The caves were amazing!! Definitely a must see. My guide (Jaya) was extremely knowledgeable about Elephanta, Mumbai, and India. Had a great time as she shared her experiences and the area with me. 10/10 recommend!

Worth the visit and a nice ferry trip too

Really nice day visiting Elephanta Island. I was collected from where I was staying amd then we went to look at the Gate of Bengal. After this we caught the ferry which was a nice trip to the island. There, a local guide talked me through the background and was very informative. Negotiated prices for some of the tourist bits to take home- a lovely day all in all
