Best tour to relax!

Omg!!! I booked this for the end of my trip before a long flight… and it was amazing!!! The relaxation level you reach is to another level!! The views are stunning! The nature is so beautiful!

A relaxing day out.

The day trip was very pleasant. The driver was helpful and accommodating and the Hot Springs experience was great to enjoy. We would have liked 1 more hour. We felt rushed to look at the clock to leave. It was short and 1 hr extra would have made it perfect.

Most relaxed I’ve ever been

This was such a wonderful thing to do. An afternoon away from the craziness of the city. I have never been so relaxed. So many great pools of varying temps. Our guide, Chris P (kiwi) was very friendly! 10/10 must do!

Get there early. Great experience

I would advise to get there early and book. Can be very busy. I been meaning to go for ages and was worth the trip down. Pools can get quite busy so if you like your space get there first thing. Great view from the top pool and a unique experience.

Great hot springs tour

Great way to visit the hot springs if you don't have a car. Easy pickup and drop off from the CBD, plenty of time at the hot springs.

Amazing

We had a fantastic time on our visit to Melbourne from Canada! I was so amazed at the health aspect of this tour and we did the fire and ice plunge! We all enjoyed our time and are grateful for the experience !

A naturally beautiful area tastefully constructed amenities I would definitely return but it would be much more economical and relaxing to go directly. We were promised that everything was included but we had to pay for lockers and were not permitted in the spa area. More time would have been nice as well

I had THE best day at the hot springs, and would recommend this to anyone! So many different types of hot springs available, and the view from the hot spring at the top was amazing!

Hot Springs Day Out

From the moment you step foot into the establishment it’s like a fairytale. Absolute amazing experience , the hot spring pools are beautiful and relaxing . With many types to choose from and experience. . A robe / towel and locker can be purchased for $25 , well worth the. money . Cafe was okay but also has a restaurant, which I didn’t get a chance to try . Stylish modern well equiped showers / toilet on site as well . Absolutely a must do experience! Leanne QLD

We had a lovely evening in the thermal pools. We got a bit lost so didn’t see everything but the pools were nice.

Spa day

Our adventure for the day was a trip to Peninsula Hot Springs - finally, vic, Australia. It had a pretty good view from the mountain top, which supposedly has the hottest bath with a temperature between 38 degrees Celsius and 40 degrees Celsius. It can be a family day out for the kids as well, but you might have to watch out for the ice-cold water water plungers. Very therapeutical. It's a trip. I see myself going again with

Dom,driver/ guide got us quickly and safely to the beautiful Peninsula Hot Springs were we had 3 hours of thermal water bathing. There's many different temperature pools, sauna, hammam, thermal showers ect. Scenic,beautiful and relaxing. As quickly as we were transported there we were transported back into the City in a clean and comfortable mini van. Will definitely go again.

Relaxation time!!!

Great way to enjoy some relaxation. Our drivers were great. The different temperature pools and views from the top are phenomenal. If you’re brave enough to jump in the plunge pools you might enjoy that too. :) The only thing that would’ve made this even better is if we would’ve gotten at least one more hour of time, other than that it was amazing!!!

Good

Lovely experience in the hot pools and the ride to and back was smooth and punctual. Given the price of the ticket, however, I just wished we could have more time instead of 3 hours at the centre to enjoy the pools a bit more and have a meal there.

Overly Expensive

150$ 3h at the spa... If you go there by yourself is 70$ the entrance with unlimited time. 80$ for a crowded old bus ride... Not worth it

Our driver was friendly,...

Our driver was friendly, but never introduced himself or gave any commentary. The check in staff at the hot springs were rude, didn’t explain how things worked or give any kind of direction. Luckily the springs themselves were spectacular!

Thoroughly recommend. Visited when first opened and landscaping, extra experiences are fabulous now.

Perfect place to soothe body aches and pains … especially enjoyed the extra hot pool and infra red cabin. Rejuvenating.

Amazing service, big...

Amazing service, big shout out to J dog/ Janet our driver/guide! The bus was comfortable with checkin to the hot springs seamless. The hot springs itself was wonderfully relaxing and clean.

Feeling good, relaxing & calming after the hot spring . Sleep very well after the hot spring. Wonderful experience.

Anything but relaxing

Spa. A relaxing space where you can destress and detox. WRONG. You aren't getting that here. How do you like swarms of people? How do you like queues for the tiny pools and everything in there? HOW do you like TIME LIMITS on how long you can stay in the pools? How's ten minutes in the pool for you? Enough time to relax? Don't forget to take your watch, and make sure you are out in time, otherwise the life guard will be on you, like you're a shoplifter in a supermarket. Never felt more stressed and ripped off in my life. After one look around I went straight back to the reception and asked for a refund. After speaking to a rude manager I finally received a PARTIAL refund, but I did not get my money back for the towel, robe and locker. THEY said I had used the towel, I never even stepped in a pool. I would like my money back for the towel please. This is a horrible spa, full of stressful and appalling facilities. Contact me for a refund of the towel I never used. Appalling service anything but relaxing and I would not recommend this place to anyone, unless you are trying to do the opposite of relax and torture yourself. Peninsula hot springs, get in touch to prove you are decent and will refund me.

Dissopointed want a refund

I have been here many times spending a lot of money but this time it was horrible so many people you could not find a spot to relax the atmosphere was ruined by children splashing and the swimming outfits where inappropriate don't get me wrong in not affected by nude people as I am a nurse far from it. it was all the photos being taken with almost nothing on in front of people it was rude then lots of sexualising content to much won't be coming back

would go again in my own car for more time if an opportunity presented. We were tourists so did the tour.

love the natural surroundings, it was more crowded than we would prefer. three hours is a bit rush to get back to our van transport, all previous spa experiences-towels, robe, locker are included or provided wi admission price…

A wonderful experience

The bus trip was very informative and the springs were so relaxing. We will definitely be going again next time we come to Melbourne.

Amazing nature vibes, a relaxing time, a safe trip, and very clean change rooms, tracks and pools. I strongly recommend not public holidays if you want to enjoy the silence.

Relaxing, but rushed

It was about an hour and a half bus ride each way. The hot springs were beautiful and relaxing, but the time alloted to the hot springs seemed too short.

Total disappointment

The worst experience we ever had. We called, and booked a session We had to hire a locker and to robes, which is fine. We went in, and there must have been few hundred people, All pools were full Noise level was high All spots were taken Walked around trying to find a spot to relax, and there was none. Got changed in busy bathrooms and walked out after 10 minutes exactly. When we complained and asked for our money back, we were told that this is how it is.. it is a “PUBLIC BATH”. So, why did we have to “book”, “pay $$$” for a public bah??? Very disappointing and will never recommend to anyone

Perfect relaxing day!

Perfect relaxing day. We scheduled this tour for the last day of our trip, and so glad we did. Perfect way to relax before our long journey home. Our driver, Dom, was friendly and funny and made the 1.5 hour drive go by quickly. We had about 3.5 hours at the hot springs, which was a good amount of time. Make sure to walk around the area to experience the different pools, because the views, water temps, etc. all make the experience. We got back to Melbourne around 3 or 3:30, which still allowed time for more time in the city. All in all, I recommend this tour.

Fab trip

We had a lovely day. Would have been better if the weather was a little bit warmer. But that not what you can control. Enjoyed the day never the less

Relaxation!

A great relaxing day! Janet our tour/driver was such a fun, upbeat person. She gave us some commentary on the way to the Hot Springs. The Peninsula Hot Springs was so relaxing and calming. A great relaxation day. On the bus ride back we all slept, as we were all so relaxed!

R&R that’s great for everyone

A lovely place with plenty of options to relax and enjoy. Friendly environment and helpful staff made the experience easy to access for first timers. Other guests were friendly and made the experience more enjoyable.

Relaxing Experience

We were picked up in the city at 3pm, there was little traffic and we arrived at the hot springs 1 hr and 20 minutes later. I was expecting a few pools and was pleasantly surprised to find more than 20 hot springs. We were there for 3 hrs, but the time flew. Could have stayed longer. Hint: leave everything except your robe and a water bottle in the locker. After having a few hectic days in Melbourne, this was the perfect experience. Wonderfully relaxing. Try and do the sauna followed by the cool pool, it's a great detox. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour and will do it again, next time I'm in Melbourne.

Blissful day out

What a unique experience I had at the Peninsula Hot Springs! I enjoyed a blissful day out trying the many outdoor pools surrounded by natural bush land. Just a pleasant hour and a half bus trip out of Melbourne.

Treat Yourself

Did this day trip on to a bus....after realising getting there by public transp port wasn't and option. Glorious day on. Went early on a Tuesday so not overcrowded. Lovely scenery and I explored every bathing spot. Spent around 4.30 hours there which was plenty of time to enjoy.

Magical escape from the city

Fantastic atmosphere and facilities, especially the new bathroom and change area. The springs were great and all natural, some with amazing views. Very easy transport and the guide was a top bloke. The best I can describe this experience is it’s lile a Disneyland for hot springs. Highly recommend and would definitely go back again.

Weather was perfect- plan your visit during the colder months

The tour was excellent! We met the driver at the regent theater (one of the pick up spots) and had a nice trip out. There were only 8 of us in the bus which is apparently a quiet day. The week before there had been 30. I would recommend choosing a weekday when it's cool and a bit overcast to avoid the crowds. The trip takes about 1hr - 1.5hrs. When you arrive you are given a towel but we also purchased robes for $10 each (most people did) and a locker which was $4 (the lockers are definitely recommended as a different bus will pick you up so you cant leave anything on there). The hot springs themselves are wonderful. The are heated through thermal vents deep underground and then piped to the surface through a bore. The set up is man made but they have made efforts to have it fit into the natural landscape. Start with the hilltop bath before exploring the grounds. Our favourite was the baths near the amphitheater. The Turkish area is also lovely. The area is undergoing significant expansion so depending when you visit (we went in May 2019) more baths or rooms may be open. The construction was not occurring on the day when we were there, it was just evident it was occurring. We had far more time than the tour suggests. We actually got picked up at 3.55pm so there is more than enough time to book a massage or something if you'd like this. They were booked out by the time we arrived on the day. However our experience wasn't dampened by that, we had a perfect day enjoying the pools and relaxing together. Some of the challenge is finding somewhere quiet. Many of the guests like to chat which is fine but can be a little noisy. We liked the amphitheater because there were three pools close to each other and you could move to the quietest. All in all the day was wonderful. Our trip home we had a short tour of some of the local towns but it was still a quick trip. I fell asleep on the way home. Tips: bring a water bottle and thongs. Hire a locker and robe ($10, $4) Go when the weather is cool i.e. May-September. Great place for couples or friends, limited places for kids to play.

Relaxed the Core

If you need some time out to chill I highly recommend this spa experience. Set in a natural surrounds with lots of modern facilities it’s a must do to get away to recharge. Second time I have visited and even better than before with a perfect night experience. Take two towels - one to dry off at the end as you end up soaked and don’t forget your thongs. Loved the water proof bracelet (locker key) and this time we tried the cafe - whilst sitting in our robes dining - an experience in itself.

Feeling Hot Hot Hot!

Get ready for some fun in the spa. We recommend going on a cooler day around 20 degrees or less if your feeling good. As it's a great feeling when your walking around in your bathers or robe to step into a relaxing 38 degree spa to warm you up. It's very pleasant in amongst the trees and shrubs, being out in the fresh air. Take a walk around the lake, up the hill stopping in several hot springs a long the way. There is even a cold plunge pool for the daring. You can stay all day if you wish as they have a cafe with great pizzas and more. It always seems to be busy whenever we go, so be prepared to share your spa.The car park is free and there is a bus stop for public transport. Bring your own towel if you prefer and leave your belongings in the lockers. We would recommend taking a bottle of water around with you and your soon get dehydrated out there. Have fun and enjoy. Very busy, but still relaxing

Went on a Friday morning expecting it to be a little quieter. Public spa areas were still very busy with some spas such as he hill view spa having a waiting line just to get into it! Massage was very nice, only issue is we didn't realise when we called and booked for 3 different people tat they would put us all in the same room at the same time for a massage - just make sure you are clear if you want seperate rooms! Lunch service in the restaurant was very slow, suggest you prebook a seat as it took us 20mins to be seated without a booking.

Day spa on steroids

I decided to have a "me" day and drove to Peninsula Hot Springs from Melbourne (around 90 mins) for a nice relaxing day. This facility is very clean and well managed. Started off with breakfast in the cafe and then set off to discover the many spas, saunas and rest areas available on the way to the summit, which was my favourite spot. There are great views from there and the water is very warm and soothing. I visited in January which can be a very busy time (the carpark was full), but because the area is huge, it still has a lovely, peaceful atmosphere. It's a shame the new Ampitheatre hadn't yet opened, and I hope to return next year to check it out. I've visited the Springs before at night too, which was just as nice, with the area all very well lit.

Relaxing, invigorating day out.

I love the warm or hot springs. Soothing & calming. My recommendation is don’t go on a hot day. It won’t be as enjoyable as a 20degree day.

Vacker miljö och många olika bassänger. Det är absolut bästa termalbad jag varit på. Vi hade också en väldigt trevlig chaufför.
