Wonderful day

We were in Mumbai for one day on a cruise and selected this tour. Our guide was Ankita Shah and she was wonderful! We easily understood her English and her knowledge of the city and all the sights was very helpful. She had surprise stops for us asking the way that added to our experience. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and she was able to adjust the tour to fit our limited time in port. Would highly recommend this tour.

Grand day out, in Mumbai!

Ankita arrived on time, she was very informative and flexible with the schedule, and we were vey pleased with our tour. She also provided help with purchases and support when negotiating with vendors. Overall a great experience!

Ankita was our guide and she was very attentive and informative, her English was extremely good which made it easy to understand the different places we visited. The tour was as advertised and we seen all the sites listed accept where we asked no to. Ankita also had a couple of surprises which were fantastic and unexpected. She also took us to a very authentic Vegetarian Indian restaurant for lunch which was delicious, clean and had air conditioning so the whole experience was just amazing highly recommend the private full day tour

Fascinating Mumbai

It was our first trip to Mumbai. The tour was amazing and we got to see a lot of places and experience the culture. The tour leader was very knowledgeable and friendly, he customized the tour itinerary as per our preference. The transportation was also convenient. In overall, it was a rich and enjoyable experience.

Great way to see Mumbai in one day

I did private city tour and really enjoyed the experience, can’t believe how many places I visited in six hours and learnt so much about the city, the history, the culture . The guide, Vikrant, is punctual, friendly, very knowledgeable , speaks very good English and even comes with cold bottled water, super helpful ( and thoughtful ) for a hot day . I also got to try some street food and chai with him. Liked it. If you don’t have time to plan ahead but still want to see many places, a private tour is really efficient. Strongly recommended.

Must do in Mumbai

We had a great tour in a comfortable AC car with an excellent driver and English speaking tour guide. We saw all the main sites of Mumbai and enjoyed listening to all the great history and information that Sameer has to hand about the city. Thank you for an excellent day. Would highly recommend.

Great value

Very informative, lots of patience and spoke very good English. We saw most of what we needed in one trip. It was a huge bonus having an air conditioned vehicle at our disposal.

Satisfactory full day Mumbai city tour

It was a fantastic tour today for us due to the professional job done by our guide mr Sameer who is also very kind,patient and caring. We went to the railway station and temples, and enjoyed a lot. Personally, i liked the local market more where i even bought two mangoes with the help of Sameer. The car is clean, which i appreciated. p.s. we also tried the vegetarian lunch at the temple restaurant, which were delicious. Will definitely recommend this company to other friends.

Mumbai tour worth of taking!

What an amazing tour Vikrant did for us! He is personable, fun, knowledgeable and absolute pleasure to spend day with and learn about Mumbai. He walked us through history of Mumbai, shared so many interesting facts applying them through true history and visit of places to reflect on it. We enjoyed every moment and every place we visited, temples were absolutely beautiful and spiritual, food was great, and we even did a metro ride learning about train station. We explored architecture and city view along the water, markets, and even played cricket!!!!! Thank you, Vikrant, for leaving only positive emotions, memories and experience for us till next time!

Mumbai city private tour

Sameer and his team were extremely accommodating, in that we requested an earlier than usual start. The tour highlighted the main features and sites of Mumbai. Sameer is extremely knowledgeable about his city and was willing to answer any and all questions. If you wish to have an introduction to Mumbai and only have a day free, I can definitely recommend this one.

Experiencing Mumbai in only 1 day

Samir was really great guide with lot of knowledge about his city! There have been some amazing spots in tour you even don’t imagine with nice surprises of local touch, as example train ride! Truly reccommend this tour to learn huge Mumbai in one day!

Our tour guide Vikrant is very knowledgeable about Mumbai’s past and present. He told us the historical facts of the city and the current projects and upcoming infrastructure improvement projects. He helped us with picture taking and enabled us to keep precious memories. I highly recommend to take this trip so you have an in depth understanding of Mumbai and India.

Vikrant was our awesome, English speaking, knowledgeable guide. We did a full day shopping tour where we felt like VIP's being doted on to our every wish. We got all the clothes, shoes and accessories needed for a wedding we were attending later in the week. We even went to lunch where he helped us to order several dishes to try, the restaurant was delicious. We had such a great experience that when we found ourselves with another day in Mumbai we booked him again! This time to tour the city and see the sights. I can't recommend this enough. He spent extra time with us, didn't make us feel rushed and listened to what we wanted to do, although it was best to just go with the flow. He was always on time and somehow the drivers he has were able to just drop us off and pick us up at our every whim with no wait time. Thank you, Vikrant!

Such a good day!

This tour was excellent - full of detailed information about everything. There was nothing our guide did not know!. Amongst other things we went to the Harry Krishna temple and learnt about their beliefs, the railway station - a fascinating hubbub of seemingly millions of people streaming on and off trains, the Ghandi museum where we saw artifacts and photos from which we leaned about his impressive life. We also visited the amazing hand washing area and wondered in the hanging gardens. Having been picked up from our cruise at the beginning of the day we were taken to our hotel near the airport at the end. A thoroughly worthwhile day which I recommend to all.

Excellent trip

We visited Mumbai on an overnight stop over and dooked the trip hoping to see as much as possible in a short time. We were not let down. What a a day. Full of surprises and cultural immersion. Our guide was excellent and spoke very good English and was able to deliver an excellent tour full of surprises. Our driver was very good. The roads were chaos but we felt safe in his abilities

Good short city tour and excellent guide.

Recommend to others as good knowledgeable guide in such a busy city. Worth noting that much of the time is sitting in traffic.

Great sightseeing tour hosted by Sameer! Sameer was very good in telling all kinds of historical information, from temples to Ghandi to the Brits. I learned a lot af the history of this city & country. We has the tour on Saturday, that was a good choice, much less traffic then during weekdays.

This is our first ever review after countless tours around and about. We were inspired to write this following a wonderful tour today. Sameer, who we found to be both professional and courteous with a wealth of local knowledge. We visited all the sites as advertised and more not on the list. We never felt rushed at any point, It was all at our pace. The Gandhi museum and the temples are a must see Thanks again Sameer. The car with A/C and the driver were also “spot on”

If you have a stopover in Mumbai or a day to spend, this is the right option. Well designed itinerary, with the team of Sameer (the guide) and his driver working in perfect coordination. A suitable selection of UNESCO sites, temples and local flavors, including delicious street food. The guide speaks perfect English, is very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and kind.

Worth every penny.

This one was the peak and highlight of the tours we had during this trip to India. I think it was by luck that we had this wonderful tour guide Sameer. He is very knowledgeable, educated and professional. Very accommodating and in a matter of minutes could figure out our interests to shift the direction of the tour to make it even more interesting for us. We strongly recommend this tour and this guide.

Great trip, well worth the money

Our guide Sameer was very informative and took an interest in the things we wanted to see. We got to visit all the things we wanted to see on this trip to Mumbai. Which was all the usual things and for us no visit to a market, even though Sameer asked us twice if we wanted to visit the market. But as it was the usual very hot day and we had a flight to catch that night we declined the market visit. We would thoroughly recommend this trip. You get to see things you expect to see and some things we didn’t even know existed.

Best guide ever

Our guide as best ever. She told us things of the city and of being Hindu we had never understood or imagined. Highlight was when she got us into a Hindu temple for a full and complete service led by a Monk. It was a wow.

The best way to do sightseeing in Mumbai!

Worthwhile comprehensive Mumbaii tour.

Our guide Ankita was terrific in showing us all the places on the itinerary and providing interesting facts and background. The itinerary is very diverse in covering architecturally significant buildings, monuments, the unique massive open air laundry, Hindu, Krishna and Jain temples, parks, a beach, and a market. Ankita was patient and helpful when we wanted to take extra photos. Also because it was a Saturday and not too crowded she took us on a short commuter train ride as a bonus. She also selected an excellent restaurant for lunch (not included with the tour price and so we paid).

Highly recommend. Great team, interesting and informative tour.

At our request, we started later than the planned 9 AM. Still, Vikrant and Niti managed to show us almost all the points of interest mentioned in the itinerary. Vikrant was very personable, knowledgeable and friendly, and was open to any requests we made. Niti negotiated the crazy Mumbai traffic safely and efficiently. Overall, we had a great time and highly recommend their tour.

High quality day tour with Sameer

Sameer provided us with an excellent high-quality day tour of Mumbai in the end of December 2023. We had a long stopover in Mumbai and decided on a tour of the city with pickup and dropoff at the airport. Sameer and his driver were waiting for us at the airport when we arrived at around 8am. He brought us to many sights in the city, always considering our preferences and trying to provide a wide range of sights (colonial buildings, temples, cultural sights, etc). He always walked our family through the sites and carefully explained about them and provided interesting anecdotes related to them. Water was provided throughout the day. After completing our tour, we were dropped at the airport at 5pm as planned. All was perfect from beginning to end, and we got to enjoy the main highlights in Mumbai thanks to this tour and Sameer’s support. Thanks!

Ok trip - good guide but trip not 8-10 hours only half of that

Tour was not 8-10hours as advertised but actually about 4.5 hours door to door / we originally asked why it said 8-10 and was told this takes into account traffic and if your hotel is a long way from the centre. Upon checking (afterwards) there are actually the same tours that say half day for half price that do the same thing. The actual guide arrived at 9am and was very friendly and knowledgable so could not ask for a nicer guide. The driver was also friendly - car was clean and had AC So overall had to rate this as an average trip due to expecting more and the cost compared to others.

Great tour!

The tour was great! Mr. Sameer was very attentive and knowledgeable. He took great care of my grandmother (she uses a wheelchair and Mr. Sameer made sure to include her and made it comfortable for her). The temples were impressive. Great tour! Would recommend!

Many highlights on this tour!

Samir was an amazing guide! On every location he brought us to, he brings a piece of Mumbai to us through stories and the place comes alive. We went to so many locations I know we would’ve taken 3 days if we did it on our own. I told Samir the highlight of my trip was the temple visits but as I’m writing this I think it was the train ride- especially the part he taught us how to hang out of the doors like a local. There are just too many highlights, I can’t decide!

Mumbai is the second most popular city of india. It is also known as bollywood city . People come from different cities for job. Mumbai has many great location, the famous gateway of India, taj hotel, juhu beach, mumbai darshan etc. Mumbai has many mode of accessibility from railway to airway.

Amazing and enjoyable day in Mumbai

Such an amazing tour! Sameer told a lot of stories and historical facts about places we visited. I saw so many places I read about. The best part was that Sameer new exactly where to go and what to do. I mean if I was touring these places by myself, I'd have seen 50% at best! He also helped with lots of questions I had about Mumbai - a day spent with a local guy was super informative. The car was clean, the AC worked fine, overall great experience! I do recommend this tour.

Mumbai day trip with Vikrant at Shreeje Tours n Travels

Hari and Vikrant were great tour guides (and amazing drivers) for the day. They took us through all of the main sites of Mumbai. Vikrant was very knowledgeable about the history and sites of Mumbai. We really enjoyed the train ride, which was an unexpected add-on. Another highlight was the Ghandi museum. We saw several temples, and the laundry, which is a must see! Vikrant was great with both the history and culture of Mumbai and its place in India.

Great day Trip in Mumbai

This is a great day excursion where you go to the most interessting places in Mumbai. Our tour guide took us on a train ride in Mumbai! We recomand this tour! We were dropped off ontime at the cruise terminal.

Absolutely superb trip. Jigna and the driver knew everything and everywhere in Mumbai. They took us to many of the sights and a couple of places we wanted to see including Fashion St. Nothing was to much fuss. We visited a lovely restaurant at our request. They advised us if one. Food was excellent and so cheap!..We booked a 6 seater for 2 of us due to late flight and they were able to accommodate us so we had no issues storing luggage. We added an airport drop for £20. Most other company’s wanted £30 minimum. Cannot rate this family company highly enough… Excellent VFM 😁

See Mumbai like a local

Mrs Ankara met us at the cruise terminal gate after a panic 10 minutes of chaos!! Mumbai is very chaotic!! She took us around the centre to many places we wouldn’t have known about or visited on our own. We went for a train ride & back, then to local temples hidden down side streets. The main tourist attractions were visited- Marine Drive, with the “Queens necklace “ , hanging gardens & The Oval. We asked to go to the Taj Mahal after visiting the Gateway of India & it was fabulous- one to add to the itinerary! We didn’t see any slums or the outdoor laundry- which was a shame, but it was a good tour & we felt confident in our guide. I would recommend this tour- even though it’s expensive for Mumbai- worth it for the extra security and comfort.
