He was exceptionally caring throughout the day, always ensuring we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. One of the highlights was watching a stunning sunset while sipping tea, a moment that felt truly magical. His optimism and humor never waned, and he shared many interesting stories that enriched our understanding of each place. For lunch, he provided a delicious picnic that catered well to Western tastes, which was very thoughtful. Wonderfull Jeep saffari

This tour must do things in munnar,we started at 11 in the morning passed away few beautiful waterfalls ,tea plantations, driver Suresh was excellent his English at top level so good,he also was very kind ,food provided in this tour is delicious

Wild swimming and wild elephants

We had an excellent day with Raj in the jeep discovering the area around Munnar. The first stop was a short walk through the tea fields then past a waterfall and tiger cave. However the highlight was the secluded river and of course the elephants. We went wild swimming in the river before eating a great lunch prepared by Raj. To end the day we arrived back at Anakulam to a family of elephants already drinking after their long journey down the mountain. We stayed and watched the elephants for a while before heading back - a perfect day!

We had a great day trip with Raj. He knew the right places to stop and had interesting stories to tell. We were lucky to spot elephants at Anakulan fairly early and didn’t have to wait for long. The lunch that was served by Raj was simple yet delicious.

A wonderful day - even without elephants

It was a very nice day and a super nice driver who told us a lot about the area and the plants that grow there. The stops at the sights (waterfall, tiger cave, ...) were very nice. The driver had an excellent picnic lunch for us and plenty of drinking water. Unfortunately, we did not see any elephants. An amazing jeep safari experience

The tour was excellent. Munnar is a beautiful place and thanks to our guide, Satheesh, we have seen many spectacular views. Satheesh is a lovely guide and the lunch he brought for us was delicious. Pity we did not see the elephants but it's only natural as they are wild so you can't predict when they will be there. It's much better that they are free and risk to not to see them, than seeing them in captivity. Thank you again for the great experience

Lovely day trip

We had the jeep to ourselves and had a lovely time seeing waterfalls, beautiful countryside and even a little family of elephants dipping into the river at the end. Satheesh our driver was great.

The guide raj was well trained for this tour ,tea plantation view on the way was beautiful,few nice waterfalls were we can swim ,homemade food provided was good , lot of local fruits & snacks ,finally at anakulam village really superb experience saw 8 elephants enjoyed lot thanks lot raj,,🙏🙏🙏🙏

We saw elephants!

This was my husband and my first trip to India and we’re glad we booked this tour as you need a jeep to access most tea plantations and the Elephants. We had a great time, my only suggestion is to visit in November-January as the waterfalls were a bit dry in March but we still enjoyed our time. Our tour guide Mani Muthu was very friendly and knowledgeable. He let us stop for pictures whenever we wanted :) he also let us stay late so we could see the elephants. This was a highlight of our trip and we will be coming back

Elephants time! Great trip with a jeep!

The jeep trip with Satheesh was great! He was very helpful to stop at beautiful spot to take pictures and to take beautiful photos of us 😁 We even had the chance to observe for more than 1 hour a family of 7 elephants at Anakulam, without being pressed we decided when we wanted to leave. So big "Thank you" to Satheesh 🙏🏼

We did the Anakulam wild elephant village tour & half day trekking both very excellent with munnar valley trekking company and had we very special memorial days in munnar to take back home. Sathesh is very knowledgeable and good fun to be with him, sathesh local knowledge about the areas, flora & fauna was great. He also look to local village showed all things around, living style even also visited some of the houses !!We learnt about the tea plantations as we travelled through them on the way and enjoyed it he also tooked us lot of photos . The tiger cave was a great visit too lovely hanging bridge on the way. We also visited two waterfalls on the way was nice, even we were swimming in one of them lovely experience, finally we arrived to wild elephant village Anakulam by 5pm there was lot of people around the area waiting eagerly for elephants arrival...we also had waited had superb black tea & local donut taken by sathesh from home prepared his wife and she also made chapathi & curry really delicious for lunch we had on the way thanks lot for that too, we saw elephants around 7pm was really happy then drive back to hotel highly recommend sathesh and his company of this tour

Great safari guide in Munnar

Loved the guide Mani Muthu; he gave us the best tips, jeep ride, and information on the area. His English is good and the communication was easy. We loved his good spirit and jokes.He made us spend a wonderful day in Munnar, without him it wouldn’t have been the same.

Nature, waterfalls and finally also elephants

The trip was as promised. Everything worked smoothly, from the pick up to the end. The nature was beautiful, the driver was nice and gave us enough time to stop where we wanted to. After waiting for a while we also saw the elephants, that was amazing. We were provided with water, snacks and a lunch consisting of Paratha and a very liquid curry. The driver also had knowledge about the local nature and tried to explain us as much as possible.

We did this anakulam elephant tour was highly recommend to all and lovely views on the way, one important information is to book this tour only with munnar valley trekking because there service is at high level from the time of booking this tour we contact many company's ,but the owner sakthi explained us in best way he can answered all my questions ,the guide for us was mani Muthu lovely guy ,he also provided us nice local fruits ,snacks finally the food we had in this trip wonderful 5star for that especially !!

Seeing elephants isn't guaranteed

The driver drove me safely and was happy to stop whenever I wanted to take pictures. He wasn't too chatty and spent most of his time on the phone. The home cooked food for lunch that he brought up was nice and simple. The views were amazing, but no luck with seeing elephants.

Great experience

Satheesh was an excellent guide :) very friendly and he could show us lots of trees and plants, lots of nice places like the waterfalls or a cave and of course the elephants!! We had a great day and the food was really good too, I can highly recommend this tour

This was very good day, the guide kanagu was good for the jeep saffari, saw wild elephant, waterfalls, tigercave, hanging bridge, the most important things to do in munnsr in this wild elephant tour, they aldo provide good home made food and snacks really love it

We did the Anakulam wild elephant village tour with munnar valley tours and had a fabulous day. Guide Satheesh is very knowledgable and good fun to be with enjoy it We learnt about the tea plantations as we travelled through them and enjoyed meeting local people on the way were satheesh born village, The tiger cave was a great visit too. elephant down at the river in Anakulam so we headed off there promptly and it was very exciting to one at such close quarters. We'll never forget it.owner sakthi great guy offered next day half day trekking also for us the guide Samy he provided also was very good as well totally recommended this company for anyone in munnar

Elephant Viewing - Anakkulam

Amazing experience seeing elephants at Anakkulam. Our driver and guide, Manimathu was great - very knowledgable of the area, stopped at all key locations for photos and to give explanations and took us to a spice market on the way back. I would certainly recommend this tour.

Great way to see some elephants!

Very friendly and helpful guides. We saw two elephants - mom and baby - around 7pm. It was magical! The food was also very good and they provided plenty of water. Most of the tour is done in a jeep with small amounts of walking scattered in between. Many of the stops felt a little bit touristy but it was worth it to see the elephants. Our guides knew lots about the local plants and stopped to let us see them. They also stopped at good viewpoints and even showed us one of their family homes, which was super cool. Seeing the elephants is the last stop of the tour, and it takes 1-1.5 hours to get back to Munnar from there. We waited from around 3:30 pm til 7 to see them. It could be helpful to bring something to sit on (and something to pass the time) while you wait.

Great day trip in Munnar

Really great Jeep tour with Satheesh. He was a great guide who also picked us up at the hotel. We had a great view through the tea plantations and were swimming in the waterfall. The lunch brake was also really good. Just a picnic in the nature with selfmade food. The highlight was the elephants at Anakulam, also we had to wait 4 hours in the heat to see them. But thanks to Satheesh that we waited so long with us. In total the tour took then 11 hours. I just can recommend to book this tour. 😃 Only one remark, the English skills of our guide could be improved.

Unforgettable and amazing experience

Our experience today was absolutely fantastic, made better by our wonderful guide Mani. From the start he stopped to allow for photos and was very informative on each place we visited. The highlight was he allowed us all the time to wait to see the wild elephants who made an appearance after dusk by the river, this was just the best experience ever it was so amazing and unforgettable. We thankyou Mani so much you made our stay in Munnar so memorable. We highly recommend this company and especially Mani. Jenny and Lisa.

A great afternoon

We had a great afternoon. Our guide was very kind and let us stay on late to see a second group of elephants appear at the waterhole - it was magical! He was a very competent driver and we enjoyed the drive down through the tea plantation, stopping often to take photos. The picnic was lovely and we especially enjoyed the walk/ climb down to the tiger caves. We would highly recommend the company and the tour.

Great tour, great guide

Amazing Experience!! We booked a day jeep tour for 2 people and it did not disappoint. Our guide, Sathesh was extremely helpful and patient with us and molded the tour arround us. The wild elephant stop at the end is understandably unpredictable as they usually appear between 3pm and 9:30pm but, of course can't be rushed. Even though it was supposed to be just a 6-8hour tour, Sathesh was very nice and allowed us to keep waiting beyond that alloted time so we could see the elephants. He even wonderfully surprised us the next day with some lovely photos that he had taken of us together. Thank you Sathesh and thank you Munnar Valley trekking for a great day! Highly recommend Sathesh!

Very good experience must to do in munnar with this munnar Valley trekking & tours

My Friends group we took the Elephant Village tour. We were picked at some cottage and dropped back . We agreed this was our favourite day of our trip to Kerala. Our lovely guide mani muthu took us to all the great spots including tea plantations, waterfalls, and tiger caves. They were plenty of chances to stop and take photos and he made sure he took some for us mani muthu took us for lunch in beautiful view point he bought us lovely home made food and even invited us to his small home met his lovely family,then finally owner sakthi is ready to help in many ways to explore any questions about local munnar just call him

Driver cum guide Satheesh was awesome great knowledge person about local area, very good experience as well.Personal suggestions do not take too much of time for food, just enjoy the nature. Plan to start by 9am to cover all the adventures like river crossing ,hanging bridge,to see wild elephants in anakulam village was wonderful,to book this tour best place is munnar valley trekking in munnar there office is at smm cottage

First trip to munnar

That was an amazing experience in munnar . The guide was excellant. He displayed his atmost experience in showing us the places around munnar and made us feel excited . He was just like a friend .

Best trip in munnar to have!!!

Our wonderful trip started with Mani muthu, picked us up at 9:00am from meeting point smm cottage to take us on a tour & safari. We bathed in waterfalls viriparai had good time, walked in tea plantations, visited a tiger cave - tiger long gone. Then muthu made crossing hanging bridge safely then also sure reaching to see elephant in the wild at time in anakulam. I have asked for a kinder, more knowledgeable guide and safe driver to have then owner sakthi provided mani muthu was best then munnar valley tours highly recommend also was good we contact him in whatsup very quickly responding.

Excellent tour with Munnar valley tours to anakulam elephant village, tea plantation village and waterfalls. Then river crossing with Jeep was super experience Great value, excellent communication with guide muniraj and was also driver Very beautiful off the beaten track locations to escape the big crowds and see the countryside and plantations. Great lunch stop. We got lucky and saw nearly 20 elephants at anakulam village.
