so knowledgeable and overall one of the best tour guides that we have ever had. Highly recommend! Mykonos is beautiful and loved seeing behind the scenes with a local.

Mykonos cruise excursion

Guide was good and took good care of us. Mykonos was interesting to see but just OK in my opinion for touring. More a vacation spot and party place than an island with fascinating sites to see. Views from high points were quite beautiful.

Great orientation of the island

The bus was there promptly to pick us up. Her guy spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable of the area. Bus driver had awesome driving skills and was able to maneuver us in places I didn’t think we’d be able to get to. The lighthouse was interesting and provided excellent views of the surrounding islands. Highly recommend the old bakery, the Baklava was some of the best I’ve ever had.

Enjoyable & interesting Tour

Very beautiful town with interesting spots & streets. We enjoyed the walk in the town. Like the Windmill, Little Venice & Church of Paraportiani. Did not join the bus tour to the country side due to personal reasons. Tour guide Christina was efficient & professional. had a wonderful mean in the town.

Excellent day in Mykonos

Started off a little difficult due to ship coming in at a different port and not being able to find the tour guide. We went with another tour group who brought us to the correct guide. Once with correct guide the excursion was wonderful.

Concise and convenient

The guide was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. She was clear about time limits at stops and what was coming up. On the walking part of the tour, ;she was clear about the upcoming sights which allowed people to drop from the tour if they wanted to spend more time at a particular location rather than continue on the walk.

Great tour. Loved the Lighthouse

Our tour guide was great. Very knowledgeable. She was an expert at moving her tour through the crowded Mykonos streets.

Exploring Mykonos in a day

Enjoyed our trip to Mykonos. Thanks to our guide who was very informative and thanks to our professional driver who had to drive the narrow and winding road going to the lighthouse. It was a fun experience

All of the highlights & back on time

This was a great tour. After getting off of the cruise ship, we met our tour guide. We were able to visit all of the highlights of the island & make it back to our cruise ship on time.

A worthwhile tour

We enjoyed the guided tour. Lucy, our tour guide is very knowledgeable about the history of the places. She is humorous & takes care of the group very well! The tour is worthwhile to tour all the spots given the limited time we have.

Tour guide was having a bad day

I’d like to leave a better score but things weren’t right from the minute we got on the bus. My booking said max 30 people, there were 48 and only 1 guide making it difficult to hear her. The tour was supposed to be 4 hours, she thought it was more like 6, then asked if our boat had changed schedule because she thought we were there overnight, the collective NO that came from the bus was loud. So we did most of the tour, which was good and interesting but to slow because at 6:30pm when the tour was supposed to end, we were motoring our way to another village . When we got there she said you’ve got 20 mins to look around etc, once again, the bus erupted into NO’s, we need to be back at the ship. So we turned around and back we went. It was disappointing to those who wanted to see the monastery and people had asked for time to shop and she said there would be, but none of that happened.

Good overview of the island

The tour guide did a great job of explaining the sites we visited. It was nice that the tour picked us up at the cruise ship. The only problem is that the tour ended in town and didn’t return us to the cruise ship. We had to pay for a ferry ride back to the ship. Fortunately I had the euros to do that. This needs to be explained in the tour description.

Tour guide was very professional. Bus was clean. Walked us in too many circles. We did not need to go yo a bakery—made me feel it was a kickback

guide was knowledgeable and nice. was a great way to explore the island. started 15 min late which was frustrating but once we got going it was good

Enjoyed the culture, the view and the cuisine

This was a great cruise excursion. We got to see all the major sites, take pics and still have time to roam and enjoy lunch, the culture and the view. Andrea was pleasant and informative. Recommend a visit to Mykonos to everyone, less congested and more rekaxed than Santorini, this tour was memorable, one of our favorite ports.

Equipment malfunction tainted what should have been a good experience.

Our tour guide Michael saved this rating from being lower. He was great during a disastrous start. The original bus we got on had a new driver, no air conditioning and could not make it up hills without dying and having to be re started. Michael did his best in a bad situation to keep us calm and give us information about the island despite all the distractions. The new bus driver was terrible and was replaced along with the bus after our first stop. The long delay caused the trip to run over by at least an hour and we had to break off in order gets some shopping in, eat the local cuisine and to make it back on the ship by 5:30.

Loved Mykonos!

Christina was so knowledgeable and it was obvious she loves Mykonos! Tour was great fun, and we saw many beautiful sights. Especially loved the lighthouse stop

I contacted operator the day before with a question but did not hear back. I was disappointed when guide said the guide said the walk to windmills was an hour.

You have to see Mykonos!

A beautiful tour of Mykonos! Our guide, Lucy, was fabulous; so knowledgeable and helpful. Our driver navigated the winding roads with great ease. Comfortable air conditioned bus made for a great day!
