Responsive communications and flexible same-day reservation: I landed in Mumbai and checked in late afternoon at my hotel. Last minute, I decided to do a tour. Rahil and his crew responded within a couple minutes after I reached out. Communication was clear and they were super helpful from the get-go. They were able to arrange a city tour at night for me that started in 45 minutes! Pleasant company that made me felt safe: As a solo female traveler, I felt safe with Rahil and the team throughout my tour. Roosh picked me up at my hotel on time and had been a very pleasant and comfortable company. After dinner I later met Rahil, who did the wonderful tour for me. I also cannot count how many times they helped me with the traffic and just navigating the city in general. Customized itinerary: The tour covered major sightseeing spots in Mumbai and beyond, with things that I mentioned I was interested in seeing. They answered all the questions I had and even shared insights as actors and crew members in Bollywood! Heartfelt gestures: I saw on the brochure that lunch will be included and asked a couple times whether dinner was included if the tour started at night. They immediately picked up cues and customized the tour so that I could eat first, without me even asking for it. We passed by a flower market during our tour. I mentioned maybe I should try to pickup a bouquet for my friends that are getting married. To my surprise, after I picked one, they gifted me the bouquet as a kind gesture. There are multiple occasions like these that made me felt Rahil and the team were more than professional, but also very thoughtful, considerate, and experienced tour guides. TLDR: I would recommend Rahil and his teams! They really went above and beyond to make sure you have an amazing time!

Private Mumbai City Tour is the way to go

We usually book shore excursions through the cruise ship. This private Mumbai City tour had so many advantages over that. Our guide was wonderful and took us so many places! Devroop knows Mumbai well and showed us a wonderful variety of sights, and was very well informed, easy to understand, and all around delightful. The private tour with driver and guide gave us so much flexibility to stop and jump out of the car and visit places things-- Devroop would even take our photo. Then the driver would be right there to meet us to move on to the next stop with no worries about parking in the crowded city traffic (which our driver navigated smoothly and professionally). We loved the restaurant where we stopped for lunch. We saw and enjoyed so much more than we could have in a bus tour. What a great day in Mumbai!

Incredible experience!

Mumbai has so much

Listening to friends and reading about Mumbai before my visit, I realised how many interesting sites needed to be visited. This tour was a great fit. Rahil was my guide and he was so good at adapting ( I was running late but he simply adjusted times to suit me), explaining and keeping me entertained..even in traffic. There are so many highlights including the Dhobi Ghat and the lunch delivery guys, the Dabbawalas. Rahil knew them all and I soon found myself mingling with them and their packages. VT Railway Station (it has a new name now) and other colonial buildings together with the homes of the rich and famous appeared everywhere along with information. The list of sites goes on and on and thankfully no shopping stops but welcome chai and a very good lunch with local people. All was delivered with sensitivity and a very welcome sense of humour. Another wonderful day to remember.

So much fun; go at night

I went at night; it was cooler and the lights made for great photos. The driver and guide arrived on time to my hotel for pick up. The car was clean, cool and the driver was patient and skilled. My guide/mumbai host was amazing, talented and a fun person to hang with on this tour. There were so many things that we did and saw. My favorites: fire pan at the beach; street food snack; walk through spice market; gateway of India and a walk through the Taj hotel. We ate dinner at Cafe Metro. The food was great. My guide knows so much about the city, the culture and the sites. I only recommend if you want to have fun at a fair tour price.

Great Mumbai city tour.

What a great day. Our guide Tiger was great to be with and so friendly. The driver Anand seriously had the BEST vehicle - clean, large, new - with driving skills to match. It was a delight being on this tour. Would highly recommend to anyone. Terrific local lunch as well.

Lovely Mumbai

My mom and I visited and had Sanya as a tour guide. She is friendly and thoughtful , getting us fruit and a magnet, sharing insights about the culture, and offering to take many photos. She stayed 4 hours after the tour ended and was keeping us company at the mall. Sanya ensured we got to the cruise terminal safely. The lunch was a highlight, we were able to order whatever we wanted and each dish was amazing. We highly recommend any tour with Sanya!

You HAVE to go on this tour

This was easily the best day of our 6 day stay in Mumbai. The tour guides Rahil and Shoaib were fantastic. They extended the tour by 3 hours to show us more sights, were very knowledgable about Mumbai and spoke great English. They took us to each place safely helping us with small things like crossing roads, negotiating for souvenirs and even buying us drinks in a few places. Overall, we visited about 20 places over the day and got to experience all the main tourist places in Mumbai. Thanks very much guys we had a really really great day!

Mumbai city tour

We did a customised tour with Rahil & Shoaib. They added more stops that would suit our needs and what we wanted to see/do to ensure we had a thorough experience of Mumbai. Best Tour of Mumbai

Thank you to Rahil for organising a fantastic private tour for our group with the help of your colleague Shoaib. He was honest, transparent and a very friendly guide for us. Our time in the city was limited and though we had a tight schedule, you went out of your way to ensure we covered everything and more. We covered Siddhivinayak Mandir, Dhobi Ghat, Dharavi, Bandra/Bandstand, Church of Mother Mary, Mannat, Mumbai CST station, Mumbai's famous Dabbawallas, Churchgate station, Marine Drive, Kala Ghoda, Oval cricket ground, and even saw a few Bollywood shoots! The booking process was simple, Rahil and his team responded to us promptly, and arrived on time. The minibus was air conditioned and allowed us to stop for tea and snacks whenever needed! 10/10. Would highly recommend to friends and family. Good luck for the future.

Highly recommend tour 10/10

Rahil and Sho were both incredible. They spent time taking us around places we wanted to visit and planned accordingly to avoid sitting in traffic longer than necessary. They provided a very informative tour keeping us entertained from start to end. They arrived early and finished later than the timing the package mentioned! Great was to experience the cityb

It was some in our groups second tour with this company so we did a hybrid touristy and locals only highlights. Our guide (Sho) was fantastic! The flexibility of the company made an experience for us we will not forget. The lunch was the best meal we had locally! Would highly recommend!!!!!

We had a short stay in Mumbai and decided to book this Mumbai city tour because of the great reviews on trip-advisor. We had a great time and saw all the important tourist spots as well as some local attractions in Mumbai. It is such a lovely city with friendly people and Rahil Khan is the perfect ambassador to represent the friendliness of this beautiful city of dreams. I talked with Mohammed about what I was interested in seeing. We went everywhere the next day: the fish market, the meat market, the fruits/vegetables market, the cow shed, had a great lunch at Gaylords, Gandhi’s Mumbai residence, the outdoor laundry. What an education!

A memorable day with Rahil Khan in Mumbai.

Travelling all the way from New Zealand, it was our first visit to the city of dreams, Mumbai. We found Rahil’s Tour company on Tripadvisor as it had great reviews. We were pleasantly surprised to see that Rahil Khan, who is the owner of the company, himself had come as a tour guide. Thanks to him, our first day in Mumbai became our BEST DAY in our trip to India. In a short span of 6 hours, he showed us the entire city (the famous attractions as well as the hidden gems of Mumbai). We were overwhelmed with the friendly vibe and positive energy of the people of this amazing city. Rahil is such an easy going, friendly and humorous guy that we felt, we are with an old friend. Excellent experience!!

Excellent city tour. I felt very safe the entire time with my tour guide, Tiger and our driver. I was able to see much of Mumbai while riding in a pleasantly cool vehicle. Tiger also took pictures at each stop so I had memories to look back on from the tour. Lunch was fabulous and filling. I really enjoyed my time and would definitely recommend to others to book this tour.

If you can only do one tour in Mumbai, this is the one

It was a great tour from start to finish. West Bollywood Tours’ communications were excellent. I received all the details in advance on pick up time and location to meet and who my guide would be. I was picked up promptly and met my great tour guide, Tiger, and a really good driver with a clean, comfortable, air conditioned car. Tiger explained the plan for the tour to me and accommodated one thing I wanted to see that wasn’t planned. I saw so much, starting in the Bandra suburb which I would have missed, then going to the must see sights in the south. Saw locals parks with amazing views, the lunchbox delivery people, drove through Bollywood, Nariman Point, Marine Drive, Gateway of India, Taj Hotel, Churchgate train station, the laundry, the Hanging Gardens and more. A delicious Indian lunch, not too spicy, was included. But it wasn’t just seeing everything that made the tour great, Tiger explained all and filled in history and cultural details that made all the difference. He made sure I had the time I wanted at each stop and answered all my questions. He was always willing to take my picture. It was a super enjoyable tour where I saw and learned so much.

Great tour with Tiger!

Tiger was enthusiastic and proud to show us his city and country! He spotlighted the highlights and took us to the most wonderful lunch spot to really see locals having great local food. THe car and driver were clean, professional and A/C and felt in good hands among the Mumbai crazy traffic! Tiger was knowledgeable and great at helping take the best photos, we thoroughly enjoyed our tour with them.

This tour puts their customers above anything else. Rahil and Tiger was very accomodating and hands on with the tour. They are also very proactive in addressing problems during the tour which highlights the flexibility of this tour. (e.g. unexpected traffic The car was also clean and comfortable. Overall very satisfied with the tour and will book again next time I come to Mumbai.

Awesome Day with Tiger 12 September 2022

I really loved working with these guys. Excellent and timely communication from the first time they reached out to me on WhatsApp. I heard from them soon after I booked the tour. They were able to adjust the tour accordingly based on my personal interests. Unfortunately my time in Mumbai was limited so there was no way I would have been able to see so much in such a short period of time without them. Bandra, Colaba, Fort, Malabar Hill, Worli. They did an excellent job of giving me an overview of many different neighborhoods. Tiger is great at what he does. I appreciate how he was able to stay calm, roll with some changes and still manage to keep us on a reasonable schedule. I never felt rushed. He is a great photographer also! Enjoyed being able to experience local cuisine. I believe their pricing is very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend World of Bollywood India Tours to anyone. I will gladly use them again if I visit in the future.

Great guided daytrip for solo travelers

I booked the private city tour with lunch and transportation pretty short notice through Expedia. Despite the short notice (booked late night before) the team reached out to me early morning and coordinated hotel pickup. My tour guide was „Tiger“ and he had also arranged a driver for us. This is super convenient as we were able to explore while the driver would pick us up once done. Throughout the day this worked flawlessly. Water was also provided. Tiger was a great and humble guide. He provided great additional information, but most importantly he gave me the time to pause and just discover the areas we visited at my own pace. We choose vegetarian for lunch (included) and the restaurant was great. Tiger ordered 3 different dishes to try and all tasted very good. I also didn’t have any issues with my stomach later. There was a lot to see throughout the day with good variety (gardens, architecture, culture) and at the end of the day I was pretty exhausted - but I felt the amount of sights and the overall length was just right. The team told me that this tour wasn’t booked since quite a long time. I can recommend it for someone new to Mumbai. All in all I think this was great value for money and is a great option for someone like me who didn’t want to go and try explore alone.

I strongly recommend this tour! I’m a solo traveler and did the tour with Tiger(the guide). He was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The tour is very well planned so you get to see as much as possible within the time. The lunch was also very good, and the guide explained to me local Mumbai cuisine. Definitely worth it!!!

Top-notch tour!

I thought I might be jet-lagged and that, even if I weren't, I might struggle to navigate Mumbai, never having been to India before. I also wanted to get a good overview of the city. I thought a tour would address all these things. I researched the tours on Tripadvisor and elsewhere, looking in detail at the reviews. I discounted reviews complaining about things beyond operator control, such as the weather. I gave extra points for tour operators who followed up on comments. It seems that some operators write bad reviews on their competitors, so give credence when an operator says that someone wasn't on one of their tours. On this basis I picked World of Bollywood India Tours' Best of Mumbai tour. I had a really great time! Tiger, my guide, came into the lobby of my hotel to fetch me. He was very punctual. The car was waiting outside with the driver. Key point: from reading reviews, not all tours have a separate guide and driver, which will greatly affect the quality of the tour. The driver was calm and careful. He drove skillfully through many heinous situations. He was able to drop Tiger and myself off at each destination and pick us up later if parking was not available. This made us a lot more efficient. The car was comfortable, with AC and water bottles. We wore masks. Tiger got out at every stop and was very knowledgeable. He showed me videos as we were driving to give me a bit of extra information. He took the time to look up extra data on some of my more obscure questions. Between stops he pointed out interesting sights. He was very sociable and gave me insights into everyday life in Mumbai, so I got to learn a little bit about the people of the city in addition to the sights. He was very patient, so I had plenty of time. I asked to see certain things and he figured out how to fit them in. I would say I got as comprehensive a day-tour of the city as you could ask for. At lunch we went to a restaurant (Tiger gave me a choice) that was not a typical tourist place. They didn't speak English there, for example. We had a delicious meal that I can't imagine I would have discovered on my own. I'm uploading a photo of us at the table. The owner of the company called me up in the middle of the tour to see how I was enjoying it, and also as we were wrapping up, to see if I'd had a good day. I thought that was a really nice touch. He also sent me the pictures that Tiger had taken of our trip along the way. Tiger used my phone to take pics too. Like I say, fabulous, tailored to me, personal, great value. Great tour of Mumbai! See all highlights.

Great tour of Mumbai. Rahul is a knowledgeable and friendly host. We indeed toured all the highlights of the city in both south-, mid- and north Mumbai. During the tour there was enough time to do special requests. We also stopped by various places to make use of the restroom and to buy refreshments. At the end of the tour we had an epic diner at a popular open air foodcourt right at the beach. Everybody of our group was very enthusiastic and it was a relief to be able to tour again after the long period of covid….

Expert guide

Not your regular everyday tour...this tour is presented with heart and soul. Rahil our guide (and owner) is truly passionate about Mumbai and its glory and history. You are privy to an insider's view of the sights and sounds of Mumbai. Rahil is quite knowledgeable and offers insightful commentary; tour stops are flexible, so you're free to see what interests you most. Lunch was included, we ate at a restaurant that is definitely for locals (safe food preparation). If you're able to travel to India now, there's very little crowds; we never waited for entry any place. I strongly encourage coming to Mumbai and touring with Rahil.

Very nice city tour

We really enjoyed the tour with Rahil. He knows everything about the city and is very enthusiastic, listens to our needs and interests as well and improvises when necessary. (Toilet stops, money change). The food we had was really good, typical Indian style and place, lovely to see and join in. A good impression after one day with several different places. A must do!

Meet the best of Mumbai in a day in a comfy and safe way!

Great Mumbai sight seeing tour from the south to the north by an excellent, caring guide Rahil who can tell you lot’s about the city and its people. He takes you in an airco bus, together with a safe driver, to the city’s highlights and nicest area’s. Like a private hop on hop off bus, so convenient. Authentic Mumbai Experience

My coworker and I had a long layover in Mumbai and wanted to get out and experience the city. Bollywood India Tours was the perfect choice, they took care of everything and made for a fascinating experience. Our tour guide was a young gentleman named Tiger, very knowledgable and pleasant; he spoke very good English and was obviously incredibly proud of his home city. Talking with him in the cab between tour stops was one of the most interesting aspects of the entire tour. He showed us around and helped us make some spice purchases at the marketplace. Very upfront and honest, we weren't taken to his friend's shop for price gouging and kickbacks. Lunch was delicious. If you have a full day, and want to experience the highlights of Mumbai I highly encourage you to give this tour a try. Organizer was also very attentive and ensured all our needs were met.

Nice but not COVID proof

We were picked up at 15:30, we drove trough Mumbai and stopt at the train station for a picture, the laundry place and a cliff near the beach. The final stop was at a foodmarket. It is a nice tour to get a good impression of the city. As a tourist many local people came near for pictures and touched us. Normally I wouldn’t bother but know during COVID it felt unsafe. The foodmarket was extremely crowded, no distance, a lot of touching screaming people and children who keep following you, begging for money. The price of the tour was 50 euro per person. You pay for gas, the driver, tourgide and the food. We were with 11 people and maybe ate for 5 euro pp. It seems to me way to expensive

Great tours

I did this tour in 2019 but for some reason it didn’t save, great guide super friendly and helpful For a day in Mumbai we cover a lot and they were extremely accommodating, will definitively use them again highly recommended

Retro was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. He was energetic and passionate about his city. The van was comfortable and accommodated the 6 of us comfortably. We had plenty of time for photos and enjoy the sights without feeling rushed. There was also a good variety of places of interest so we were never bored. We also covered a lot of territory so we all felt we had a good feel of the city by the tours end.

Deserves more than just "Excellent"

Our guide, Devu, provided us with an outstanding experience of Mumbai. But the top rating of "Excellent" doesn't convey the how good the tour actually was. In addition to the stops listed, we requested two additional stops . WOB readily accommodated the request and without an additional charge. WOB knew that this was a shore excursion for us from a cruise ship. We told WOB and Devu when we wanted or needed to be back, and they added the two additional stops in plenty of time to board the ship before scheduled departure. Thanks for an outstanding experience.

The best tour I've ever had. Retro is a phenomonial tour guide. 5 stars and more. If your are ever in Mumbai do yourself a favour and enjoy a tour with these guys and see India through the eyes of the locals. Blend in with the organised chaos and truly feel the vibe of Mumbai. Mumbai full day tour

This was an amazing tour. There were many highlights and the tour guide Tiger was very friendly , an excellent guide. He was so organized and insightful. I was able to visit almost historical and cultural places in Mumbai within a day. As a solo traveller and having tight schedule, I rely on a trusted company that can get me safely to each corner of Mumbai. So I must say this is a trustworthy company. Honestly I cannot think of a way this tour could have been better. I was so well cared for and it is definitely and active tour around Mumbai.

I can give them 10 Stars very easily. There were 5 of us from South America and we booked this Mumbai City Tour with this wonderful and friendly and very helpful company. Our guide were both very kind and knowledgeable. They showed us full Mumbai in just 7 or 8 hours. The lunch was very delicious and included in the tour fee. They transferred us to another hotel free of cost even when were ready to pay extra. The air conditioned bus was very comfortable and spacious. All in all it was wonderful. We had complementary refreshments all the time. Highly recommend this company. They are the best in Mumbai.

Great experience on one day city tour

Had a great day out with my tour guide Tiger and our driver. They were both very courteous and friendly. Tiger was very knowledgeable and the tour was tailored to exactly the sites I wanted to see that was perfect. Had a great lunch at a local restaurant along with a delicious smoothie and ice cream. As a nice touch the owner of the company also called and spoke to me to see how I enjoyed the tour. Would highly recommend this tour company and Tiger is a true asset to the organisation.

Excellent tour

I would recommend this tour as it was a private tour so you could get to know the tour guide. Our tour guide called Devu was absolutely brilliant and very patient and knowledgeable with the history of Mumbai and the best spots to see. The other main benefit is that I think it was good value for money as we had a private tour booked for the whole day and lunch was included so the price was very good in my opinion.
