We Had the Best Captain Ever

It was one of the most Amazing experiences ever. Captain Ashraf is the Best, he’s a two time rescue certified professional swimmer and made us especial my eight year daughter overcome her fear of the water and enjoy her day. It was the best. I highly recommend Oman Sea Tours for this experience.

Captivated by the ocean eyes

Very pleasant experience with well experienced captains. We saw lots of turtles, a stingray and giant fish. It was the first snorkelling adventure for my daughter and I always felt safe and well looked after. They provided tasty refreshments too and the boat comes with a toilet and a shower. I could not have asked for more. Absolutely recommended!

A Whale of a time :-)

We joined Captain Fahad and his crew on a day adventure to the Daymaniat Islands in hope of sighting whale sharks. I have been enviously following Fahad on socials and seeing all the whale shark encounters. We visited in the ‘season’ to maximise the chances of spotting these coveted marine life. The boat is top class, super modern, spacious and faired the waves infinitely better than the dive boat we were on the previous day. The safety briefing and plan for the day were communicated very well and made us very comfortable and reassured. The Daymaniat islands were stunning, in 30 mins of snorkeling we saw turtles, barracuda, multiple other fish, soft and hard corals. However, we left too soon ,but very excitingly because Fahad got notification of whale sharks in the vicinity. We arrived at an ocean location to see 10-15 whale sharks feeding on planktons; their dorsal fins, tails and mouths bobbing out of the ocean. They were bigger than the 2 individuals I’ve seen previously and we were absolutely privileged to see so many. We were carefully guided into the water by Fahad to experience these gentle giants in a respectful way. The viewings from the boat were possibly even better (due to low visibility in the water). I loved every minute and I think we had about 90mins with them. I was over the moon and delighted that the team managed to make our wishes come true. This was a truly magical experience for me. I would recommend the trip in a heartbeat, even if we weren’t so unbelievably fortunate to have this incredible encounter with the whale sharks, the trip would still have been excellent. Great Tour

Such a great tour! The tour went smoothly. We had a wonderful day. There were plenty of snacks, juices, and water. The area is stunningly beautiful. We could see various animals. I would definitely recommend this tour to the islands. A big shoutout to our captain, Mr. Ilyas, who safely guided us and took beautiful underwater photos.

Don't miss this experience! Exceptional and professional tour operator. Excellent service - easy to book through our hotel, picked us up right on time and took us straight to boat. Fast and modern boat, great crew, snacks and drinks on board, excellent snorkelling equipment provided. Stopped and saw a pod of dolphins on way to island. Three unique snorkelling spots - all incredible. Captain snorkelled with us, pointing out marine life and took underwater videos which were airdropped to us on the way back. Absolute highlight of our time in Muscat and would definitely do again.

This was a most memorable experience for our family...our captain and tour guide for the day was friendly, helpful and went out of his way to ensure that we were happy. The ONLY way to visit the Dimaniyat Islands- cannot recommend enough

This was my third time visiting the Dimaniyat Islands with Oman Sea Tour in the past few years, and the unrivaled level of professionalism, attention to detail, and customer service is what keeps me coming back. I regret ever going with another operator (i went before I discovered Oman Sea Tour) and I would never go with anyone but them. Faisal is a legend, kind, well organized, knowledgeable, and extremely welcoming. He is also extremely well respected on the islands, so if you ever book an overnight experience with camping, you will regret not booking with this incredible company. He will ensure your camp is away from the other tents on the nicest beach, the food is fresh and delicious, more than enough snacks, new and high quality snorkeling equipment etc. the list goes on and on. Add to this the fact that they have great boats, fully stocked with cold refreshments and with more than enough space for everyone to enjoy, and you have the recipe for an amazing time. Unfortunately we were not lucky enough to see the whale sharks on our trip yesterday, but we went and dove on the sunken military plane, the sunken trucks, as well as were lucky enough to swim with some eagle rays. I will be booking again in December when I plan on bringing my mother, and the rest of the family. Thank you Faisal and Oman Sea Tour for making every experience so magical. Best Snorkling Tour

before you book for a tour to Dimaniat Island make sure to ask for the access to the island because of the nesting season. I forgot To ask for it, but today I had fun with friend even for him was his first time. Our captain Ilyas was so profesional and attentive. The whole trip was with us showing where the turtles are. He wa so kind to take pics and make some vids near to turtles which almost at the end of the trip he share with the whole group. This trip is absolutely worth it if you’re looking for an activity during summer.

Worth it

Amazing trip that is highly recommended. Went for snorkelling with 2 friends and saw many turtles and the water was crystal clear. The boat is very good and the seating is very comfy. The captain (who is the guide) was very nice, polite and professional.

Amazing trip and great staff

We booked a trip to Ad Dimaniyat Island, and it was spectacular. The trip is made up of two snorkeling spots around the island (dur to the nesting season for few birds and turtles, we were not allowed to go on the island). On the way to the island we were lucky to spot some whale sharks; so they have decided to add one extra snorkeling place. The team were super friendly (Ilyas and Ashraf) and helpful. They made sure that we were comfortable on the boat and in the sea.

Best snorkel trip ever

Wow. Great trip. Started with a snorkel with whale sharks-a special treat i was not expecting. Amazing! Best snorkel trip I ever had. 2 more snorkel stops with many turtles and interesting fish and corals. Beautiful area and water very clear. Oman Sea team very helpful and respectful of wildlife. Not all other boats were.acting the same. Boat is very nice and its size just right for comfort but not too many people Thanks to Captain and his team.

Nice, not excpetional

The turtle sightings were the highlight of the trip. Crew helpful and cordial. Overall good. On the flip side, no shade on the island beach when It was extremely hot, did not travel with the skipper or designated ship and made to wait for more than an hour despite being the first to arrive at the meeting point while others who arrived later were seated and left before.

Mohamad and Ayoub were very accommodating and very helpful. From the time we board in the boat until we finished the trip. They gave proper instructions and expectations for the day agenda. They help us with the gear and cook BBQ in the island.Amazing day!!

A magical and well organised experience

We had an amazing time at the Damaniyat Islands, first snorkelling and seeing a group of turtles then going ashore on one of the islands where we snorkelled again seeing a variety of fish. The trip was well organised and the crew friendly and knowledgeable. The boat was immaculate and they provided snacks and soft drinks. At the end of the trip the captain shared his go pro footage of the turtles which we will treasure. Highly recommended, thank you.

Fantastic tour

Incredible trip - managed to swim with turtles, many different fish and a rare octopus, stopping in three different places on the island. The staff were really good - we spent half an hour both before and after the island stop watching two humpback whales - an experience I didn’t think I’d get with this tour! One of the tour guides swam with the group to help find the wildlife, which was much appreciated. Snacks and soft drinks (+water) were on tap. Would 100% recommend.

Great day out for the family

Great day out with our family.We all loved swimming with the turtles and there were plenty of them.Sadly we had poor visibility in the first bay as a lot of green algae in the area , second beach was better . Beautiful beaches , but crowded with tourist boats. We were also lucky to see a pilot whale on our ride home. Our captain was very friendly and helpful. Comfortable boat with good selection of snacks and drinks. Don’t come on this trip expecting stunning coral and a lot of fish. It’s a shame that so many tour boats are allowed at the same time, too many people and unsustainable for the environment.

Turtelly awesome!!!

Amazing lifetime experience. We were not expecting to see a huge pod of dolphins, which was an amazing experience. My friend and I have seen many dolphins before but never that many at once. We then went snorkelling as planned and were swimming amongst 20+ large turtles at once and beautifully coloured fish amongst the coral. Snacks and drinks were plentiful and our host was friendly attentive and very helpful. The only negative was that the trip we booked was advertised to include kayaking, but this was not available. However this did not spoil our enjoyment as the snorkelling was outstanding.

Great Half Day Tour to an amazing archipelago

Great trip with Ilyas and the crew, the Daymaniyat Islands are quite magical with the combination of great beaches, warm water and some of the best snorkelling I have done. Turtles can often be illusive on tours of this type - I counted 19, and a huge variety of fish without some of the more dangerous ones that can sometimes put off less confident people. The tour includes lots of cold drinks, kayaking if you wish and a snack. Our tour had to depart from Al Seeb due to an event in Muscat but the comms were excellent.

A pleasant morning spent watching turtles feed.

This was a lovely half day trip. The boat ride itself, 45 mins to the island, was comfortable. Once on the island we had an hour of snorkelling and watch the turtles. There were plenty of other fish to see too. The swim wasn’t far off shore and we were provided with masks, snorkels and fins. You could have a life jacket if required. It was slightly chilly in the water so you may want to wear a t-shirt. After this you were free to roam, snorkel off another beach, kayak or just soak up the sun. Water, soft drinks and a sandwich box was provided. The time in the island was about 2 1/2 hours, before the return boat trip. There was a toilet on board where you could change. Remember to take a towel with you.

Great Tour

We enjoyed our tour to Daymaniyat Island. Excellent snorkeling! We only snorkeled at one location maybe because the tide was low but we saw 10+ turtles, beautiful coral and many varieties of fish. I hope to go back at some point to during the summer when Whale Sharks are common.

An Experience must have !

Amazinnnggggggggg experience !!! 10/10 recommend the overnight stay . Swimming with Turtles , huge turtles . Crystal waters , clear night skies , the list continues. The Staff were more of a family to us and took care of everything for us .

Easy and quick to find at the port. Check-in efficient with welcoming staff. Tasty snacks and water provided. Our captain, Elias was friendly and supportive. The snorkelling was incredible with many turtles, variety of fish and coral in turquoise calm waters. Next spot, deeper waters, swimming, kayaking and walking around the island. A great day!

It was a fantastic cruise! The skipper is just so caring! He thought about everything! He was nice to everybody! Kids and adults! We saw 10 turtles during snorkeling! We saw a sea snake ! The sea is clear blue! We ate food sandwiches and had all drinks available!

Top trip to see the turtles & beauty of Oman

We had an excellent time with Oman Sea Tour! From the pre-departure info, and contact by WhatsApp, to the drop-off, everything went smoothly. Would highly recommend this snorkeling trip! My only recommendation is to bring a GoPro or waterproof pouch for your phone as you are going to want to capture these underwater moments. The boat driver, Ashraf, was very adept at maneuvering the boat over the waves. The trip is about 45 min there and back. The boat itself was very clean and had a loo onboard, which was reassuring. We were a group of about 12, I believe and everyone got along well. Ashraf was very attentive to the few people in the group who weren't strong swimmers, but made sure that they were comfortable and set up to see some of the top underwater sights. And boy oh boy, we really enjoyed seeing a group of 20+ turtles. It was truly magical. We did this first snorkel together, and then had a bit of free time to explore other areas if we wanted, but as the weather was a bit overcast, we were happy to warm up after outside of the water. The views of this island are stellar! Don't miss walking up the little hill to peek over to the other side, very picturesque.

Beautiful snorkeling experience

It was really nice, we had enough time for snorkeling and taking pictures also the guides were really helpful and patient. It was permittier to stand on the corals or touch the turtles, so they are really taking care of the nature. The place was also not crowded at all. I would definitely recommend going.

Captain Ilyas and Ashraf were professional, courteous, calm and put all vacationers on board at ease. Instruction was provided before time. All snorkeling and safety gear was made available. Amazing service and tour guides

My wife and I took a day trip to Daymaniat Island for snorkelling. It was her first time snorkeling and she does not how to swim. Our captain was named Achraf and he was super nice. He made the whole experience very enjoyable. Assured my wife about everything as she was nervous a bit. The overall experience was very enjoyable! Totally recommend them.
