I went to Melbourne take hot air balloon 2022/08/28~09/03 but weather not good canceled everyday until I left. This time I went to there before winter, we did that. Wake up in the 4:30am is pretty cold in the morning but when we stay in sky see the views so beautiful everything is worth it!!!! The views is amazing.

The views of Melbourne from above were breathtaking and offered a unique perspective of the city’s beauty. Our pilot, Viktor, was outstanding, his expertise was evident throughout. Peter, the crewman, was also fantastic, ensuring everything ran smoothly and adding to the overall enjoyment of the experience. Following our flight, we enjoyed a lovely breakfast at the Sofitel with Viktor and Peter. The food was delicious, and it was great to continue the experience with such a friendly and professional team. This hot air balloon ride was a wonderful way to celebrate a special occasion, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure in Melbourne. Amazing experience!

Amazing! It was great to get there in the dark & watch the sunrise over the city while flying over all the landmarks. Even helping to pack up the balloon was a great hands on experience. Highly recommend this tour & would go again.

This is an absolute Must Do experience!!! We received vouchers for this just before Covid and then life got so busy, so we have been waiting a long time to do this. OH WOW!!! It was well worth the wait!!! Absolutely amazing experience! Dom and Mitch were fantastic, got us all involved and put everyone at ease. The flight was seamless, the views were incredible and my appreciation for Melbourne and her beauty has increased immensely. I have so many gorgeous photos and memories. The champagne breakfast was fantastic with more amazing views and good food. The overall experience was five stars and we can’t wait to do it again. Picture This Ballooning were great, so we are going to do their Yarra Valley flight.

What an amazing experience, a bucket list adventure, we were picked up from our Hotel, right on time and travelled to the meeting point. We floated from the Caulfield Race track to the Carlton Gardens. The “Picture this Balloon”crew were very professional, informative and lovely people, they even let you help set up which is also a great experience if you want to get involved. Don our pilot was very experienced and Howie our driver and organiser was also very helpful. There were six other balloons in our fleet but I think ours was the best We can highly recommend this company for your bucket list ballon flight. One very memorable thing was we hovered right over the iconic MCG, we could have landed right in the middle of the ground, it was amazing, along with the views of the city and surrounds and a gorgeous sunrise. The experience could not have been better, breakfast at the Sofitel was also great and heaps of options to choose from.

Taller people be warned...

Taller people be warned! If you stand in the middle of the basket (like we did) the top of your head will get hot from the burners! My husband (6'1") had to wear the hood of his coat to avoid the burning/hot feeling. I'm 5'2" and I could also feel the heat. Otherwise, great experience! Setting up the balloon was interactive and fun as well and the "tear down". The guides (Dom and Jason) were cheery fellows and enthusiastic about piloting balloons. The ride itself was serene and beautiful. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious and gave time to talk to fellow passengers or ask the pilot(s) questions.

Unforgettable morning!

We had the most amazing morning with Dom as our pilot and Peter as our driver. Our flight took off from Caulfield racecourse and landed in Royal Park. This gave us spectacular sunrise views of all Melbourne's landmarks including Albert Park Lake (happy coincidence it was grand prix weekend), the MCG, the Yarra and the city from various perspectives. Dom and the team were utter professionals and we loved every minute of the early morning adventure and the amazing breakfast after. Can highly recommend Picture This Ballooning.

Was a gorgeous morning celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary and we also had the pleasure of watching another couple propose right next to us. Love was definitely in the air .

Well worth the early morning wake up for a great experience

Just drifting gently among the clouds was so peaceful and relaxing. Not knowing where we would land out of all the possible landing zones was a great insight into how ballooning is totally at the whim of the winds and weather.

What an experience Hot Air Ballooning in and around the skyline of Melbourne CBD. Our crew Dominique and Dean were fantastic, they made our flight so special. Where else in the world could you fly a Hot Air Balloon over a city, capturing the landmarks, gardens and high rise buildings and so close you could nearly touch them. It was perfect in every aspect of arrangement and execution from every person giving us that experience. Communication with them was friendly and pleasant. And ballooning itself was even much more interesting and impressive than it was expected after big number of flights on planes and helicopters in many beautiful places including flights above Melbourne. Ballooning is totally different and absolutely delightful. Great thanks!

So peaceful but so fun!

I could not recommend this more. We had Viktor as our pilot who was excellent! He had the perfect balance of being informative, answering our questions, giving safety instructions and allowing us to enjoy the peace of floating in the morning air. Our landing was also very smooth. The entire service, including the efforts of Mitch and Peter, of confirming the flight, check in, transporting us to and from the launch and landing sites, and the breakfast, were 10/10. Being allowed to be involved in packing up the balloon was also really fun. I was jumping from excitement from 4.45am and would do it every week if I could.

The flight was cancelled because of weather- we were not informed and arrived on time for flight. A refund has been requested as it’s impossible to reschedule flight.

The whole experience was fantastic. The team were organized and friendly. Everything went to schedule and we saw a beautiful sunrise over Melbourne. It was followed by a sensational breakfast. A wonderful way to start my 50th birthday celebration. I would highly recommend.

Great views and pilot Donna. Third time lucky getting airborne because of weather. If you have someone from interstate give yourself time to do trip because of weather cancellations. Taylor if I remembered her name correctly in office did great job shuffling this. If you don't like heights like me it's not that bad but if your prone to motion sickness take tablet because when landing you might be turning in balloon to position it for folding etc

Such an unforgettable experience! The views were insane, I don’t think i’ve ever seen a better sunrise! We flew right over the MCG which was beautiful! It was a very smooth flight and the pilot and crew were so lovely. 10 out 10 experience, I couldn’t recommend it more!!

What an incredible experience!

My son and I went on Saturday 16th December, it was a perfect morning! It seems so surreal when you are that high above the city. The sunrise was breathtaking, and the views of Melbourne felt like you could see the entire Victoria from up there. We felt very safe and the breakfast at the Sofitel was the perfect end to the perfect morning! Highly recommend.
