It was a good ride and the driver was waiting outside with a sign that had my name…I only wish this included the visa entry stuff cuz the line was too long lol

Driver was friendly but not personable. Not much conversation. He was patient when the resort couldn't find our reservation to let us in.

Fabulous time

BOMB.COM….. Let me start by saying I had a wonderful time. The food in the buffet was actually incredible , the specialty restaurants not so much, especially Italian could use some work steakhouse was OK. The Jamaican cuisine in the buffet was incredible. The staff very friendly there were a few exceptions. I won’t call them out by name, but I will call out ,the ones that made my trip shantelle , at the front desk was amazing. She treated me like her mom. Her auntie ,Winston at my favorite bar was the most polite and respectful young man I have ever met, we enjoyed sitting with Dr. Phil that was his name on his tag every morning for breakfast and lunch. It was exciting and he made us feel like family but the activity crew thumbs up to them they were the bomb.com. They kept it going made it exciting and fun. I enjoyed them to the fullest and please forgive me. The young lady that cleaned our room so well every day God bless you I met the general manager, Alba, delightful young lady. I told her there were some small changes that needed to have been made like the room service menu needs to be increased and my favorite bar over near the pool snack bar needs an upgrade. and please forgive me. The snack bar needs a upgrade on their menu as well , but most importantly, I think the palace needs an upgrade. It was not pleasing to the eye. It looked really rundown in the quarters in the rooms were kind of outdated, but everything else was fabulous. I really had fun. I recommend it if you’re 60+ stay at the palace and visit Montego Bay and reggae. The parties never stopped there and it was exciting to see but just too much for me. Enjoy..

A dream for the young at heart!

If you are looking for non-stop High Energy Adult Entertainment, Amazing personal service from Staff & Beautiful clean accommodations/grounds, THIS is your dream come true. A 5 minute drive from the airport is just the icing on the cake. Food & Drinks are deliciously plentiful but the Staff interaction was extraordinary. All of our group would go back in a hot minute. Thank you Sylvia, Dimples, Usain, Crystal, Amanda…and so many more for helping us create awesome memories. By the way, our group is on the senior side age wise & the noise didn’t bother us a bit.

I first want to start off with saying I booked a round-trip both drivers I had were unprofessional and the first initial driver was very rude ! We sat in an awkward silence the whole 6 mins to the resort (which I guess is not really not his job but we are coming to new country why not be welcoming ? ) this service lied about having red stripe for us upon arrival. Then the dispatcher told me I couldn’t push my pick up time back to the airport 30 mins . let’s be mindful the airport was 5 mins away and my flight was not until 1:30 but yet he picked me up 9:55 !

Presidential Services

Excellent Service! The Driver was really pleasant and interesting. He made us comfortable. We were a group of 6 and we felt that we are home. The company (dispatcher) also was so nice to answer to our question and to give us directions. For sure we will do business with them again. This is VIP Service!

Entertainment Crew 100%

The welcome 3/5, it was around dinner time. Bell hop did not help us to our room which was difficult to get to, and no elevator access to our room only stairs. Entertainment Crew at the Reggae made you feel welcome. Shoutout Afro, Lily, Reggie, and Dimples. There is two others, but don’t remember the names 😂. Restaurants the buffet and Bamboo were my favorites too choose from. Room service 3/5 again I had to order extra towels a few times, a room for 2 should be stocked with 4 towels instead of 2, because you shower multiple times a day. Not once a day, from swimming and the heat. Shuttle service was great too see a little more off the resort mainly for shopping with some locals. Would I come back? Definitely

An ideal reggae party!!

Absolutely great family holiday . Everything was great!Entertainment team.. Colours and Spade and the Michael Jackson show .. dancing on point!! Went here in June 23 and just come back from a sandals September 23 and this blows it out of the water! Not perfect but great! One thing tho it does not have a cash point even though it’s advertised on site . The ATM is off site and at times not the greatest place to go to.. so come cash ready .. most things are in US Dollars but carry some JA dollars for the traders or even the bar staff .. minimum 2 JA dollar tip for bar staff and 1 in US dollar.. I would request a Likkle more reggae at times as it can get a little RnB and Rap heavy when there are American holidays as only 2.5 hrs from their mainland .. As long as we remember is RIU REGGAE .. everything Irie! also remember the RIU app so you can get replenished drinks in rooms or book your evening restaurant .. staff so friendly and helpful. Use this as your base and go do the excursions..enjoy seeing the real Jamaica then come back here have dinner and party.. see you next year.. 2024 xx

Girls' Trip

We (20 of us) had a great time celebrating my sister, Tiffany's 45th B'day. The vibe of the people were great! The resort's entertainment was fun, the food was good. The only drawback is most of the rooms have one big bed, therefore, you must share the bed. The beds are big. Jamaica 🇯🇲 never fails! What happens in Jamaica, never happened! Definitely a fun resort for a girls trip, Bachelors' party, etc....

Great transportation!

Very reliable transportation and the drivers were very welcoming. When we arrived at the airport the driver was already waiting with our name on a sign and helped bring our luggage to the shuttle. The shuttle itself was very comfortable and spacious.

Get responses, wish more visible

The company was very good about responding to communications and very friendly. I wish that they would be a bit more noticable and/or informative upon arrive, they were hard to find. Maybe share a phone number prior to arrival.

Piece of Heaven

The RIU Palace Montego Bay resort was Great! It did not disappoint!!!! My family and friends of 80+ had the time of our lives. Being our second time since 2018, the second time around was even better! With access to the neighboring resorts (RIU Reggae and Montego Bay), there was more than enough to do!

Blogger’s Island Experience

This excursion was in Jamaica. We booked it at the resort RUI in Montego Bay Jamaica. It was the highlight of our trip!!! Our guide/hostess was named Eve. She was amazing. She was very personable. She gave us an island tour. We visited various neighborhoods in Jamaica. She gave us the history and present day happenings of these neighborhoods. We visited a farmers market and got to sample some fruits and vegetables. We met the locals as well. We visited the rainforest/jungle and discussed the plants and animals. Last we visited a remote community that gave us the opportunity to cook and eat an authentic Jamaican meal with a chef. It was amazing well worth the money. You are driven by the host. There is not a lot of walking. She (Eve) was great !! Words can not describe this experience. I highly recommend it!!!

First time in Jamaica

First time in Jamaica, last minute trip. Rui Reggae i have to say is one of the best adult only hotels i have stayed in. All inclusive really means All inclusive. Good staff, clean and spacious rooms, quality food never got a dicky tummy for whole 2 weeks i was there nor any of my party. Staff - Winston at the bar excellent show man, RIU reward this man its people like him who make travellers want to return. Hotel needs a pool and snooker tables us brits don't just play volley ball!! Overall great holiday trips outside we walked up the 950FT Dunn's river falls, visited the home and burial place of Bob Marley fantastic day out. Illuminous sea tour ok wouldn't go a gain but good to see once. Shopping - well a bag of unknown brand crisps in the hotel gift shop was the equivalent to £15. per bag... crazy prices for what we get back home for 1.50 bag of Walkers or golden wonder, hence tp say i never purchased these. Id recommend this hotel but would not recommend prices for extras far to expensive but great hotel to stay/ I would go back

Fabulous resort

I was here six years ago and it was just ok. My recent visit was a definite upgrade in every way. The food was great, service friendly and quick, housekeeping was very good. Drinks were amazing but best of all the entertainment was the best that I have ever experienced at a resort or on a cruise. It was Broadway great. We are back next year for sure.

Late pick up

Shuttle was an hour, if not an hour & some change late to pick us up from airport. Driver stated there was an accident.

Flawless

I was given transportation from airport to resort (Riu reggae) my driver was Bailey. He was very knowledgeable and professional. We had many questions and different things we wishes to do while In “Mobay” Bailey helped facilitate each experience and could answer each question. By the time i left i felt like i was leaving a family member. They make you feel that comfortable. I would fully recommend booking with this agency and if you can get Bailey! And make sure you tip him!

Relaxed at The Reggae

Fantastic time at the Riu Reggae for our 60th birthday celebrations! Requested a quieter room & we were given room 2168 which was ideal. No noise from the entertainment but no pool or sea view. We were happy we were hardly in the room! Staff were fantastic, room was lovely & cleaned everyday. Everything replenished in the minibar or elsewhere in the room when requested on the Riu app. Visited the individual restaurants & enjoyed the food. Buffet restaurant had plenty of food options for everyone. 24 hour bar also had sandwiches & snacks. Entertainment staff were exceptionally good. Loved watching their shows & their dancing. Drinks were good & never had a problem getting served whether you tipped the staff or not. Visited The Montego Bay hotel but were glad we’d chosen The Reggae as it was smaller. Would definitely visit again & recommend for all ages!

Winter break Jamaica

Quick winter escape, close to airport (25 min cab ride), warm greeting, great beach, plenty of lounge chairs around pool and on beach, need to have some discipline at the restaurants - food was great, perfect beach drinks
