Great Time Seeing Penguins

Had an excellent time. Saw so many adorable penguins and other cool wildlife. Raquel was an amazing and fun guide. This tour was much better and more convenient than driving out there from Melbourne ourselves.

Fantastic day out with penguins

This was a great day out, with lots of stupid during the day at Brighton Beach Huts, a wildlife sanctuary (what you can pay a koala at extra cost), a surf beach, a coastal board walk and if course the amazing Penguin experience. See load of penguins and walked back up to the main visitor center with penguins walking about 1 metre away from me. Chris, our driver and tour guide, was amazing.

Bluey is the man

Great tours! Got to see koala, fed kangaroos, and saw penguins. Our guide Tom (aka Bluey) was amazing. Funny and kept the group engaged. Would 100% recommend it!

Penguin tour

Tour guide Bluey was excellent. Penguin experience was good fun. Wear warm clothes, something to sit on beach and depending on penguins you may see many or just a few. Binnoculars would be a good idea too.

Lovely views, many opportunities for photos. Particularly enjoyed Moon lit Sanctuary. FRANK was great as the tour guide and did a nice job informing about the history of different locations and keeping us engaged.

Go see the Penguin Parade!

Fabulous tour to Phillip Island to see the penguin parade with our driver, Shane. Highly recommend for those who don't want to spend a full day to see this. The penguins are adorable and well worth making the trip! Shane was a great guide and driver.

Highly recommend!

This was a really fun trip! Our guide and driver Red made sure everyone had a good time on our adventure. He kept us entertained on the bus and well informed at each of the stops. It’s amazing to see the penguins swimming ashore, but the most enjoyable part is to see them wandering through the dunes searching and finding their families and returning to their burrows.

Phillip island is a beautiful spot, developed keeping wildlife in mind, while allowing people to get close to see them. Our guide Frank was very entertaining and knowledgeable!

Rachel was a great tour guide and really fun, she showed us a range of different animals that we may not have otherwise seen.

Super cool but a bit hard to see

Great trip overall and got to see the town and a few extra sights. Nice if you want a half day trip. We got to the parade about 45 minutes before the penguins came out of the water and it was already packed so we didn’t get the best seats. I’d recommend paying extra for the exclusive view if you really want to see them and bring binoculars or go on your own and arrive pretty early.

Truly unforgettable experience!

What a fantastic trip this was! Aaron our tour leader was extremely knowledgeable about the Penguin Parade and also the previous three stops we made on our way to Phillip Island. First stop was the colourful beach boxes in Brighton Beach, Melbourne then we went onto Moonlit Sanctuary to see native Australian animals then onto a beautiful beach on Phillip Island called Woolamai Beach where we paddled in the surf of the Southern Ocean! We then went to Cowes for a dinner stop before visiting the Penguin Parade. I’ll never forget seeing these beautiful creatures come out of the sea and walk up the beach past the boardwalk. Truly unforgettable experience and for me a must do if visiting Melbourne!

Great Experience with a Great Guide

Our guide, Aaron, is an energetic and passionate man who lifted the mood of the tour a lot. The drive from central Melbourne to Philip Island was as long as around 3 hours, so during the ride Aaron did a great job to tell us about the background knowledge behind the animals and the history of the lands. He also told us about his recommendation for dinner before the penguin parade. Watching little penguins coming home from fishing was a truly wonderful experience! The facility is well designed so as to make sure visitors are able to stay close to the penguins as much as possible along the way penguins get home! With the admission fee included plus the transport, pricing is reasonable.

Worth every penny

Jacqui was such an engaging, intelligent guide. She explained everything super clearly and injected a lot of fun into the day. She had great recommendations for each activity. The Nobbies was stunning, the moonlit sanctuary had a good mix of wildlife, and the penguins were worth the wait! Would highly recommend this trip and guide.

Frank and the penguins were awesome

Frank was an amazing guide. He shared lots of interesting information about Australia during the tour and was patient when we were late for the bus. And the penguins were adorable. It's a must-do thing in Melbourne.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE 10/10 RECOMMENDED FOR WILDLIFE

THIS WAS A 10/10 EXPERIENCE AND DREAM OF MINE. I signed up for this with hopes to have a great tour guide and she did AMAZING. Her name was Camille and she was in charge of us for the afternoon. It started @245 and we got back @1130pm BUT it was worth spending the entire afternoon seeing wildlife AND the Phillip Penguin Parade. Camille was very educational about Melbourne and Phillip Island. She gave us some great information. You check out the Nobbies first and then get dinner. We had delicious dinner (chicken Parmesan) at the grill down the street. And Gelato to go!!!! 45 minutes to sit down to order and eat. But plenty of time. Thanks to Camille she gave us the best recommendation for Gelato!! Overall, amazing time. Amazing experience. THE best tour guide (we'd request her again if we could) Worth the day!!!!

Fun day

This was such a cool trip! While it was raining during the trip, I still had a blast. The wildlife sanctuary was really cool. Got to feed kangaroos and wallabies and took a picture with a koala. Our tour guide Janey was able to keep it fun even with the rain. Tue penguin march was really cool, those little guys can waddle fast. You get to be within 3-4 of them as they look for a place to sleep.

Phillip Island Penguin Parade Express

We went on the Phillip Island Penguin Parade Express with tour guide Graham. Graham is a great guide and really puts in the extra effort to make sure everyone has a great time from the minute the trip begins right down to the music on the bus. The Penguins were adorable and it was an amazing experience to watch them come in for the night.

Nice tour to do if you want to see the beautiful island

Stuart is the GOAT, he had stories for days. He had some nice tips and was a good tour guide. The penguins were great to see, a nice ending to a great island tour, seal rock was majestic and I am glad I jumped in the the sea at the pier in the town we stopped for some food

Amazing and insightful tour

Rob was really entertaining! Gave us great insights and told us the history of the locations we were going to. Even recommended some great places to eat at haha I highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for something full-day!

Such a great night with the Penguin Parade

Our guide Aaron was the best! His enthusiasm made this trip even more fun, he is an expert in local wildlife and the best places to see them. He took us to a couple of different stops along the way with beautiful scenery and awesome animals. He also let us know the best spot to see the penguins and made sure we all had a great time. We saw SO MANY penguins along the boardwalk, but I would recommend upgrading to penguin plus to get a good view of them coming up the beach. Also his Bus Jams playlist was so good I saved it on my Spotify for our road trip though New Zealand. Thanks Aaron!

Amazing trip with Rob & Ryan

The trip is well organized and I truly had a great time. The driver ( also the tour guide as well) Rob is really professional and nice. He explained the history and knowledge of the spots and views. Really happy to see little penguins pedaling back to their home. My journey completed perfectly with Rob and Ryan.

Had a great time in Phillip Island

Rob.s and Ryan are so friendly and professional. They explained the historical and geographical stories throughout the drive. We love wildlife animals and we have had so much fun in the wildlife park. The trip was overall awesome and we will definitely visit Phillip Island again!

Wonderful experience

Terry R our tour guide could not have given us a better tour. He told us exactly where to walk back to the bus to see thousands of little penguins. While the majority of the people went to the right, we went to the left. Not only did we see all sorts of little penguins from the beach making their way home, but there were so many little ones outside of their homes, calling for their mates. It was a magical experience. Mother Nature gave us a cold, wet day, but that made it all worth being cold!

Best trip ever

This trip is incredible. It’s safe and you can observe the wild lives along the way. Our guide John is very professional and keep us back to city on time. Do not drink too much water before the trip as it takes around two hours to get to the first stop on the island. Must bring warm clothes as the wind on the island at night is killing.

Must see!

Amasing tour, Felix was an excellent guide! This is a must do while visiting Australia / Melbourne. Already recommended to a bunch of my colleagues and friends.

Review of great ocean road tour and penguin parade tour

I went to the great ocean road tour and the Philip island penguin parade tour with my lfriend at 23rd and 24th of may. I travelled with Kevin and Yoni, the tour guides in that trip. They gave us a very wonderful experience. Kevin made us laugh while giving presentations about all those attractions. Yoni gave us a very detailed explanation of ecology and let us see a lot of unique animals. I highly recommend everyone to try these tours while in Melbourne.

March of the penguins

This trip was the best! Our guide was very knowledgeable and accepting of questions. The penguin parade was definitely the highlight of the trip but we also stopped at Moonlit Sanctuary (very relaxing and fun) and Brighton beach(absolutely beautiful). Our guide was Mark A. So if u can get him you will be pleased! This trip is worth every penny!

Such a amazing experience! Haven’t joined the tour for a while, but it is such nice tourist experience with our guide Chris.N. He is so knowledgeable, nice, got a sense of humour, and very organising. Hopefully next time when I do the Great Ocean road tour, Chris.N will be our guide again. Strongly recommend to the Philip Island and Penguins Parade .Philip Island is such a nice natural place to explore if you love nature. And you definitely will love the experience to sit at the beautiful beach and waiting for the Penguins Parade. Thanks Go West, thanks Chris.N!

The penguins parade is unforgettable

What a great tour. Enjoyed the moonlit sanctuary and the rainforest. The Penguin Parade was unforgettable. I can still hear those small penguins calling their offspring’s after arriving on the beach. What an amazing sight! Our guide Israel was great and kept us entertained during the 12 hour trip.

Good but....

Seeing penguin back to home is perfect. But a little bit in a rush of another sight. And the weather is bad in the afternoon which affects the experience.

Aaron our Tour Guide totally helped make this tour a great experience. Aaron humour and excitement really helped the Tour made it relaxing and fun. The colourful little buildings were quite interesting to hear about their existence. Really enjoyed the Moonlight Sanctuary. And of course the Penguin Parade was exquisite, totally the highlight .

Philip Island Tour Review

The Penguin Parade was absolutely amazing. The little penguins were so adorable and made such cute noises. The Nobbies was also extremely incredible with such a stunning view. Aaron was an amazing tour guide who was so passionate about the tour. He cared deeply for us tourists and always made sure we were comfortable.
