Great tour and hilariously funny guide, Bob

Bob was our tour specialist. He was clear with his communication, and his sense of humour unmatched. Well, perhaps only a few big names like BIlly Crystal and Eddie Murphy can produce more laughs a minute than Bob. We had 16 people in our group, so Bob would do a headcount each time we returned to the bus. I was 15th, and he would say “sweet 16” for the Aussie lady sitting near the door. (Bob, that’s the only clue you get on who I am.) The Yarra Valley Gourmet tour is highly recommended. How else can you get to go to four places where you drink alcohol, be entertained along the way, and then be driven safely back to your hotel? Go West is the way. Bob is the guy. For lunch, the beef was delicious. It was so perfectly made I could use a fork to just tear the meat apart with a fork. Bob sat with us at the table, which was a whole lot of fun. I poured him water, which was all he was allowed to drink cos he was the guide and driver. :-) On the way back, near the end of the day, our bus broke down. It’s one of those things with Murphy’s Law. If it can go wrong, it will. But Bob got on the phone quickly, called the ops room, someone arranged a replacement bus and that was on the way. Our wait was made much easier cos Bob’s cool demeanor, classy humor, and the conversations with the three Aussie ladies in the group made the wait quite fun and time seemed to breeze by. When we finally got back to Melbourne, Bob apologized multiple times about the delay due to the breakdown. At each hotel stop, he made it a point to get down from the bus, said goodbye at the door as we got off the bus, and thanked us for going Go West. We had lots of fun and wonderful memories. Thank you for the great tour. And Bob, thanks for being so naturally funny.

Beautiful scenery, and wine wine wine plus delicious lunch.. worth the money!! The chocolate trip was a bit rushed and chaotic.. overall it is a fantastic tournament with Israel, a friendly guide, remember to take a look at Israel drawing!!

I joined yarra valley gourmet tour and my tour guide name is Bob. He takes a good care of everyone, the tour itself is excellent but he makes it much more fun. 非常之滿意的一個旅程，雅拉河谷酒莊一日遊，導遊BOB 非常細心，整團團友氣氛很好，大家都買了不少手信，品嘗芝士的地方裏的果醬非常好味👍🏻

Great Experience with Israel

We had an amazing day on the Yarra Valley gourmet tour. We enjoyed tastings from two vineyards, an experience of the best local gin, local cheeses and an incredible chocolate shop. The guide who took us was super fun and friendly at all times.

Worth it!

The best winery, gin and chocolate tour

Escape the city

Great day out enjpying the best of the Yarra Valley. Beautiful food, wine, gin, cheese and Chocolate Aaron our tour guide was enthusiastic and genuine. His customized playlist of Aussie hits was the icing on the cake.

Great day tour of the Yarra Valley with wine , gin, cheese and chocolate tasting.

Whole day tour which we visited Bowgownie Estate for a wine tasting. On to Coldstream dairy for a cheese tasting followed by gin paddle and tasting at Four Pillars distillery. Off to a beautiful lunch at Rochford Estate followed by another wine tasting. Then to the chocolaterie for chocolate tasting to finish the day. Fantastic day out and our guide Graheme was excellent. He kept us up to date throughout the day and made us feel so relaxed. 12 people on the tour today so very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Yarra Valley wine tasting

My tour guide, Israel “Angel of the morning” was entertaining and fun, he made good jokes while we were traveling, hyping up the tour group. The wine, gin, cheese and chocolate tasting at Yarra Valley was great, highly recommended!

Yarra Valley - wine & food

If you like wine, gin and good food, this is the best choice for you. I join this tour on 17 May with my hubby and we enjoy a day out with all these activities. The final stop was a choclate factory and we love dark choclate w sea salt the best. Thank you to Issac, our guide for the day and we really enjoy the trip.

Had a great day on this tour. The destinations were great and very informative. Nice lunch and our tour guide Lani was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Pickup and drop off were easy and in very close proximity to my accomodation. Would highly recommend this tour.

I went on the Yarra Valley Gourmet tour & I highly recommend it. Our guide, Cloe was informative, & she had a friendly, outgoing demeanour. Cloe picked me up from the pickup point at exactly the confirmed time. The tour offered a perfect mix of food & drink. The tastings were generous & the lunch was delicious. The tour van can seat up to 25 passengers, and is clean and comfortable, offering air conditioning and free wifi. A wonderful full day tour.

Great visit to yarra valley

Great trip with our guide Cloe. She took great care of us ensuring everyone stayed on time. We were lucky that we were a small group of 8 and had lovely weather too. We enjoyed our first winery visit at Balgownie and sampled some good wines. Our next stop was homemade Cheese at a diary farm at Coldstream Dairy which were lovely cheeses served with crackers. Our next stop was Four Pillars gin where we sampled 4 different gins with tonic. Great fun and lovely opportunity to try these award winning gins. Then our next stop was another winery which we were not keen on the wines. We did however have a one course lunch at the winery which was delicious as part of our tour. After this we went for chocolate tasting which was okay but extremely busy with many locals visiting on a Sunday. Thank you Cloe for a great winery tour and getting us back in one piece!

A great day was had by all!

Our guide Laney was an excellent guide and driver. The tour included 2 wineries, lunch, a gin tasting, cheese tasting and a chocolate tasting. A good range of venues for the day tour. I would definitely recommend the tour to other travellers staying in Melbourne.

What a FANTASTIC TOUR , made even more wonderful by our Tour Guide Robert C. The Wine tasting , Gin Distillery visit, Dairy visit and Chocolatier visits were EXCEPTIONAL . I never felt rushed and felt well taken care of by Robert who had some interesting tidbit to share about the area or the actual place being visited.10/10… EXCELLENT tour with an EXCELLENT guide !!

This was an absolutely DELIGHTFUL tour with so many wonderful stops. The distillery stop was a new experience for me that I THROUGHLY enjoyed but must say THE highlight was the Yarra Valley Chocolatier. A fantastic experience made even more wonderful by our AWESOME tour guide Robert . His depth of knowledge, courteous service and just wonderfully pleasant manner made this a once in a lifetime tour. If I could I would sort these tours by ..is Robert was the tour guide .. THATS HOW EXCEPTIONAL HE WAS !!

Amazing experience

Every stop was fantastic- a good mix of food and alcohol; the gin distillery at Four Pillars was a highlight, as was the chocolate tasting! Damien was a great guide and the tunes made the bus ride go quickly!

The best of Yarra Valley

Amazing experience at beautiful vineyards, a dairy farm, and the Yarra valley chocolaterie! Our tour guide Jools was just the best, keeping us all entertained and happy. Met a lot of lovely people on the tour and enjoyed their company. I highly recommend this tour, it gets five stars from me 🤗

An enjoyable tour of the Yarra Valley

Enjoyable day trip!

Really enjoyed the tour. The two wineries were great but we definitely preferred Balgownie. The small cheese farm had some delicious cheeses and jams on offer. Chocolate factory was a great way to end the tour. Small group. I would definitely recommend.

Great day filled with wine and food!

I had the most enjoyable day visiting the various spots in this well-paced tour, enjoying the wine, cheese and chocolate. The lunch was fantastic, one of the best meals I have had. Our guide Emily was wonderful, ensuring that everything went smoothly and we were all well looked after. The only downside is not having an opportunity to visit the wine yard or cheese making facility.

Great way to spend a day at the Yarra Valley

Pickup from hotel was bang on time and efficient. Budgie our driver/tour guide was brilliant. We had a fantastic day visiting vine yards, a local dairy and local chocolatairy. Lunch was taken at one of the vineyards. Overall a great day.

We had an amazing experience with Go West Tours. Raquel entertained and guided us through a day of gourmet paradise, including wine, cheese and chocolate tasting in the Yarra Valley. Would totally recommend this tour!

Amazing day out!

The day was very enjoyable and I loved the ease of booking everything online. Our guide Budgie was very knowledgeable, friendly and gave outstanding service! I especially appreciated the cooler bag that he had brought to store perishable goods, as it was a very hot day. The only negative thing that I would have to say would be the wine tasting at Balgownie Estate. I reckon they served us the cheapest wine for tasting, not an enjoyable experience. Fortunately though, all the other stops made up for it. We loved Coldstrseam dairy - all the handcrafted cheeses and chutney, Four pillars - I'm not a big fan of gin but the gin here was amazing! Then after we had lunch and wine tasting at Rochford winery - their wine was amazing as well as the lunch that was served. Our last stop was the choclatarie and I thoroughly enjoyed this experience as I have a sweet tooth.
