The guide really knows a lot about the munnars mountain and the nature around the tee plantation. We took a less tourist route and was completely alone for 70% og the time. Can strongly recommend this hike and guide

A day well spent !

If you want to experience the tranquility of Munnar away from the usual tourist attractions I would highly recommend this activity. It’s a 3 hour trek which starts at 8/9 am in the morning. You will experience various landscapes during the trek - tree plantation, forests, hills. Anyone with average fitness levels can attempt this activity (barring few steep inclines, the rest was akin to a normal walk). Our guide - Ravindra uncle was extremely knowledgeable with the terrain. The company provides you with water, fruits and biscuits during the trek. There are two break points and give you amazing view of Munnar from the peak. Special thanks to the company for accommodating us for a morning trek as we booked them pretty late at 10pm the previous night.

nice trekking experience

We had wonderful trekking experience. Walking through the tea gardens, forest and valley viewpoints was refreshing. Mr Pradeep and his father shared lot of information including history of Munnar tea plantation.

Amazing trek in the tea plantations

Pradeep picked us up from our hotel and drove us to the edge of the plantation to do our trek. It was a lovely day out, beautiful views and friendly and knowledgable guide. Would highly recommend. In fact, we’ve even decided to do another tour again with them tommorow!

Nice and friendly

I did a five hours trekking. We left at eight in the morning and came back at 1pm, just when it got hot. I enjoyed the walk through teaplantations and on hillcrests with beautiful views. And Parveen knew to answer all the questions about tea, animals and life in Munnar. I recommend going on a trekking with this friendly people 👍🏻😄

Trek

My friend and me did a trek during the morning inside tea plantations in Munnar. We met Pradeep the evening before and he proposes to us differents kind of treks. We choose the soft one : trek between 3 and 4 hours in tea plantations with a guide. Very interesting !!! The guide (Pradeep's brother) explain to us everthing about tea and about some plants on the trek. Beautiful views and we saw some beautiful squirrels !

A great day trek option in Munnar

We went on a beautiful day trek in Munnar with a very knowledgeable guide. We hiked through hills and tea plantations and even saw some giant squirrels in the forest. Our guide told us many things about the tea making process and history of the area along with many things about the local fauna and animals. Highly recommended tour.

Two wonderful days spent trekking in hills near Munnar Town

We (spouse and myself) signed up, a day in advance, for a morning of "soft trekking." (1700INR including pickup.) The guide (didn't catch his name) picked us up at our homestay outside Munnar in the morning, and took us on a beautiful 5-hour hike through tea plantations, woods, and high-altitude grasslands. It was just the two of us, which was really nice. Along the way, he told us about the history of the tea plantations, the process of making tea, and the plants found in the area as we saw them. (E.g. passionfruit, cardamom, silver oak, a flower that you chew to numb your teeth, etc.) We ended at the top of a hill with a beautiful view. It was so enjoyable that we booked the same thing for the next day.

Truely Amazing experience!

Pradeep is just brilliant! We went for a soft trek with him and it was a great experience of our Munnar trip! Pradeep knows the place thoroughly since he's a native. We enjoyed walking through the tea estates and hills. Pradeep told us many interesting facts about the place and made the trip engaging. We were very happy that we chose this trek with Pradeep.

Pradeep is a really nice person, and has amazing tours of Munnar at reasonable prices. He is well prepared for his trips, and manages the travel, and the snacks in advance and patiently takes us, with the sole intention that we enjoy Munnar. He is very transparent about his dealings, we recommend him in the strongest possible terms and will come again!
