Life changing tour

This was an unbelievable experience. The tour led by Rahul through his home of Dharavi is an experience i will never forget and can hardly describe. We wanted our 3 western kids to see how people live differently in a different country to Nz. We were amazed by the entire experience. The largest slum in India is a vibrant, compelling illustration of discipline, sacrifice, innovation and resilience which is surely unique among human kind. Not to be missed this experience can change your life. and it absolutely requires a skilled professional guide which mr Rahul certainly is. Being a Dharavi native he can show you what so few can from the outside. It’s literally beyond words . . .

It was an amazing experience . My guide Kamlesh really showed everything. I was very impressed. The slum are a hole community. They got factories , houses , stores!

Lets talk slum tours

I am not intending to harme this tour guide , thus the excellent rating ... I want to talk to the tourist here. I have spent 3 years on the ground in India. You do not need a guide for the slums... instead spread your money around with the poor... really if you see the poor as an attraction there is something wrong in your own soul ..., I am happy to see this particular guide is well resepected .... but really? you need to tour pour people to entertain yourself and have stories to tell then take measure of your self. We visited slums on our own ... take some street smarts ...take some compassion they are the communities on thier own of humans just trying to make it through another day....

Great experience

This tour was a great experience to see the basic Mumbai tourist spots before venturing out on your own. Lawrence was the perfect guide - friendly, talkative and knowledgeable. He allowed for flexibility on the tour and pointed out a good lunch spot and another for purchasing souvenirs. I highly recommend him!

To whom it may concern, I had an impression there will be a train ride but there was not included in the tour. Was it my misunderstanding? Date of my tour was Feb.17th., 2020.

Private tour

I had a one day tour of Mumbai. The driver, Satya, picked me up from my Airbnb in Navi Mumbai. We collected the guide, Vishal, once we reached Mumbai. Both were helpful and courteous and Vishal was knowledgable and personable. It was an informative, interesting day and on the way they stopped, off spec, to show me tea being made on the street (delicious) and even advised me on the nicest bathroom to go to. I was on my own and felt well looked after and both were excellent companions on my days tour.

Mumbai tour

Excellent tour with our guide Rahul and our driver Akshay. They showed us highlights of Mumbai city, including dabbawala , dhobhi, dharavi slum. They were on time to pick us up, traffic of Mumbai was trying and we would have missed the dabbawala tour but they did their best to make sure we get to see the concept! They worked so well together! We had an amazing day. Thank you Rahul and Akshay for a good day and showing us Mumbai! Highly recommend. Very knowledgeable!

Awe inspiring visit with an excellent guide.

Our guide was Sunil who was excellent and very informative. We were out for over 7 hrs with our driver and guide and thoroughly enjoyed this varied cultural experience. Sunil was likeable and respectful and with first hand experience of the slums this was probably the highlight of the trip. Totally different to my expectations in a positive way. Of all my city tours this was by far my favourite.

Fantastic tour and guiding

Spent a full day sightseeing Mumbai + visiting Dharvani yesterday. A well spent day with excellent guiding from Rahul Devaliya. I work as a CEO in a Swedish municipality and Rahul really helped us understand everything from leisure to work-related questions ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ fantastic!

Informative Tour

I was a single woman wanting to see Mumbai and felt completely safe with my tour guide and driver. Not only safe but excellent information on each site and as we were driving. The hanging garden needs to be explained. I have a new perspective of what the slums really are. Our tour guide grew up and still lives in the slums and his view was very interesting and authentic. To him the slums are the middle class. You have a home in Mumbai. There are homeless too - they are the poor people. Walk through the slums for an appreciation of the hard working people they really are. Bollywood Tours is a recommended company to use!

Excellent experience

We join this tour in our first day to Mumbai. Sunil Chettira is our tour guide of the day. The tour start 9.30am and he and the driver arrive at our hotel 9.25am. First we go to floating garden, then we visit Ghandi house, follow by Dabbawala lunch box transfer near Victoria train station. In the afternoon we visit Dobhi Ghat and the Dharavi. Sunil speaks very good English so there is no problem in communication. He also very knowledgeable and not only able to explains all the places throughly and he is able to answer any questions asked. Bottle water was provided throughout the tour, not sure by the company or the courtesy of Sunil. He also offer extra help such as bring me to local costume shop upon my request, help us to buy fruits from local stalls, translate when we need to buy souvenirs, find us guy who bring us into Dobhi Ghat upon our request (with extra charge from that guy), and assist us to solve our SIM card problem from Airtel shop ( which is when our tour finished). Overall, we enjoy the day a lot, if you looking for a one day complete tour in Mumbai and have the above experience, I will highly recommended this company and Sunil.

We were in Mumbai for a business trip. For half a day we have been around with the tour guide Rahul Devaliya. Rahul is a very friendly person and he knows something about every single corner of this huge city. We had an interesting and stressless tour, it was our big pleasure!

Private city and slum tour in Mumbai

RAHUL was our guide. It was a very informative tour. He had time to answer our questions and take time in explaining things. Took us to the slums, hanging gardens, Ghanaian house to name just a few. I recommend Rahul for a tour that we booked with cruising excursions. We were a group of 7 and all of us were very happy with this tour.

Very interesting and diversified Mumbai City tour

A very interesting and entertaining day-trip which shows the different facets of the city: Sights like the big station and the Gateway of India, a recommendable boat tour, marine drive, hanging gardens, the big laundry and other sights. And then a footwalk through the Dharavi Slum. Very competent guide, including an additional German guide. This full day tour is very recommendable!

Mumbai-Tour

Die Tour war technisch einwandfrei vorbereitet und durchgeführt. Der Guide war kompetent bei Fragen zum Lebensumfeld und Alltag der Bevölkerung und führte uns auch in weniger zugängliche Bereiche der Slums. Bisweilen zog er sich auch zurück und ließ uns allein (Ghandi-Haus, Cafe...). Sein Engagement war Ok, mehr aber auch nicht. Insgesamt waren wir mit der Tour zufrieden.
