A more well rounded wine tour doesn't exist.

This was an amazing day. The wineries visited had both lovely wines to taste and informative staff. Adding in a brewery and a chocolate destination rounded this out as a unique experience. The lunch that was provided at one of the wineries was delicious and gave the group additional time to interact, getting to know each other. Our group attending the tour was very international which provided some wonderfully interesting conversations.

What a lovely day in Yarra Valley! Our guide Sean was incredibly informative, stayed on schedule, and accommodated guests as needed. I did this tour on my own and I would highly recommend it for solo travelers or those traveling with friends or family. You drink a decent amount of wine so it turns out that you easily make friends! Sean’s family worked in the vineyards so he knew a lot about the way making process and about local Australian wine. I would recommend this to anyone!

Lovely day in the Yarra

Lovely day out with our passionate tour guide Shaun. Made the day interesting and picked lovely places to go. Lunch was excellent and created a fun group atmosphere for the day. Pacing of the tour was great and allowed for plenty of time at each location.

Great experience

Such a great day with a fantastic tour guide Karen! Easy pick up and drop off location in the CBD and very comfortable travel on the mini bus. Went to some beautiful wineries and really enjoyed the 2 course lunch. Visted knowledgeable vendors throughout the day where we learnt a lot about the area and the wine. The chocolaterie was the perfect finish 😁

Fantastic Tour All Around

Sean really set the mood for the tour from the start. He was very upbeat and welcoming, kicking off the tour with comprehensive information about what to expect and important safety information. As we departed Melbourne, he pointed out key sights, described some of the history of the city, and highlighted activities that might be of interest later on during our trip. The diversity of wineries, as well as a chocolate factory and gin distillery, were fantastic and really gave a balanced introduction to the region's offerings. Lunch was top notch and truly an intimate restaurant experience. Throughout the tour, Sean was truly a guide and not just a driver. We never felt rushed or pressured to buy anything extra. He also had a fantastic sense of humor and really made an effort to engage with each member of the group, ultimately bringing the group together for a great shared experience. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Sean at the helm!

Great Day in the Yarra Valley

We have gone on this tour twice in 2 years and have thoroughly enjoyed it both times. Our Tour Director Sean was very professional and entertaining. Great way to spend a day in the Yarra!

Dont miss this tour - perfect day out.

Everything about this tour was enjoyable. Our driver Karen was a great host, she was friendly and easy going. The tour ran like clock work. The wineries visited were interesting and the hosts doing the wine tasting were informative. We had a beautiful lunch which our group enjoyed. The chocolate factory was interesting and we were spoilt for choice as the place is packed with chocolate to buy, we settled for an ice cream, be warned they are big. The last stop was the gin tasting, again, perfectly run and very enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour. We were a large group of 10 and everyone had a really good day.

Great Yarra Vibe!

Dancing Kangaroos provided a very enjoyable Sunday getaway for the 18 guests. The three wineries ( with lunch) were balanced well and the brewery and Yarra Valley Chocolatiere finished off the day leaving everyone happy and replete. Danny was a friendly guide who balanced information and the days timing very effectively.

Amazing tour of what the yarra has to offer!

This is my second tour with this company and both have been nothing less than amazing! Did the epic mate tour both times and the wineries visited are premium with plenty of wines to taste and lunch was delicious. I visited both the gin and beer places on one of the tours and they offer something different to end the day. The guides offer a range of suggestions for things to try and are passionate about what they do and are more than happy to share their knowledge of the region. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a wine tour of the region from Melb.

Simply the best tour you can find in Melbourne

Among many tours I did in Australia, this is simply the best tour. We had a great day tasting so many different wines at 3 winery, all I able to find some great one to bring home. The bus is absolutely comfortable and the tour guide - Karen is absolutely amazing. I love the foods also. Just highly recommended

Great day out, best birthday present ever

On time, clear instructions on where to meet, excellent and very funny tour guide, good music, beautiful vineyards and wine, great lunch. One of the best day tours I have ever been on, worth every penny. 3 sisters a cousin and a daughter, 2 x 70, 2 x 60 and 1 x 40, loads to drink, lots of fun and informative

Amazing

Danny gave lots of information as we left Melbourne, the drive out was absolutely beautiful the hills were lush and green the staff at St Herbert was beautiful our second stop Sumah we had our lunch it was beautiful I had the chicken ( just wish it had a little mash) but once again the scenery was amazing or third stop a hip little place called patten & jones I ended up buying 2 bottles from this place. Next stop was the chocolate place not much different to Margaret river back home but was very busy with families and other bus tours lar stop was a little bewery what's river the staff were very helpful as I don't drink wine do I was offered gin or vodka hubby loved the beer. Danny throughout the day was amazing he was happy to have a chat and told us lots of information about the winery's will definitely be back.

A fantastic tour, well organised and commentated. Two wine tastings then a substantial lunch which soaked up the alcohol. Another wine tasting then a stop at the chocolate/icecream factory and shop. Alcohol soaked up again before the gin tasting. Lots of fun, not too many people, gorgeous scenery. Highly recommend. Thanks Danny you were an awesome guide.

Great wine and food at beautiful Yarra Valley

Great way to explore the vineyards in Yarra Valley. Our favourite stop for the taste of wine was Soumah. Overall, an awesome tour. Thanks for taking care of us Karen!

A must do tour if in Melbourne

Karen, our tour guide was fantastic! Her knowledge of the wineries, the area and her relaxed but clear structure allowed the day to run smoothly without feeling rushed or rigid. Amazing tour!!! We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and had the best time with our guide, Mike. We visited 3 wineries, had the most delicious lunch, tasted the local craft beers and ciders, and finished the tour with chocolate and ice cream. Best wine tour in Melbourne

Amazing wine tour! Was one of our best experiences here on our trip to Australia..and we’ve done quite a few so far. We had an incredible lunch at one winery. Every stop was delightful & never rushed. Sean, our guide, made it all that much more enjoyable. We had a group of 10 with 1 child, and we all enjoyed every minute of it. 10 out of 10!

Had the best time! Wine tasting at 3 vineyards, the most fabulous lunch, chocolate, gin - and an amazing guide in Karen - what's not to love! This is the only tour with lunch included - and what a lunch it was ! If you only do one tour whilst you're in Melbourne, then make it this one - can't recommend it high enough. Our tour was so well organised, our tour guide was amazing

We had a wonderful time on our tour, our guide Karen was amazing. This is the second tour I have been on and I loved it that much that I came back with my daughters. The organisation of the tour and smaller group was great. Would recommend Dancing Kangaroo tours above any other tours.

A Fantastic Day Out!

Our tour guide Karen was fun and informative from start to finish! She took us to 3 wineries where we got to try 5 or 6 different wines at each stop. Having lunch included with an extra glass of wine at our second stop was definitely a great shout! There was a good choice of food, enjoyed with a lovely view of the vine yard. The chocolatier stop was an added bonus before our final stop at the gin distillery where we sampled 4 gins. Overall it was a great day out for good value. Highly recommended!

Our tour guide Karen was awesome. She has the best personality. She was right on time for pickup. The first winery was fabulous. Lunch at the second one was great. The Beer and Cider tasting was good. And of course, the chocolate was amazing.

Beautiful views and wine

This tour was such a great experience! The views were spectacular despite the drizzling rain and the wineries were just as beautiful. The sommeliers were also very knowledgeable and explained their wines in a way everyone could understand. I chose this tour because it was the only one that offers lunch and I wasn’t disappointed with the menu. Our tour guide, Karen was amazing and kept us entertained the whole way! I highly recommend this tour.

From the land of Oz - wine and Gin and chocolate Oh My!

Fabulous tour - an amazing array of wineries, a chocolatier AND a gin distillery all in one fantastic day. Our tour guide Karen, shines in hospitality, simply the best - a must do while in Melbourne. A side note, our tour attracted 17 people from 8 countries, of all (legal) ages. You cannot help but to have fun enjoying the gorgeous scenery while sipping wine, gin and eating chocolates and ice cream (an added fee but sooo worth it) You wont be disappointed!

Great value and relaxed tour

Very relaxed and entertaining tour our guide (and owner of the business) Andrew made us feel welcome on the tour. The drives between venues isn’t too long and you get a good amount of time at each place for the tasting and to explore. We booked for Easter Monday which meant not all venues were open and some options they usually offer weren’t available but to be honest if he hadn’t of explained that to us we would never have known. The beauty of this tour for me was how customisable it was on the day. I’m not a big wine drinker so being able to break up the wine with whisky, beer or (and if you’re quick!) gin made the experience better. Would highly recommend Teepee tours!!

Karen you're a Legend.

Absolutely brilliant day. We were both shattered having attended the Melbourne Grand Prix for three days, so getting up early was a struggle. But so glad we made the effort. Wine tasting was great fun and the lunch was 5* but the biggest star of all was Karen (not one of those Karens - this one was hysterical). Absolutely great guide that kept us giggling while being highly professional at all times. How does she manage it? Can't rate highly enough. Forget the other tours - this is the one to go for. But make sure you get our Karen. Thanks guys.
