What a great experience- my guide also spent time sharing great information. I was able to see two tv shows in production, had a Bollywood dance wagon and was able to participate and learn and it included recording a song in the sound studio as a keepsake. Great experience! .

Unforgetable experience

Bollywood is something we all heard of but not everybody knows whats behind the courtains. Its somethinh from everything, luxury, chaos, mess but in overaĺ unforgetable experience. If you ever want to see this, book this tour! Out guide Kavita was great, always taking my phone so I have a lot of pictures from every scene room. Thank you one more time 🙌🏻

Background: 6th time in Mumbai as a family from Switzerland, 4 days in the city, 3 weeks in India, 1/13 tours during this trip Coming from Switzerland we're not that much fan of Bollywood-films, but wanted to get an insight of this large and Mumbai typical industry. The tour itself lasted 2.5 hrs and we did all of what was promised. Our guide Neha Mastud was a friendly person who tried to inflame the spirit of Bollywood in us, explained a lot about the world of illusions and gave many background information. Although we were a bit surprised about the rather small ground of the studio (we've learned that there are some more than 30 in the city and this is one of the bigger ones) we've attended a live recording, saw a couple of set sceneries, sang karaoke in a sound studio, could do a costume dress-up, saw a life dance performance... and Neha did all she could to make this tour a personal one, was interesting in us and our so far Mumbai and India experiments, shared also during the car ride many thoughts and questions and made this tour definitely a thing to remember. The four star rating is due to our own strangeness to the topic. As truly Bollywood-outsiders, some more detailed information (during the doc film in the theatre) would have helped, which tricks are done by which known films (year of film, title and visitors, costs …) And it stays puzzling what happens to the film industry in the last 15 yrs.

Insightful Tour

It is quite the cool and interesting experience to see and be on the sets of movies made in Bollywood. Seeing and interacting with the sets was very insightful, and watching a live performance and interacting with the sound studio was a memorable experience. My tour guide, Kavita, did an amazing job and provided a lot of knowledge and know-how of the sets and experience.

Excellent experience!

Kavita showed us the best time at the Bollywood film studios- we had a lot of fun. We saw lots of cool sets, sound editing, live filming, and some Bollywood dances. Kavita gave us lots of great information, and our driver navigated the traffic expertly. We would recommend this tour.

Tour of Bollywood

Kavita and ashfak were great hosts and took us on a tour of Bollywood studio and some Bollywood starts home. The experience was very enjoyable.

A good experience of Bollywood

We were going on the Bollywood tour with the guide Kavita. We are shown around a set that’s used for recording series. The guide was friendly and had good knowledge of the place. We got to see the recording of scene to a series, and got test or singing skills in a recording booth. There was also a dancing show.

The Bollywood Experience

I had an amazing experience with Kavita, she was quite friendly and made the tour a lot of fun. It felt like walking around Mumbai with a friend. We took photos, told jokes and shared interesting personal stories. A day well spent for sure.

Bollywood Studio Experience

My wife and I did a Bollywood Tour and it was a great time! Pooja, our tour guide, picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. The studio tour was fantastic! We got to see multiple Bollywood Series being filmed and we saw the whole process of making the movies and series. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in seeing and learning more about how Bollywood make their movies. The guides are knowledgeable and fun!

The missed famous bollywod sector of mumbai

Sat on bus waiting for others for 2 hours. Not 15 people as afvertised. Very busy due to diwali. Disappointedly, only did portion of tour... not bollywood, which we were looking forward to. (We were refunded portion). Ravi was informative, funny and very apologetic. Excellent your guide!

Fabulous experience at the SJ Studios, Mumbai

The tour of the studios was amazing! Jaya my tour guide was very knowledgeable and shared with me lots of information about the studio, the shows and films that were shot there. I was able to see many different sets and the filming of some shows. I enjoyed the song recording and the dancing. The dancers performance was incredible and was great to join in at the end. Even got to try on some costumes. Overall very pleased with my visit and tour!

Famous Bollywood Tour

The tour lived up to expectation. Neha was excellent in giving us all the information and Hasan was a superb driver. It was enlightening to see how the movies are made. The interactive singing and dancing activity were enjoyable experiences. It would be nice though if the studio was a bit cleaner. Lunch prepared by Noorjan was very tasty. Overall a tour worth doing with wonderful staff.

This was such an amazing day. Kavita (tour guide) and Hassan (the driver) were very knowledgeable. The information was really interesting and fun. They kept us entertained even when we hit a bit of traffic. It really felt like spending the day with friends.

Tons of fun in Mumbai!

This tour really was a lot of fun! We got to tour the sets of the largest Bollywood studio in Mumbai, and even got to see some shows being filmed and take pictures with some of the actors! Hasan was a great driver and even held my things while I got to participate in a traditional Bollywood dance. Overall a fun and unique experience to have in Mumbai!

Magical tour of Bollywood Studio!

We had a thorough insider’s view of the of the Bollywood Film Industry, one of the largest film industries in the world. We got to see behind-the-scene activities, watched the live filming of a television show, witnessed the interesting sets of hospital, village, police station, court room, etc. Finally we also observed the sound recording room and Bollywood Mini Museum, where we wore the Bollywood costumes of King, Queen, etc. The guide from the studio was amazing with her expertise and skills that she shared with us. We enjoyed a live Bollywood Dance Show, which was the highlight of the tour. We even participated in a live dance with the professional dancers and recorded our singing skill. Thanks to that gentle lady guide, who made us feel home during the entire tour.

Fun and insightful trip to a key studio in Bollywood. A brief opportunity to feel like a movie star!

Rohit was a friendly, engaging tour guide who was knowledgable of all things Bollywood to the uninitiated and made the tour fun. He was encouraging for the interactive pieces which helped me pluck up the courage to participate. Get him to run your tour! Ram was a calming presence on the hectic roads of Mumbai getting me to and from the studio seamlessly in a well air conditioned car with a steady supply of water. A lovely chap who will add value to your tour all the way along.

Bollywood and Food Tasting Tour

I had a wonderful experience with guide Sahil Kamble and driver Hassan on the Bollywood and Food Tasting tours. I'd recommend the Bollywood tour for Hindi Serial lovers because you might get a chance to see a shooting. I was lucky enough to see a little of Kundali Bhagya. However it isn't guaranteed. The food tour is awesome for foreigners. Perfectly safe. My tummy was happy for days after! Best thing about this tour is that Sahil is a young and relatable guide which made the tour a lot lighter and more fun. Sahil and Hassan helped me find an ATM, which was helpful. Thanks for an unforgettable trip

Fun, fun, fun Bollywood tour. Live filming and friendly faces

A fun behind the scenes tour of a real, functioning Bollywood studios. We saw sets booked for regular filming, bespoke sets under construction, actual filming and some typical Bollywood dances performed just for us. Even though I didn’t know a lot about Bollywood films it was really interesting to see and have access to so much behind the scenes. The opportunity to take part in dancing and recording our own version of Yellow Submarine was the icing on the cake

A Mumbai exclsuive - where else in the world could you do this?

We very much enjoyed this tour - we learned a lot about Bollywood, the actors, the dances, the regions and the technology. We saw filming in progress and were able to watch bts. The tour was extremely comprehensive and great fun - highly recommended.

Discovering Bollywood

i lived in India for several years and i really like boolywood films..i was able to discover with Magica Tours Mumbaï, the studios and the construction of a film..The driver was perfect, the guide knew his subject well...But I'm disappointed, the studios don't concern big production films, sets, special effects... but only TV series.

Interesting Bollywood

The Bollywood tour was very interesting, especially the various recording studios. The highlight towards the end of the tour was the impressive dance performance by two very pretty couples. Neha, our guide, explained everything to us very well and gave us an insight into it. Overall, an experience that we would not want to miss.
