Really kind, although the National Park was closed on Monday and we went to the Vipassana Pagoda. Yet it was a little expensive.

Not recommended for those with knee & walking difficulties

The tour was very interesting arriving at the caves. Learned some background information & had a very knowledgeable guide. The problem was that 2 of the 3 in our group were a bit older & I currently am struggling with a bad knee. There was a fair amt of walking & many stairs to see the caves. It was also extremely hot! And we cut the tour short. Not their fault; just didn’t realize the difficulty.

Fun combination of history & nature

Great, informative, fun tour with Hardik & Ganesh as our guides. The sites provide a good background to understanding some of the history of India. We didn’t experience the Jain temple apparently due to being a Sunday but the Kanheri caves, national park & pagoda are worthwhile sites to visit with some wildlife spotting included, most notably the monkeys at the caves. The lions and tigers are unfortunately contained in small enclosures, especially the lion we saw, which was disheartening. I hope the national park can provide improved conditions ASAP!

Historic walk through the lungs of Mumbai

I had a blast exploring the Kenheri Caves, learning about Buddhist traditions and seeing the intricate chiseled sculptures!

A must see labyrinth of caves

The caves were amazing set in the hills. Over a hundred of them but you will explore a few. Saw wildlife in the park but didn’t do the lion safari or Jain temple, instead combined it with a trip to the pagoda on an island nearby via ferry. The guides were very informative.

Caves that is worth the trip from Mumbai

Amazing trip, the caves was definitely the highlight for us, as well as the Pagoda. Aadil was very helpful and made sure we were comfortable and happy the whole day.

Great tour of the national park

Our guide Rahul was great. We got to tour the national park. Visit the Buddhist caves with a local guide and see tigers. Would recommend.

Great layover experience in and around Mumbai

This tour was a great opportunity to experience both city and nature in and around Mumbai during a 15 hour layover at Mumbai airport. The team was very kind and flexible to adjust the trip to my needs. My guide Hardik was a very nice companion to hang out with. It almost felt like we knew each other from back in the days.

Don’t Overlook This Tour!

Don’t overlook this tour! Since I had already done Elephanta Caves as well as a city tour in Mumbai, I still needed to fill one of my remaining days in Mumbai. Doubted this tour at first, but it does not disappoint! My favorite part was definitely the Kanheri Caves. Fair warning, that it is a bit of a steep climb. I wasn’t aware of this, and while it wasn’t difficult, just want to err on the side of caution. Though, the guide was amazing, as she even did this in flats rather than sneakers.

Great experience at Sanjay Gandhi Park!

Had a great trip, saw the lions and tigers, went up to the top of the Kandheri excavations and visited the attractions in the park. The overall experience was great, especially the communication from the organizers. Special shout out to our guide Tasneem who provided extensive explanations and guided us very well through the trip.

Nice trip!

A very nice experience - enjoyable and insightful. The whole activity was very smooth, thanks a lot to Rahul who was my guide and the driver. Highly recommended for all Mumbai visitors!

Happy choice, informative and beautiful

Rahul was right on time and everything was great. A nice car ride to Sanjay Gandhi NP and we took bicycles for the 5k which added another unexpected mode of transportation to our travels. Incredible history explained in detail along with contemporary conversation about the news and life in India. Really a special day, enough so that I usually don't write reviews but here it is.

Amazing tour, great tourguide

The tour was amazing. Siddhi did an excellent job as the tour guide. With his vast knowledge about the caves and Buddhism in general he was constantly providing us interesting information. Besides the caves and the amazing amount of background knowledge, we saw monkeys in and deers in the park from very close and we could try fruits from the inhabitants of the park which we have never seen before (the palm fruit). At the end of the tour we also saw some really nice orchids in a special garden. I will definitely recommend Siddhi as a tourgauide and the tour itself!

Must see in Mumbai

A huge national park in the middle of one of the most densely populated cities in the world. The Kenheri Caves are thousands year old Buddhist temples and residences carved out of the rocks and are amazing. Our guide Rahul was excellent and fluent in English.

National pak + Pagoda tour

We had a full day National Park +Vipassana Pagpda guided tour. Ot was well organised, our guide Rahul was very friendly and told us a lot of interesting information about the caves, the parkbitself and temples. Both places are worth vising with a guide. Recommend to people first time in Mumbai or India in general. Rahul also told us a lot about life in Mumbai, answered all our questions. We had a great time with him.

amazing tour !

this was the best national park I have ever been to ! Rahul is such a great & helpful guide, he is very knowledgeable & has an outgoing personality. this tour took around 1.5 hours to drive to from the hotel area in south mumbai, but the travel is well worth it. there are wild monkeys which are AWESOME, the views & caves are amazing as well. thanks to Rahul ! 100% RECOMMEND THIS TOUR

Great morning outside the hustle and bustle of Mumbai

Lovely experience in SGNP. Caves were incredible and our guide was very knowledgeable and patient with our numerous questions.

Bad ass cave tour

Astonishingly beautiful and mind boggling. These cave are 5 or 6 thousand years old, still being uncovered, in the middle of Mumbai and really cool history with phenomenal views.

Sanje Ganti Nationalpark

It’s was very good tour, with a lot of information and a lot to watch. The Caves a highlight, also it’s possible to ride with the bike through the Nationalpark. To reach the pagoda you have to take the boat and that was a nice ride. The Pagoda us something you really have to see, it’s amazing. Rahul is a gentle and helpful person, would make a tour with him again!

If you have the time, take this tour

We enjoyed being able to explore with our guide Rahul who was outstanding. The caves are just extraordinary to see and learn about the people who carved them out. Afterwards we enjoyed an amazing lunch (not included but only cost $12 for 3 people) in the slum area that I would say was some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had (and I lived in London area for 6 hrs) if you’re looking for something a bit different, book this. You will be well taken care of and safe.

Fantastic Kanheri Caves with Rahul

We had a fantastic tour with Rahul to the Kanheri Caves at Sanjay Gandhi National Park. We were picked up at the cruise terminal by private car. Rahul was very knowledgeable and shared so much that we wouldn’t have been aware of if we had gone to the park on our own. He also shared so much about Mumbai and the rest of India. It was a great experience.

Wonderful tour

Everything was outstanding from the pick up to end. We walked all over the cave area which was fascinating and our guide Ruhal provided so much in-depth information that made it so real. You won’t go wrong with this tour or this company.

Kenheri Caves are spectacular

Wonderful day tour. The guide, Sidhhi, was a great storyteller and very knowledgeable. The caves were not crowded at all and it was great being out in nature. Do not skip!

Kenheri caves are Mumbai’s best kept secret

Traveling in summer has its advantages- had the spectacular kenheri caves practically to ourselves. The guide, Sidhhi, is a great storyteller and full of knowledge. I learned so much and really enjoyed the day.

Great experience

Had tours to Bollywood film studio, Dharavi, Sanjay National Park, Kanheri Cave and Jain Temple with Rahul and Divya and and great experience. Both guides and drivers are very helpful and friendly and always try to provide me with information. They are also supportive when I feel unwell and cannot make the tour as initially planned. These guys are very energetic, hardworking and having good attitude towards tourism service provision. I went solo and feel all safe and comfortable. Will surely choose them again next time coming back to Mumbai!

A cycling tour of the park

We spent a great morning with Rahul exploring the park on bicycles. (Cycling is completely optional.) Rahul is an excellent & informative guide & it was a very enjoyable tour. He will happily tailor it to suit your wishes. Highly recommended.

Sanjay Gandhi National Park - private tour

This was a perfect tour of SG National Park. Our guide, Rahul, was knowledgeable, pleasant and accommodating. We slightly customised our day by renting bikes and cycling up to the temples. Keep an eye out for the cheeky monkeys :-). 100% satisfied. Highly recommended.

So dope, great tour guides. Highly recommend for those who want a taste of Mumbai. The hot weather is easily combatted by the tour guides vast knowledge and interest in the slums.
