Bollywood and Slums Tour with Magical Mumbai Tours

We engaged Magical Mumbai Tours for us to tour the Slums and tour Bollywood… it was an exceptional experience for both of us from start to finish… we were picked up from our Hotel by our Guide Imran and Driver Ram and driven over to the Slums where Pooja was waiting to take us through the Slums… she was absolutely wonderful, was very supportive and assistive and provided us with her own personal knowledge of the Slums which was great. We then travelled with Imran and Ram over to Bollywood where we were provided with an exceptional tour of the Bollywood Studio including a couple of stages where productions were underway. Overall we really enjoyed our day out and have no hesitation in recommending Magical Mumbai Tours, Imran, Ram and Pooja to anyone who would like a great tour of the Slums and Bollywood.

the tour was great and all as expected. Hotel pick up at 10am worked well. Anthony was a great guide through the Dharavi Slum. The slum itself is a quite industrious and organized area, still working and living conditions remain poor and in obvious contrast to other parts of Mumbai. In the afternoon we have visited a Bollywood studio close to the airport with a nice tour through different sets and including a Bollywood dance performance. Mukesh was a great driver through the traffic jams, that are typical in Mumbai. We were back at the hotel in Colaba around 6pm.

Slum and bicycle tour

Fantastic experience! Especially the slum is a must-see. Your money goes to projects there and if you bring gifts and school necessities for the children, the guide hands them over immediately so you know things really come where they have to go. You are not harassed by beggars and people just except you warmly in their midst.

Was een hele mooie tour waarbij Dave heel veel informatie gaf over van alles en nog wat. Ik had een ander beeld van de slums en ik denk dat ik hierdoor een beter beeld heb gekregen.

Increíble. Mientras escribo esto están cosiendome un traje, para mí. Haría dos horas más de tour, muy muy didáctico. Toda la basura que tiramos (plástico, aluminio, cartón...) la recogen, la juntan, la seleccionan, la trabajan, la limpian, la deshacen, la rehacen y deja de ser basura. Nada que ver con lo que se pueda pensar. Me ha encantado este tour, y Dharmesh, mi guía, ha sabido responder a todas mis preguntas (soy muy curiosa, hago muchas preguntas) y me ha llevado por zonas que nunca habría podido conocer sola. Ha sido muy amable y me ha mostrado el verdadero Dharavi. Totalmente recomendable!! :D
