Yarra Valley sunrise balloon flight only

Excellent staff, enjoyable experience

Brian and Riley were excellent in hosting us. Beyond Brian having a vast knowledge in piloting balloons, he did great in engaging us to keep us comfortable and at ease throughout the experience. Riley was well-versed in handling all logistical aspects of the flight and was able to give clear instructions so that we could help out in the pack up efficiently (highly recommended to try this out!). A joy to witness, learn and partake in the entire experience beyond enjoying the mesmerising views of Yarra Valley. In preparation, it would be best to wear closed-toe shoes that can take the morning dew and manure of the fields as recommended by the team. Use the toilets prelaunch before setting off for the launch site as there are no toilets till we're back. Wear gloves when cold and when packing up.

FLIGHT OF YOUR LIFE

We had the utmost experience of a lifetime today being the 15/5/24. BRIAN AND THE STRINGER BOYS would have to be the most professional, organised, respectful customer focused and safety driven company I have ever come across. They not only went over the safety requirements with us several times but explained every little detail of how the balloon is set up from start to finish. But we were all participants in setting it up and packing it up, Brian commentated the flight very well and cracked quite a few jokes along the way . And when the flight had come to the end Brian made a 10 /10 touch down landing. And we were back on the bus and on our way back home oh and several photos were taken by an on board camera fitted to the outside of the balloon 🎈 just as a bonus extra. And the serenity of the yarra valley is just breathtaking you just can't get enough of it. So my wife and I would personally like to thank Brian and the team for such a fantastic life experience and suggest that anyone reading this review grab yourself ,your partner, freinds and family tickets to hop on board and have the flight of your life. Brian and his team created memories that will truly last a lifetime. The amount of work that goes into setting up a hot air balloon is impressive, and keeping it under control during the flight is an even bigger feat. Brian and his team made it look effortless, which speaks volumes about their expertise. A special shoutout to Jason as well. He went above and beyond by picking us up extra early in the morning and ensuring we got back to the city conveniently after everything was packed up. Overall, this experience was exceptional. Highly recommend!

Excellent experience. Brian and Jason looked after us in a friendly and professional manner. Everything was explained clearly and calmly. They gave us photos for free and we also had about 15 minutes extra time. Highly recommended.

My wifand e bought this flight for my birthday and its one of the best presents I've had. Our pilot Brian was excellent and the flight was exceptional. Morning flight over Yarra Valley

A hands on experience, we flew with 7 other balloons which was visually amazing as we ascended above cloud to see the sunrise. Easy to take great photos as the views are impressive.

Finale of our family Melbourne trip!

Our original flight was cancelled due to bad weather but the team was able to slot in this instead. Turned out to be the grand finale of our family Melbourne trip! A fantastic experience! From the time of booking until the end of the flight the whole event was fantastic! Very well organized, very friendly and accommodating service, and most importantly you are made to feel safe whilst floating thousands of feet above ground. Brians jokes did help! The flight is just so peaceful, and the scenery is just amazing. We did the YV trip and now planning the city version!

Such an amazing experience! Brian and Jason were wonderful! It was such a smooth flight. Both Brian and Jason went out of their way to accomodate my friend and I who had some transportation issue. We met at the chocolaterie gantry and were driven to the location for take-off. Views were spectacular! Will definitely recommend everyone to try this! Thanks Brian and Jason!

Not good enough

It was good experience. I have organise this trip for my Sisters birthday and at the end they ask us to help to windup everything that’s not good…. It’s a hard work not a gift. And haven’t given enough instructions for landing.

30th Wedding Anniversary Flight

This was our 30th Wedding Anniversary Flight, deferred from May due to Covid 19. Weather was on our side, absolutely sensational morning for a balloon flight. One of the most magical moments of my life!

This is the second time I've gone up with Picture This Ballooning, the first time in Melbourne CBD and this time in the Yarra Valley. They never disappoint. Richard was a fantastic polite, informative, amusing pilot who made us feel safe and laugh! The views above the Yarra were spectacular and the moment we popped through the clouds and through to the sunshine and blue sky was easily one of the most magical moments of my life!
