Absolutely amazing experience! Holger was the best instructor ever and made me feel so comfortable and we had the best time! Strongly recommend doing it if you’re thinking about it even if it’s cloudy/ wet it’s still amazing!

Amazing Sky dive !!!

I had the best experience sky diving today all thanks to (mikey h) he was a great instructor and put me straight at ease!also a hilarious guy!saw some turtles and also let me steer the parachute!thank you so much you were great!

Unreal Skydive here in Mission Beach!!!

I had the most amazing time skydiving here in Mission Beach!! Glenn was my instructor and he was amazing, even let me take control of the parachute which was so cool. I saw views of the reef and even turtles which was just amazing. 100% recommend doing it here in mission beach!!!

Skydive Mission Beach

While my skydive got cancelled on Saturday due to weather conditions and I felt pretty skeptical on my 2nd attempt, I had the best time!! All thanks to Holger ( My instructor) and Cris (filming the experience) for showing great passion for the work and reassuring me from beginning till end. It’s a real adrenaline booster and inspiration source. I know it costs a lot of money, but it’ll be the coolest experience ever!!

Great skydive, poor organisation

Really good experience! Can’t fault the skydive itself, amazing views and great activity for thrill seekers. However, the organisation was slightly disappointing. Our pick up time was changed due to weather so we arrived at Mission Beach for 12pm. We were told to get some lunch and come back for 2pm for our dive. We arrived back and were told there are delays so we waited to be picked up. The lady then asked if anyone would be willing to do their skydive a different day, however we were all on a booked tour and were leaving this area the following day. This made us all a bit anxious as staff had said we may not be all be able to do it. There were no offers of refunds and were told to wait and see. We waited until about 4:30pm and were told we could go up. The staff were really friendly, though some of the skydive instructors didn’t seem too bothered about talking or giving much information, which made it a bit awkward at times. I was very nervous and told my instructor this but he wasn’t bothered and made no effort to keep the conversation going, meaning I felt slightly on edge the whole time. I think I would’ve had a better experience with a different instructor as my friends had great communication with theirs. Overall it was a very long day of waiting around but we are grateful they made it possible for us to do it as they were rushing to get us all up in the air.

Amazing experience

Austin was an amazing instructor and really made the experience for us. His knowledge and passion for skydiving really shows and overall had a fantastic time and would recommend to anyone who is considering jumping!

Long wait

Actual jump was amazing! But had to wait 3,5 hours for the jump after getting dropped off at the office. Then we had to wait another 2 hours for the shuttle bus to take us back to the hostel. The others in our group were all taken back to the hostel after their jump. We had to wait tho because of delays and extra bookings. My friends footage wasn’t complete and all she got offered was a t shirt. Should plan the shuttles buses better.

Review

It was nice, but we arrived before 8, and we booked for 10. We also didn’t go to the actually plain before like 11. So we waited more than 3 hours. And then the camera didn’t work properly, and they said I could get it refunded, but then they said it’s actually not that bad of a video, so it won’t be a proper refund. Then they offered me a t-shirt. Then we had to wait over two more hours, just for them to get us back. They also never informed us about all this waiting, and then kept saying 10 more minute over and over again.

Amazing experience and great instructor Austin. JUST DO IT!

I did it on my 30th birthday, it is one of the most amazing life experiences I have had. Thanks my instructor Austin for being very considerate through out the journey and making it enjoyable. It is the highlight of my Australia trip. The second when I jumped out of the airplane I was a bit nervous, but later it was just so excting and fun! One of the first things I said was "it is super fun, I want to do it again. Although we almost waited the whole day and had to get up early for it, it was totally worth it. If you are still thinking about it, JUST DO IT!

Saved memorise for a sky high price.

Mind blowing experience and I high recommend doing it. The only downside is the 6 minute thrill can consume the whole day. We had a 9am booking but due to weather was pushed to 12pm but when we arrived was told it would be 2pm ish. What we didn't understand was that the 9am booking was the 2nd jump of the day but when we turned up at 12pm and was delayed till 2pm we were the 3rd jump of the day. However this worked out for the best because the 2nd jump was cloudy and we got blue skies. Very slick set up, friendly and professional. We were a family of 3 and to buy the video package for all of us would be near on £300 on top of the £600 for the jump, that's ridiculous. Yes we want to catch the memories but come on! We bought our daughters vid but I think it would be nice to be offered a few photos for alot less of us all. One pic leaving the plane for example.

Amazing!

Awesome experience! The tandem partners are very cool and funny. They are filming with a go pro on their wrist, but the video and pictures still turned out amazing! The landing was super smooth and I always felt save. Thanks to my tandem partner Glenn who did great!

Epic!! Do it!!

Incredible experience we will never forget. From the moment Sean picked us up from our hotel (shout out to Sean for being a total legend) we were put at ease. Mandy in the office was lovely! All the prep and safety briefing happened nice and quickly so didn’t give us too much time to get nervous. My husband and I had Adsy and Steve as our instructors and they were amazing! Landing on the beach was epic and mission beach scenes from the sky are just insane. Would highly recommend.

Highly recommend

I really enjoyed our skydiving experience on mission beach. My dive was with Mikey and he really put my mind at ease whilst also making this a fun experience. In the plane on the way up he pointed out lots of local attractions and view points to explore during the days after the dive and went through the process of the dive step by step so I knew what was happening and when. I was really nervous beforehand but I felt safe the entire time. We took a few deep breaths before leaving the plane and the views were so amazing I forgot about the fear and just had a great time. You could see parts of the reef, the surrounding islands and we landed on the beach. It was honestly the best experience ever and I’d definitely do it again - thanks Mikey and the rest of the skydiving team!

Brilliant experience - a must do!!!!

The best experience ever!!!! Staff are professional - keep things relaxed and keep you informed at every step, whilst having a few laughs along the way. Big thanks to Mike for making my experience one to remember!!! Would recommend purchasing media package as it is a fantastic keepsake!

Went here today for my 30th and it was amazing!! I couldn't have asked for a better instructor (Mikey H, you're a legend) and it was honestly the best experience of my life. I wanna do it again 4 hundred times over aha. Thank you guys! You'll be seeing me again. I'm still not over the high ✌️❤️

For too many years I’d convinced myself that I’d never be able to get beyond the ‘sitting on the ledge of the plane door’ bit... Having trekked the West Coast on a group ‘expedition’ earlier in my trip, talk inevitably had turned to what others had experienced here in Oz. A number of my travel buddies had ‘done’ the Dive - and at Mission Beach which is reputed to be one of the very best worldwide sites to ‘take the plunge’. And so it was that at the ripe old age of 56 and with enough supposed ‘common wisdom’ under my belt that I determined to put ‘caution to the wind’ - literally. I’ll leave you to experience ‘it’ for yourself but a few points to ponder... 1. I WAS **** scared - but only in the moments before I ‘jumped’ ( i.e. was pushed out ! ) 2. ‘Mind’ CAN really overcome ‘matter’. 3. I actually felt safe - before & during ! 4. I’m SO pleased that I took out a second mortgage to pay for every conceivable video footage going ( i.e. Proof ! ) And... 5. Yes - I WOULD do it again 👍❤️

Amazing!!

Could not recommend more!!! This was an amazing experience and completely once in a lifetime!! I’m okay with heights but I was definitely nervous for this however all the staff and instructors are super friendly and really informative. The video and photos produced are also amazing!! The only slight downside is purchasing the footage and photos is almost as much as the skydive itself but still definitely worth it!!

A once in a lifetime experience

We visited mission beach with our daughter and partner, she said she wanted to do the skydive as had been told it is the best place in Australia to sky from. I thought why not give it a go myself. I am 63 but it was terrific, even though everyone was much younger my age was never mentioned and i was just another customer. All 3 of us were impressed with our tandem partner they made us feel really at ease. The dive was brilliant a terrific feeling and great views. Thanks Skydive Au and Mikey H for making it special. The gopro footage was expensive to buy so we never bothered, the experience will linger long it doesn't need the video to remind me.

soooo amazing! best day ever!

doing a skydive is such an amazing experience; words cannot describe how good it feels. I cried! But what's great about doing the skydive here is the location. The views you get from the plane on the way up is just all green land, and then getting closer to the beach for the jump. You can see the whole length of the beach, and the blue sea, Dunk Island and other Islands. When i got lower on the parachute stage i could see a turtle going along the shore on Mission Beach. My instructor was great - he was an american guy who really suited to what i wanted in an instructor: a clear explanation about how it all works, and now lets go do it. Very professional with gearing us up and very clear on what we needed to do for the jump. Beforehand, there is a lot of form filling, and it's definitely worth buying the photo package too beforehand as they charge card fees on the day which they don't if you pre-book it. They said to other people that if you wanted to decide afterwards, they can't guarantee your instructor will actually record as they don't have to. There was only a group of 8 people jumping, so it was also nice to have a small group. I felt very safe which is also very important too. It was the perfect sunny clear day to skydive - we had to meet at the office by 8am, and by 9am we were already back on the ground! But i have heard from other people that sometimes they have had to wait due to weather. We were able to wear the clothes we rocked up in - shorts and tank top wearing trainers. The office is right in the middle of Mission Beach, and I'm pretty sure the parking along the main road is free; we were parked up in one of the caravan parks a few minutes walk away. Although we were disappointed there wasn't more merchandise in the shop!

Just the best thing!!

There can be no better place to do a Skydive than Mission Beach. Fly over the GBR and land on 4 miles of golden sand. It was our first dive and although we were obviously nervous, the Dive Masters at Mission Beach are great professionals and instantly put us at ease. The freefall from 15,000 was awesome. Would thoroughly recommend. JB

Had the best experience and wondering why I haven’t done it sooner, we had a cloudy day but the views were still exceptional and we got a beach landing which was Awesome! We were staying at the YHA and they picked us up and dropped us back, really great service would definitely recommend.

AMAZING place for 1st jump!

Great experience. Did 2nd dive immediately after 1st dive. HIGHLY recommend to anyone considering a jump. Thought I would be nervous, but was not at all. Great instructors. Would have jumped all day if I could have. The view is incredible. You will NOT find a better place to do this. Worth every penny.

Simply Amazing

I jumped this morning tandem with Vicki. She was fantastic, very helpful and friendly. She made things so easy and encouraged me every step of the way. The whole experience was magical. I never dreamt it would be that exhilarating. It was on my bucket list, being 67 on the day, so why not. My husband bought the package for me for my birthday. It was a perfect day, my children and my grandchildren watched me land. I would recommend it to all those who dare to challenge themselves to achieve their dreams. I don't mind doing it again.
