World Class Bollywood Tour Experience

Fantastic experience for our students from NYU. Rahul Sharma was a great tour guide and Jtin Gopal was great with coordinating our trip. It truly was an exceptional experience.

Good Tour

Rahul gave me an excellent experience in Bollywood. I toured the studios and saw live actors as they were being filmed. I felt like part of the back screen crew.

Bollywood Studio Tour

Tour did not add enough value for its high price unfortunately. Guide was enthusiastic and tried hard to make the most of its scope and the content but overall, it overpriced. Disappointing as the other Mumbai tours I took were great.

Friends group visit at the studio Feb 2024

This was a last minute great idea, everyone in our group was happy with our time spent at the studio. Gurmin,our guide, was very accommodating , not only he anticipated that the driver won’t know for sure where to stop and he come and guided him but also guided us through various parts of the studio showing us différent sets, explaining hidden details, gave insights on the shows being filmed as well as recommended us series we could check. We all heartedly recommend this tour for anyone who is interested in knowing more about Bollywood and also wants first hand experience, not just a drive by with a bus.

Great Bollywood behind the scenes experience

Enjoyed a behind the scenes tour of the filming of a few different Bollywood soap operas. The bright coloured outfits and filming sets were great. An enjoyable experience.

Amazing Experience!

We did the Elephanta Tour and Bollywood tour. Both were pretty good, the guides that helped us in each one of them, Siddhi and Shoaib, respectively, were very nice and kind! Also, Sonali who was in the administrative side were very helpful to adjust the tour and offer the best experience to us.

Great Tour

We really enjoyed this tour! Seeing live filming was such a cool experience. We had a lot of fun at the recording studio where we got to sing some Bollywood songs!

Gurmit is a great guy for a cool experience, however wouldn't recommend this company because of bad communication

We did a bollywood studio tour experience with Gurmit. Gurmit was very nice, knowledgeable and fun. In the car we drove past a celebrities house, we drove through the actors neighbourhood. Once arrived we saw live shooting which was really cool, we went to a dubbing studio and we saw a live hollywood dance. Afterwards we had a choice for lunch, we went with typical Indian food that was very good. It was a really cool experience, but I am not sure I would repeat with this company. The communication is really bad beforehand (not Gurmits fault) making our experience less fun. For example, I clicked the starting time 09:00 for the tour, to be back at the hotel by 14:00. The day before I received a message that we would get picked up by 10:00? What the hell? So when I pointed this out, the answer was that the studio wouldn't be open, but 09:30 was fine. Once we were picked up we were told that if we had to be back at 14:00 we would miss the bollywood dance.. So by being flexibles ourselves we did manage to see the bollywood dance. But it is really bad that a tour offers different starting times, that apparently aren't correct. And it turns out, the studio was open! Also, because we left later we were stuck in a lot of traffic, so for us it felt like the tour was mostly in the car..

The ugly on the earth really were evil hearted experience. Beaty on the outside is ugliness unless you hold it within.

Tuk tuk ride and city ride home was the best part. Actresses looked like they walked off a set from hell they looked so mean. Promised tour of star homes and dairy and they weren’t going to do it. Had to argue to a belingerant owner. Website option misleading. Read as included city tour I. Drop-down. You need to have English scholars proof your webpage or you can be sued for misleading advertising.

Amazing experience

The Bollywood tour was amazing! Shuaib was the best tour guide and had a vast amount of knowledge of what happens behind the scenes. He explained everything in detail and was very polite, funny and friendly. We watched live filming, saw multiple set ups, props etc and we also had a session in the sound recording room and had a chance to record a song. I would highly recommend the tour and will definitely book it again when I am in Mumbai again :)

Behind the Scenes!

Divya was the best tour guide! We started out with the Elephanta Caves which were incredible. But Bollywood studios was an absolute gem of a tour. I had no idea what I was in store for but being behind the scenes was a blast. I would go one both tours again!

Our guide Kamlesh and driver Abdul were wonderful. It was a brilliant tour and highly recommend the Bollywood and slums experience. We saw so much more than we expected. Thank you!

For one day - a star in Bollywood!

Finaly this year my dream come true! Through Bollywood-Tours I could make a unique timetravel through the indian cinema! I booked the big Bollywood-Tour! I can recomand it to everyone. The privat guide with the a special car-service takes everywhere arround, seeing special and unique things!

Trip to the Bollywood Studios

It was really nice and informative. And Mr. Kamlesh was very clear in all his explanations. We went to some studios and we could watch some Soap Operas being shot. Also I got a view in how the recordings are being done.

Rahul was a wonderful guide. He knew a lot about the industry and we enjoyed watching live filming of different shows. A ‘must do’ when in Mumbai.

Easy, hassle free and a great insight

Great trip with Rahul as our guide and Acehchlal as our driver. They were friendly and attentive and also shared experiences and local knowledge throughout the day 👌 From the start we were told how the day would run and what experiences we would have. It was a private tour out of season so we were the only people there which added to a more authentic immersive experience. We sang our own song in a recording studio and had a private dance show with different cultural dances, whilst learning about the history of bollywood and its role within Indian culture. We moved about the sets and we're able to see some live shooting and the complexities with it. It gives you an idea of the industry and a better understanding. Great to experience, punctual pick up time, smooth from start to finish and hassle free. The food at the restaurant they took us to was awesome. Recommend this trip if you want to understand a little bit of bollywood.

Great moment

It's was great experience! It was very nice to see all the shooting. I do recommend a visit to the studios. If you can get the full package with the dance will be nice.

Better then Hollywood

Good overall

Good overall, and the guide and driver were excellent. Was wonderful to see different parts of the city, learn its history, and getting around was easy. The studio section was good, but a bit of a let down. Was nice to see them building sets, but it was mainly looking at a couple videos showing no ow the locations were used, a room that somewhat showed the history, and walking around often used sets. Was hoping for a little more history and other activities, and it was quite short at about 25-30 minutes for the studio section

Great tour

Roy was a great guide on the Bollywood tour, we even got to join the soap series as actors, Roy introduced the whole area patiently while telling us about the actors and the making of the film

Best experience

This was an awesome experience! Rahul was very knowledgeable about Bollywood history and all key actors. Again, lol!!!

Great organization, fairly good tour.

Nice dubbing studio and presentation, entertaining amateur dance show. The 3D cinema was very cheap though. Overall, I think it is not worth 35 euros but rather 15. Not everything was translated but overall tour was good 👌 The guide was very friendly. I would rather recommend the tour organizer who was great in organising my taxis and the tour making sure I'm safe.

Great Studio Tour Experience

Fantastic experience with Kamlesh. We were very happy being able to customize the tour to our interests. We learned a lot on the tour and we were very excited to see a short segment of filming for a TV show. We absolutely recommend this experience.

Unique experience

It was an awesome experience! Very flexible with the schedule but organized as well. Great way to immerse yourself when it comes to Indian film industry.

A Stellar Experience

I initially didnt think much of this tour because I have never ever watched anything from Bollywood. However, this tour turned out to be the highlight of my entire visit to Mumbai. Apart from the usual tour agenda of showing you how movies are made and how the staged the sets, I was actually one of the lucky ones who got a small cameo role in a scene because the scene required some smoke and it so happens that I was the only person with a vape smoking device (illegal in India by the way). The ultimate icing on the cake is when I was given the opportunity to record my own singing in a bona fide recording studio. One of my childhood dreams finally fulfilled in a tour I didnt initially want to join Last but not the least, our tour guide, Mr, Kamlesh Pramar, is extremely affable and friendly guy who knows alot about the Bollywood inside scoops which made him the perfect host for this tour.

Watch Bollywood series being made

We went with rain and the tour was great. We saw actors, runners, camaramen, directors, etc; all working while we watched. The studio is great, with mansions, jails, hospitals used in series and Bollywood movie. Jaya was nice and gave us a lot of information about Mumbai and Bollywood.

A memorable experience behind the scenes.

A truly memorable experience at a movie studio. We really enjoyed the in-depth look behind the scenes of the sets, props and actors filming their scenes for a popular television series. We also had the chance to meet some of the actors on the set. Jayashree gave us an excellent tour showing us around the different sets for the scenes, and also made sure that we were comfortable and gave us detailed info about the way things work there. The song recording in the sound room for us was a pleasant surprise and we had a great time overall. Highly recommended.

Amazing Mumbai!

First part of our tour was the Elephanta Cave. That was very special for us, sacred place and wonderful experience. The second part of the tour was Bollywood experience. Was totally fun, we danced, saw the performers in action and even recorded a song! Lol it was great!

Gurmit is the nicest guy ever, spoke very good english, has a lot of knowledge and is super nice. The tour is incredible and very cool, you can actually take part of a film or tv show

Amazing Tour of Mumbai - not to be missed

This is an amazing tour. Our guide Ms. Jayshree is an excellent guide. First we toured the city and Ms. Jayshree took the time to show us all the key lamdmarks of Mumbai. She is a very warm, friendly person who takes the time to explain everything in detail. Upon our request, she included a stop at the Chowpatty beach and also took us on the Bandra Worli Sea Link. Next we went to a movie studio. We watched a TV serial shooting, we met and took pictures with one of the lead actors and we recorded a song in a bollywood studio. All in all, it was a great experience and a great value for money

I got to watch TV drama being shot. An authentic experience.

I was shown around the sets and I got to see live sets where they were filming a TV hospital drama and a promo video for a new drama. My guide was really lovely and spoke excellent English. I found the whole thing very interesting and would recommend it. I was told that Monday is usually the day off for the actors and dancers, so that I normally would be taught dance moves and get to take pictures with well known actors, this might have been disappointing if I was especially looking forward to that, and wasn’t mentioned in the advert, but honestly I enjoyed the authentic feel, as I was the only tourist there

1h stop at Bollywood

It was an interesting experience to visit SJ Studio. There where 2 films carried out production and many actors moving around. I recommend to come over for a quick tour if you have some spare time. Location close to airport. Guide speaks English very little but enough to catch the points. Thanks for having me 😊

Worth a visit!

Very well organised tour. Friendly and efficient staff. Bollywood is well worth a visit. Expensive for Mumbai but they get you into places that you cannot get into by yourself.

Exciting!!!!!!

We visited a studio and got the chance to see recording of a music video and a soap opera, it was wonderful. It was nice to hear Indian music and see them dance. The tour guide was very friendly, gave a good background history of bollywood and also took us to see some where some stars live. The pick up was clean, spacious and fit our requirement. Thank you.

A complete and very interesting experience

I was able to experience how Bollybood studios work. I had already been to Hollywood and it was entertaining to appreciate the differences and similarities of the two most important film industries out there.

Better than movies!!!!

My group and I enjoyed so much in this tour. We saw different set-ups, traditional dancings and we even got dressed with their costums. Thank you!!!!

We got to see Bollywood actors

I had so much fun seeing Bollywood. We got to see how they record some series, we had dancing classes and we got to record a song. Highly recommend.

Asmita was amazing!!!!

My tour was overall amazing! My guide Asmita was very organized and very knowledgable. She showed me the ins and outs of the studio and told me a lot about the history of Bollywood! I would definitely recommend this tour!!

Bollywood studio tour

Asmita was our host and she was brilliant ! Couldn’t be happier with the tour. We actually expected less. Great work!

Waste of money!

Guide showed little interest and wasn’t very informative in the short 45 minutes we were there. Guide was on his phone several times during the tour whilst showing us around. I told him to put his phone away! Will be asking for a full refund. We had to make our own way there which wasn’t very convenient considering the price we paid. The guide that was supposed to show us around never appeared and the manager had to show us around

Bollywood Tour

We had a great day on our tour with Suraj!! We booked a last minute Bollywood Tour and were picked up from our hotel 90 minutes after booking. Suraj showed us the sights of Mumbai on the way to our Bollywood locations. We had a great time touring film and TV sets, and even seeing a live Bollywood filming! Our highlight of the day was a Bollywood dance performance, and getting to join in on the fun and learn the moves! Thanks Suraj for a great day - you went above and beyond to show us the sights! A real highlight of our time in Mumbai!
