Half day tour

A very impressive one day tour by Andrew in Yarra valley vineyard. I am really impressed with Andrew's expression in this area, especially for some wine information. Frankly speaking, vineyard here is a little different with my sister- in-law's in Taiwan. The vineyard is a little bit lower in Yarra valley and leaves are not as big as what I see in Taiwan. I can see the variety of wines by fermentation and distillation compared with the one in sister in law's. It is amazing to see the kangaroo in the vineyard too. The taste of wines are really unique and impressive. First time for me to taste all varieties in short time. If you are a wine lover, it is worthy for you to visit. Enjoy.

Great Winery + More Tour of the Yarra Valley

From start to finish this was an amazing tour for this normally non alcoholic drinker. Nice wine tour at the Yering Farms and at the Helen and Joey Winery. Alex, our driver and guide got us through the wine tours, the Gin floats at Four Pillars plus yummy sampling of chocolate. Alex was great at time management and easy with pleasant conversation. Best way to do the Great Ocean Road

One of the best tours I’ve done in Australia. I’ve seen and done so many things in just two days. Driving along the Great Ocean Road, learning how to stand up on a surf board in Lorne, feeding birds and seeing wild Koalas in Kennett River, eating Australia’s best ice cream, having nice talks and guitar play around the campfire, making friends, sleeping in a teepee, visiting Loch Ard Gorge and of course the 12 Apostles. It was an amazing weekend with amazing people.

The best weekend!

We all had an amazing weekend! It didn’t feel like a typical tour but more like a road trip with good friends. Andrew is the best guide and put a lot of effort in. You can really tell that he loves what he does. Spending our night in the teepee was the highlight of the trip and surfing was just as amazing. Definitely an experience you won’t find anywhere else. 11/10 would recommend going.

The best Great Ocean Road Tour

It was the tour that I wished. Not too big, and not too busy doing something and relaxing in the nature, and enjoying the time. Small group (11 people). So everyone could talk with each others and feel connected to others who are being friends after tour. Hope Teepee tours keep going on their way.

Best way to explore the great ocean road!

This is a really fun and relaxed tour. I could not have asked for a better way to explore the great ocean road. What sets this tour apart from other tours is that not only you get to see the beautiful views that the great ocean road has to offer, but it's also a fun social experience. It's ideal for backpackers but also suitable for anyone else who is up for a camping trip. Andrew is a really laid-back guy who genuinely cares about everyone feeling comfortable and having a good time. He creates a nice, social atmosphere that brings everyone together. What a tour

Where to start Andrew was the best tour guide ever really friendly and knowledgable . Had my first ever surf lesson and even tho I did not get very far I really enjoyed it . The camping was the best bit and the bbq was lovely . Sleeping in a teepee was a experience on its own and worth doing . The second day the weather was not very good but still had a brill day would deffo recommend this tour

Great experience!!

I loved everything about this trip! Andrew was a fantastic tour guide, musician, story teller, conversation starter, cook and did everything to make everybody feel confertable. It is only a small van, but the small group created a nice vibe. After the surf lesson we arrived at the teepee tent, definitely the best thing of this trip. After a delicious bbq around a campfire, the campfire continued inside the teepee tent full with comfortable beds. The second day we went to the high lights of the great ocean road such as the twelve apostels. You can stay as long as you want, there isn’t a strict schedule as a normal trip. As Andrew said; it is more a road trip then a guided tour, and that made it a great experience!

Best Tour ever!!!

Without knowing what to expect I went on the teepee tour with an open mind. I wanted to see the great ocean road and that was we were going to do. But it was so much more. Andrew was the best tour guide I ever met and made everybody feel a part of the group. He taught us how to surf and in the evening we were all sitting together, telling stories and listening to music. Later on in the teepee everybody was laying in bed with a campfire in the middle of the tent! I never had an experience like this and I would recommend to everybody! With the live music, small group and lovely people this was definitely the best choice for the great ocean road I could make.

The only way to do the GOR

I cannot say enough great things about Andrew and the Great Ocean Road trip. A few friends and I went on the two-day tour and truly loved every minute of it. Andrew is a super down to earth guy who's eager to create real connections with everyone on his trips. He takes his work seriously and wants to ensure everyone has a great time without going over the top or acting like your typical tour guide. The Great Ocean Road tour was beautiful and experiencing it in such a small group made the experience even more memorable. Spending the night in the teepee was a super cool and unique experience that you won't get anywhere else. I can't think of a better way to have toured GOR.

A Must Do!

One of the highlights of my time in Melbourne. As a solo traveler, I highly recommend this tour- it's not only a great way to see some amazing sights but also a great way to meet some pretty awesome people. Andrew went out of his way to ensure that everyone had an outstanding, unique experience. DO IT.

An authentic guy and road trip 🤩

I did the tour the few two days ago and I just want to say thank you to Andrew. He is a really nice guy and he takes care of everyone. We went to surf, we had a picnic, we saw the most beautiful spots of the GOR, we had a BBQ, we slept in the Teepee (really relaxing place), .. Try it on your own, you won’t be disappointed. This tour is really worth the detour and its price.

This was such a unique tour! You won’t find anything else like it! It feels like a road trip with old friends you’re catching up with as you all share stories from all over the world! You see amazing sights, spend time at one of the most beautiful beaches, surf some waves and spend the evening warming up in a teepee with a fire and good lives tunes! Our tour guide Andrew was phenomenal, great host with great service and GREAT CHUNES!!! Had a blast on the 2 day tour and would recommended it 100% if you're looking for a quick getaway and wanting to experience TEEPEE TOPIA!

AMAZING!

The BEST way to spend a few day! I had the best time with teepee tours, made some great friends and experienced the great ocean road in the best way I can imagine. Loved the laid back feel of the tour, it felt like going on a road trip with a bunch of friends rather than on an organised tour. The teepee itself is amazing and I loved sleeping in it. Andrew is so helpful, no request is too much and is really great at getting the group to socialise and get to know each other.. not to mention the best jam I’ve ever had, this guy can sure play the guitar! Would highly recommend!

Best introduction to Australia!!!

Wow. What a phenomenal way to begin our time in Australia. We met Andrew in downtown Melbourne and spent the next two days with him and ten strangers. But we didn’t stay strangers for long. Andrew is a wizard at #realtalk and in no time had us connecting beyond surface-level b.s. We really got to know and care for each other which was a remarkable feat driven by Andrew’s authentic curiosity. The surf lessons were fantastic and we all got a chance to go at our own pace, which was great for me as I’ve surfed a handful of times before. The scenery was splendid, the stops well planned (including two stops where we randomly saw dolphins playing in the ocean and one with koalas and kangaroos), and the teepee... wow the teepee. I’ve been traveling the world now for five months and this is the coolest place I have stayed. Remarkable painted sky with the sunset, roasted marshmallows and more heart-to-hearts around the fire, and snoozing until nature woke us up in the teepee. I cannot recommend this tour enough. If you’re contemplating it, stop contemplating and book a space today!

Relaxed tour

Andrew the tourguide is a Very nice guys and really relaxed. He makes sure everyone feels welcome and creates a real group out of individuals. I had a really good time during the great ocean road trip,the BBQ and ofcourse the bonfire at night near and in the teepee. I would reccomend him always to take you on a trip! Thanks so much!

A FANTASTIC ROADTRIP!

Where to begin? Naturally, the beginning.. So, you meet a man with a van (less dodgy than it sounds) and all of your new travel buddies. From the get go Andrew was fab! He told us the very funny story about how TeePee Tours began and also had some great little icebreakers for us to all introduce ourselves to each other in the van. We had a great group as well, so we all became friends fast, which was lovely! That's what makes this "tour" so great. It feels more like a road trip with your friends than a tour, which I think is what they're going for, so they've succeeded! You get some great photo stops on the Great Ocean Road, and then a pit stop midway for a couple of hours to try and surf. The surfing was great fun and the little town it was in was really lovely. From there you then make your way to the accommodation for the evening and definitely one of the greatest additions to the trip... the TIPI! I'm by no means into camping, but this was a luxury camping experience - more like glamping. From the moment you walk in, it feels super homely.. with the fire burning and each bed set up with blankets and sleeping bags. They've really done a good job at making this a luxury camping experience. We spent the night eating the lovely barbecue Andrew prepared (with our help as sous chefs) and told stories around the fire. We were also lucky enough to have Andrew play his guitar and sing for us - make sure he does this when you're there as he has a cracking voice! All in all, this was one of the best experiences I've ever had and I would HIGHLY suggest it to anyone looking to experience the Great Ocean Road in a small group that you will undoubtedly become good friends with, then THIS IS THE TRIP FOR YOU. Andrew is a fantastic host and really fun to be around, so you are guaranteed to have a fabulous time!

AUTHENTIC experience

If you're looking for a luxurious trip with a well-informed guide who can tell you every single detail about the great ocean road, this trip isn't for you. However, if you're looking for the most authentic experience in Australia, where you get the feeling, that you've met a local Australian guy at a bar and decided to go on a road trip together - this tour is an absolut winner! The man behind the wheel, 'Drew', is so down to earth and present and you never get bored in his company. He is funny, driven and most important: he contributes by giving you the most authentic experience ever. You get to sleep in a tipi (I mean, how often to you get the chance to do that?!), you get to see the most amazing places along the coast of Melbourne, you enjoy a delicious barbecue around the fireplace in the evening, and end the night with Drew playing the guitar and you eating marshmallows. I can explain how happy I was that I found this tour, and I will without a doubt recommend it to everyone - you definitely won't regret it!

No better way to see the great ocean road

From the moment our tour guide, Drew, asked us all random questions in attempt to get to know us, I knew this would be a good trip. I answered that the first album I bought was Breakout by Miley Cyrus, and could tell that thanks to our tour guide we would all be getting to know each other very well these next two days. You can rent a car or campervan to see the great ocean road or you can hop on a larger tour bus, but you'll never get the unique and personal experience that you will with Teepee tours. Drew isn't just a van driver. His efforts go above and beyond that of a tour guide. We could all tell that he really cared about us and our experience. He made sure to do everything he could to accommodate for the quirks in each of us such as frequently being cold or not liking smoke from a bonfire. He was accepting of all of these things, and beyond that was just a pleasure to have around. He was fun and kind. He was interested - not just interesting. When he asked questions he really listened. You could tell that meeting all sorts of people from all sorts of places really brings him joy. Any tour can give you the opportunity to meet new people if you're willing, but Drew did an excellent job fostering those friendships and giving us such a unique experience. I mean when else can you say you've slept in a Teepee? This tour started out by two Aussies with a vision, but I know that's not how it will end. I can see this tour growing and growing, and I'm honored to be able to say I experienced it at the beginning. I can't wait to see them develop their Teepee-topia, so I can like it on insta :P 10/10 would recommend

This trip was everything I wanted! Surfing, camping in a tipi, campfire, beers, bbq and great bants. What more do you want? Drew made it like it was a road trip with mates, so it was the most relaxed and fun trip I’ve been on. The tipi also was the best nights sleep I’ve had in Australia. So peaceful! Will definitely be recommending this trip to everyone I meet

This is a really nice great ocean road trip. Andrew is a really passionate and enthousiastic guide and makes the trip feel like a real and surprising roadtrip. I would really recommend this trip to people who dont wanna do the typical trip in a big tourist bus, but want spontanity and new places away from tourists

If you want to experience the Great Ocean Road with a small group of people, that instantly become your friends, and away from the mass of tourists- this is the perfect trip! And who doesn’t want to tour with a small group rather than a big group? If you are keen to surf or try surfing, have birds flying at your shoulders, head and arms and just want to have a relaxed road trip, by still visiting the most amazing places along the Great Ocean Road, this is the trip. Andrew is also a very funny and chill guy, who makes the whole trip feel like friends are traveling together. And also sleeping in a Teepee? Cmon, who wants to miss that?

Fun times

Everyone visiting Melbourne should do this! Andrew was great fun and the vibes were good avoiding a huge tour kind of situation. The drive was fun, the surfing was great and Andrew was really patient. Amazing views to be seen and stop offs at great locations. The Teepee was sooo comfortable and cute. Couldn’t recommend enough, really good value for money for such a great experience.

I had an amazing time with andrew and teepeetours in general! He made us feel as we were in an actual roadtrip with friends and not with strangers. Surfing and Birdfeeding were some of the activities along the way. Good talks and cosy athmosphere throughout the whole weekend. Campfire, teepee and some guitarmusic accompanied the experience. Andrew created a great experience! If you‘re not looking for the mainstream-touristy thing, you‘re gonna love it!

The Tour with Andrew and a really nice and interesting combination of mostly solotravellers was so so so great! I wasn’t expecting it to be that relaxed and completely NOT a „Tourism-like guided Tour“, but most of the time I felt like doing a Roadtrip with a really nice group of friends and one guitar... from the beginning he told us funny stories about himself and motivated us to get to know each other better! The surfing was awesome even though the waves weren’t that high...but good for beginners :)) when we arrived at the Teepee and started the BBQ at this spectacular location, it was just wonderful!! The best part was the long talk at the bonfire which taught me so many new things about me and the world haha, sounds a bit exaggerated but that’s how it is, I’m serious :))! Wouldn’t have wanted to do the great ocean road any other way! It was perfect! Thanks Andrew :))

Very sociable, meaningful experience along the beautiful Great Ocean Road Drive

This is by far the best! Drew was very warm and friendly. He took extra efforts to make sure everyone is comfortable and tried to get everyone to mingle, socialise and get to know each other better. Going to a group trip as a solo traveller can be daunting but I came home with a handf of new friends and a very meaningful experience. He was already there waiting when I arrived at the pick up point with a big smile and a firm hand shake. The drive was filled with games to get everyone talking with music playlist contributed by everyone. There were too-cool-for-school independent artists to tear-jerking Taiwanese ballad songs. We had a great time surfing and explore little towns along The Great Ocean Road drive, encounter with wildlife; echidna,native birds and koala. The teepee is amazing. Very spacious and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and he made sure to keep everyone warm with extra blankets. By this time, everyone had already familiarized themselves with each other. He showed us to how to chop the woods and we prepared dinner and ate together sitting by the fire, playing more social game. We did get very upclose and personal with each other. Day 2 was more relaxing checking out the Apostles and beach time. I would have to say this is the best value I had so far for an overnight trip.. and a very meaningful one. Highly recommended.

A tour for fun!

As a group of 3 girls we had a fab time on the Great Ocean Road tour. (An)Drew did a good job of keeping it fun a lighthearted, a great tour if you want to see the Ocean Road but have fun whilst doing it. Would definitely recommend to any of my friends coming to Melbs. Sleeping in the Teepee definitely added something different too. If you're up for some fun and getting involved then we defo recommend! Thanks Drew..

It was a relaxing road trip along the Great ocean road with plenty of flexibility to do what the group wants unlike most tours where schedule is set in stone. Drew puts in a lot of work to feed and take care of the group and teach beginners to surf! Teepee was a great way to Bond with fellow travellers and was very comfortable. Overall a great and unique experience that I would gladly do again!

Amazing Trip

This trip was everything I had hoped it would be! Heard from some people that this was a must if visiting Melbourne and I'm extremely happy I did it. The trip is relaxing and very laid back. Super tailored to what you want to do, amazing atmosphere and wonderful trip overall! Highly recommend this one of a kind experience.

Drew is the MAN

This tour was perfect. The laid back nature of the trip makes it more like a road trip with friends. Drew drove us to the best spots along the road, taught us to surf, cooked us barbecue and played guitar for us in an incredibly cozy teepee. I can’t imagine experiencing the Great Ocean Road in a better way than with Drew and his big white van. He made our group feel like family. I will personally recommend this tour to all of my friends and anyone wanting to experience Melbourne’s GOR for a weekend. You won’t regret it!

Best guided tour I have been on hands down! Drew was one of the best tour guide I have had, he was funny, easy going and just all around a good guy. Along with all the awesome pre planned trips he even provided a late 21st birthday party at the teepee for me and all 50 of my 30 year old friends with a DJ and everything! Such a thoughtful guy! This trip was truly an unforgettable experience for me and I’m sure for drew as well, I couldn’t have experienced the great ocean road any better myself!
