Try something new

Staff were excellent and were very patient with us, being beginners. Such a great way to taste the energy of scuba diving. I found it a little challenging being 53, never done it before but so happy I gave it a go. This type of scuba diving (introductory) isn’t comparable at home (Australia) given the price and what a great experience it was.

Scuba diving done the right way

Annie is a master instructor. She took the time to handle two divers at very different skill levels and was very attentive to the both of us. We learned skills we haven’t before at other Padi courses and she went by the book. So much fun!

The best moment of our Europe trip of 2022

My favorite part of my experience was do the scuba diving with my family in the sea that has a lot of fish species. We loved our instructor too (we don't remember her name ;-;, but we kow that she was born in Zimbabue). It was the first time that my son did scuba diving, and it was easy and amazing for him. My son said that is kinda afraid for the next time, I told him that maybe he'll not find any sea like Mykonos; the water is soooooo clean...

Mediocre experience

Good instructors but nothing to see under water. I wish I knew that before, as I was hoping to see beautiful marine life. You'll see a fish or too and some rocks :/

Had an amazing experience! My instructor Jess was very friendly, funny and had an overall positive, genuine vibe. We joked and laughed and she made me feel very calm and at ease which was a huge feat since I’m not a big water guy. Didn’t really have any issues on the dive and she stayed close to me which made me feel more confident in the water. Saw some amazing fish and even saw an octopus in its cave! Adjusting to the pressure was a bit tricky but it’ll vary per person and swimming for that long is a real workout but would def recommend and again ask for Jess!🤿🏊🏾‍♂️🐟🐠

A Bit Disappointing

They did a good job giving us an over view of the basics for scuba diving, but the dive itself was a bit disappointing. I have scuba dived many locations and was excited for my boys to try it to see if they wanted to be certified. There was really nothing to see except people swimming above us. Our guide tried to be fun under the water by throwing bricks and such and showing us the remains of sea creature. We did see a few kinds of fish but that is it. I was really hoping for a little more for the money.

I have dived with Padi diving before at other locations around the world and really enjoyed it. Which was why I booked this time. I thought the experience would be the same but unfortunately it was not. The training was not adequate and the location for the dive was quite average. Normally I have been given extensive training with a little test at the end. Then taken out in a boat to a reef. You kit up and jump in the water. You do more training and then get diving with loads of marine life and coral. This time, we were kitted up and had to walk with our very heavy equipment on our back through a public beach and into the water. Where, we put our flippers on and had stones from the beach stuck in our flippers for the whole time in the water. This was very uncomfortable for everyone involved. We then walked out a few feet and went down into the shallow reef. My friend had never dived before and the training for her was not thorough. We did see a few cute fish and the girl who took us out to the reef was nice, but I don’t rate this experience well. It is very expensive and not much bang for your buck.

Good place to start if you’ve never done this kind of thing before!

We had a great time on this experience. It was definitely out of my comfort zone so I was quite nervous, but the instructors were very thorough with the training and safety before we started. We spent a good hour or so going over everything, and even when we were out there it felt easy enough to let them know if I was struggling and they would assist. Once we were into it properly it was great! I don’t think it’s for everyone, and not sure I would do it again, but I’m glad I had the experience. We didn’t have to go too far in, so it felt like I could go up to the top easy if I got stuck. Thanks to the helpful staff especially our instructor Hugo, would definitely recommend if you’re up for something different!

One child had no experience diving was carefully cared for and assisted. A great experience and I would recommend them without hesitation.

amazing team, lovely reef dive

I completed a DSD and my friend did a one-tank dive (as he is a certified diver). Javi guided us on a chilly but lovely dive through the home reef. We saw camouflaged flounder resting on the sand, lots of beautiful wrasse and curious damsel fish. Swimming delicately through the sea grass and rocky reef was really unique if you're used to corals. The mediterranean water was perfectly clear and Javi was very considerate and patient, helping us with our equipment and navigating the beach entrance. We warmed up afterward with a shower and sat and chatted with the whole team. Costas, Jess, Javi and Hugo are all lovely. I would highly recommend diving with them.

Great experience

Great experience, great instructors. Teaches you about yourself and controlling your instincts. That's another world down there, but finally it's more about yourself in relation to the water world down under, mostly like a form of meditation.

Great place to dive!

We went for a fun dive around the reef and it was perfect! The visibility was amazing!!! From the moment we arrived we felt at home. the staff was super nice and professional. The equipment was in top conditions. Wish I could go again!

One of the Best diving centers ever been.

Great and experienced stuff, great place, friendly and warm atmosphere that makes you never wanna leave the place. Always happy to talk with you and solve all of your questions. Did 2 dives there. First time diving between so many Baracudas was amazing. Even the reef near the center will give you a pleasant experience of octopus ink while teasing them, sea horses, and other sea life. The equipment is Scubapro which gives you the note of professionalism of the diving center by using one of the top brands under water. The only thing didn't enjoy was the wind, but well, that's Mykonos! Thank you all for the experience. Helen

Best experience in Mykonos!!

During my stay in Mykonos I booked a scuba diving lesson and it was probably the best thing I could do.The staff was kind and super helpful and they made me feel very comfortable because I was a bit nervous at the beginning with that new experience.The ocean was amazing and I saw a lot of things that I didn’t expect to see! A special thank to Marita, my diving instructor who has the talent to pass her passion for diving to people who are trying it for the first time! Sure is that I will see you all next year!

Dont dive there , there is nothing to see under the water and u will feel very boared , its just waisting time and money , i tried it and i asked to take me back to the beach and to end the dive early , i didnt want to continue , it was empty and nothing to see

Discover Scuba Diving - Spectacular!!!

I have opted this programme as a birthday experience to my wife. We have reached the diving centre which is located at Paradise beach on the booked time. Our assigned instructor Marita was as excited as us to take us to our first diving experience. After some videos and instructions on Diving and exercises under water, we started equipping ourselves for the dive. As it is discover scuba training, we started getting into the water from the shore. Marita was super helpful and understanding and made us less nervous with her attitude. Whenever there was some issues, (like the weight band around my waste started coming down) she promptly helped us without any hesitations. My wife found it difficult in the starting to breath under water using the valve. However Marita very patient and encouraged her with many stories where people tried and succeeded. In the whole time she was very supportive and she herself wanted us to experience this amazing activity. We spend some time floating in the water and thought we might have to get back as the time was also running out. Finally my wife overcame her difficulties and Marita took us to the wonderful sealife and the world of diving. It would not have been possible if the instructor wasn't patient or encouraging. This helped us to end the day in very high notes and we were super happy. Thanks a lot Mykonos Diving Centre and Marita for helping us experience wonderful underwater world. I would highly recommend their scuba diving programme to anyone interested. I found the entire staff here is treating others and customers like family. A thrilled and happy customer. Now as a feedback to improve, I would suggest if you could work on a payment gateway for making payments online. Current system rely on text for transferring card details and is not secure. Hopefully this is in your plan for expansion.

DSD Adventure

Me and my partner have participated in a DSD Adventure before; however Mykonos Diving Center exceeded all expectations. We were thoroughly impressed with our experience and the support from all staff members. Special shout out to Mishko, who was super friendly and funny instructor. We would advise everybody (novice/ pro) to experience all that the diving center has to offer!

First Time Scuba Diving - Amazing!

I had the pleasure to experience scuba diving for the first time with the professional and enthusiastic care of Andreas from the Mykonos Diving Center. Before I got there I was definitely nervous but that all went away as soon as Andreas began guiding us through the process. After a quick introduction , instructional video, and review of proper techniques, we were off into the water to begin our time. It was a great first time as Andreas showed us some unique sea life like an octopus hiding in its enclosure and two barracudas swimming in tandem. I highly recommend this location for those who are first time divers as well as those with experience as the team tailors the experience to your level. I would definitely go back the next time I’m in Mykonos!

Professional service and insanely fun dives!

What an amazing day of dives! Our guides Andreas and Pisco, were both informative and helpful. They adjusted our dive locations to account for the wind and weather to maximize comfort, safety, and water clarity. I am an experienced diver who has hired many dive outfits in different countries and I can verify that this guide service is top notch!

Out of this world experience

This was my first scuba diving experience. I had an amazing time. The staff was very friendly and informative. The water was crystal clear with plenty of aquatic life to see. My instructor Daniel Aloni was unbelievable!! Thank you Daniel and the entire Mykonos Fiving Centre team for making my trip. I highly recommend this to anyone heading to Mykonos and I will absolutely be back!!

Amazing experience, very helpful and accomodating instructors!

Scuba diving at Paradise beach was an amazing experience. My instructor, Marita was very helpful, I have a back problem and I thought I wouldn't be able to dive but she helped with carrying the equipment and overall it was a fabulous experience! It was the highlight of my stay in Mykonos. I highly recommend Mykonos Diving Center at Paradise beach to anyone who wants to give scuba diving a shot!

Awesome crew and great dive!

My wife and I had always wanted to experience scuba diving and what better way to do it on our honeymoon. The staff were exceptional and very helpful. They even assisted with carrying my scuba gear for me to the beach as I had previous back injuries. They were very patient with us during training which made our experience helpful. We got to see a variety of marine life including the star of the day "the octopus". Cannot fault this review! Great work Silvia and crew!

Scuba even if you can’t swim!

Point of View : from Beginners We were 30 min late missing our group dive. However, the staff was able to accommodate! Our instructor was Alex and my friend and I were the only ones scuba diving with him (it was like a personal lesson).He is definitely a great instructor!!! What makes him amazing instructor you ask?? Well he is definitely very patient with beginners. He made sure we understood all the procedures. My friend didn’t know how to swim and was having difficulties but Alex was able to help him while we were under water. The best part, he showed us the octopus that lives there ! The octopus was hiding in his cave but Alex used a technique that got the octopus to come out for a few seconds. It was truly an amazing experience that I will never forget.

I am impressed with my instructor named Silvia Zurita Sanchez. She was very patient and encouraging with me despite of my phobia in deep sea water. She made the training and each exercise in the water fun and relaxing. I truly feel safe with her and I am thankful of her guidance and training. All the instructors at this centre were friendly and helpful too. Get your diving experience here at Mykonos Dive Centre. The water is calm and beautiful.

Best diving experience ever

I'm really glad that we could have this best scuba diving experience without license to discover under the sea in mykonos. Specially thank you for Alex & Nebojsa!! They are not only very professional but also kind and helpful!! And I'm sure that whoever doesn't know swimming could also come and dive. I am afraid of water because i don't swim, Alex always let us to stay calm from the beginning till the end, and take care every second, make sure you are safe. For having a relaxing dive with your buddy which is very enjoyable. Would come back again by any chances!!

Probably the best experience in Europe yet.

Our first scuba experience here turned out be the best experience in our European itinerary till now, and believe me it's been 4 months and 20 nations. The experience was surreal not only because of the stunning views underwater and the aquatic life we saw but also for the sheer ease of the entire experience that too with a friend who has a phobia of water enjoying herself thoroughly. We reached the venue on the eve of orthodox easter holiday firstly but Costas responded expeditiously to our query and viola we had our scuba experience the next day. Nebojsa was supremely patient while giving us important tips and training and also extremely focused that we enjoy our fist dive. Alex also made it seem like a cakewalk with his funny anecdotes and lively attitude. The best part of all is that you never expect to make such good friends, but that natural since both were such awesome people. The scuba experience and all the cultural exchange, including tips for newer dive sites for us to explore close to India in Sri Lanka, that happened post that will keep this memory intact forever. Haha and I also owe both Alex and Nebojsa authentic butter chicken back in India.

Tolles Team und eine sichere Taucherfahrung

Ich war ein absoluter Tauchanfänger mit großem Respekt vor der mir unbekannten Unterwasserwelt und daher sehr positiv überrascht, wie professionell man auf den ersten Tauchgang vorbereitet wurde. Die gesamten Tauschgänge wurden von top ausgebildetem Personal betreut und durchgeführt. Dadurch wurden meine ersten Tauschgänge ein sicheres und wunderbares Erlebnis. Ich kann die Tauchschule nur empfehlen. Hier steht die Sicherheit an erster Stelle. Das bemerkt man auch sofort an dem zur Verfügung gestellten, unter stetiger Kontrolle stehendem Equipment. Sehr guter Zustand! Unser Dank gilt ebenfalls dem Team, die uns die gesamte Zeit mit viel Freude betreut haben und einem somit den Spaß am Tauchen vermittelt haben. Wir haben bereits auf mehreren Inseln geschnorchelt, aber haben noch nie vorher so zahlreiche und verschiedene Fische beobachten dürfen wie auf Mykonos. Dieses wurde mir als Anfänger sogar direkt vom Strand aus geboten, da dem Paradise Beach ein Riff vorgelagert ist. Auch das kommt einem Tauschanfänger in Punkto Sicherheit sehr entgegen. Für die etwas erfahreneren Taucher werden mit dem Boot noch andere Tauchreviere angefahren und können dann erkundet werden. Selbst ein Schiffswrack steht den erfahrenen Tauchern zur Erkundung zur Verfügung. Tolle Erfahrung!
