Visit to The Mahalaxmi Dhobi Ghat (Open Air Laundry) This is a 138 year old open air laundromat. This is the few surviving traditional commercial laundry. The washer-men are known as Dhobis' they work in the open to clean and dry clothes. Later Visit to Dharavi slums in Mumbai the DHARAVI it’s one of the most vibrant centres for extreme entrepreneurship on our Planet. It has a large number of thriving small-scale industries that produce Plastic Recycling, export quality leather goods, pottery, embroidered garments and many more. Most of these products are made in tiny manufacturing and sold in domestic as well as international markets. Most of these things are created innovatively, in a very small space. We will visit commercial and residence area of Dharavi. Will also provide refreshment between the tour, so you dont feel tired and dehydrated.

Dhobi Chat and Dharavi slum tour

Enlightening and engaging view of Dharavi

Rakesh the guide was what made this excursion, his level of knowledge was outstanding, he had a great attitude and you could tell he genuinely enjoyed his job as a guide, when family and friends visit Mumbai I usually arrange a slum tour, this is the third and the. Best I have done, I am really happy to recommend Rakesh as a guide and will use him again myself

ガイドさんが私達の英語レベルにあわせて、簡単な単語を使ってくれたり、ゆっくり説明してくれたので、わかりやすかったです。また、冗談のわかる方で非常に楽しいツアーでした。本来は10時からのツアーでしたが我々の要望に答えて9時からに変更していただけたので非常に助かりました。次回ムンバイに行く機会があれば、今回のガイドさんにまたお願いしたいと思います。
