Sum our tour guide was very friendly, and full of knowledge. We discovered hidden bars and learnt the history of the CBD on our Saturday night tour. We all had a great time together while enjoying this great walking tour. highly recommend

A great evening

Great evening - like being with old friends. Met our tour guide Sam who was very punctual and organized. A small group so very easy to chat and make decisions on which bar to have a drink at. Sam was knowledgeable and shared insights and stories. Bars were great, some we knew and others we would never have found on our own. We were able to stop at some and take a peek at others. Well worth out time and a good evening.

Thank you San from Meltours, so friendly & such great knowledge of Melbourne we viewed the many bars & would like to revisit. Not one bad cocktail was had & the choices were endless. Can not wait to get exploring more of the bars shown.

Kathy took us on such a great tour of the Hidden bars in Melbourne. She just went with the flow. If we wanted to stop and have an extra drink somewhere she was happy to oblige. It was such a great night and as a Melbournian I now know somewhere cool to go for a drink in the city!

We had the best time being introduced to the hidden bars of Melbourne. We live in Melbourne and felt like a tourist in our own town. San was the best guide so knowledgeable about Melbourne and pointed many things out to us. Can’t wait to do another tour with MELTours.

Fabulous bar hopping

San was a fabulous guide. I have lived in Melbourne all my life and didn't know about these beautiful little bars. It was a fabulous night. I would highly recommend this tour. Go and enjoy yourself.

Amazing Experience

San, our tour guide was great, very friendly and informative, the bars we visited and saw were amazing. We had a great night and would definitely recommend this to anyone who is visiting Melbourne.

San the Man

San was a very knowledgeable guide and had a clear passion for sharing his insights. A lot of the bars were too busy to get into however we did book the tour with only 48 hours notice. We uncovered some hidden treasures that we will definitely go back to. Our favourite place was a little piano bar that San was able to sneak us into even though it was full. If you’re after a hassle free night and don’t mind where you end up, this tour is definitely something to consider doing.

Fantastic Night!!

Booked the Hidden Bars of Melbourne for my girlfriend 50th Birthday. We had a fantastic night been show around by San. It's a must to do as you will be surprise as how many bars there are in Melbourne hidden away.

The Hidden Bars of Melbourne Tour was fantastic. Melbourne CBD is full of terrific bars that you can search for yourself or, better still, go on a tour with San Khoo who will show you quirky and delightful small places full of character to enjoy cocktails. Melbourne has many stories to tell and this tour was the perfect blend of revealing inner Melbourne's bar scene and some history to give you extra insight.

Amazing Melbourne Hidden Bar Tour with San

WOW, where does one start. Started meeting with San who was welcoming, warm & friendly. Personalised call to confirm we were attending and let us know where to meet n greet. We joined another couple and off we went, small and intimate tour numbers which was great. Our guide San was awesome and we started with an amazing bar, where we also enjoyed one of the two included cocktails. San our guide had some great stories of his treks & travels. He showed us so many hidden bars we would never had known was around inMelbourne. Loved this tour, so worth it. Thank you San great evening where we carried on after the tour. I have included some photo's without the names, coz if you want to know where we went, you should do the tour with San and see for yourself.

The mushroom bar at Storytime is a must see!

Our guide, Sam was fantastic, very friendly and knowledgeable with little snippets of additional laneway information and history as we walked around. the bars we visited were ones that we hadn't previously heard about and were little hidden gems. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and is great value for money.

Melbourne Hidden Bar and Cocktail walking tour

Pru was AMAZING! She was very sweet and took us to places where they had the types of drinks we would like and took us to interesting, different places that we would have NEVER found on our own! She even took us back to our FAVORITE spot and they gave us the recipe for my very favorite drink of the night and by far one of the best drinks I have EVER had!! Thank you Pru!!

Great fun!

Eight friends - all from Melbourne - got together to do something different for a pre-Christmas celebration. Kathy from Mel Tours arrived met us right on time and greeted us with a friendly smile and introduction. We spent a fun night travelling around Melbourne to some great spots, most of which were completely new to all of us. From hidden downstairs basements, to surprised 'doors' that led to great bars you wouldn't have suspected could be located where they are. We had two complimentary cocktails - one at our first venue and one at our last and time and space at other bars if we had wanted to have a cocktail there also. Great tour - my 4th with Meltours in the past 10 years - and Kathy was more like one of the group by the end of the evening. Definitely recommend as a gift or just a night out with friends. We were the only ones in the group and everyone loved it!

One of the Best things we have ever done in Melbourne!

I have been several times to Melbourne, for holidays and to catchup with a Melbourne friend. This time i took my partner who hadn't been before, so I wanted to do something a little different. On a previous visit a girlfriend and I had discovered one of the hidden bars and enjoyed it so much that I thought this would be a great way to get to find more. Kathy our tour guide was amazing, very informative and friendly, and we enjoyed her company as much as we enjoyed the amazing bars we visited! My Melbourne friend who also came with us, has lived and worked in Melbourne all her life and had actually been right next door to several of these bars and never knew they were there until now!! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see and enjoy something a bit different on their next visit. Thank you so much Kathy, we enjoyed every minute of our tour :-)

Planned this tour months in advance and paid. No-one showed. Waiting for my refund. I can't add anymore because we did not do the tour. :(

Fantastic Night - Great Way to See Many Bars

We had a great time and visited numerous bars that catered to a variety of tastes. San was very informative - there are many bars down many alleyways. We definitely went back to a number of bars he showed us on the tour so it was definitely worthwhile. I liked that we went from bar to bar ensuring that we visited many. Thanks again San!!

Fantastic and thank you Kathy

We came into town and meet Kathy who showed us around the most amazing bars. It was only the two of us and upon meeting Kathy she immediately made us feel comfortable and took us on 3 hours of amazing bars. It wasn’t so much a tour but like we had met a friend who was showing us these amazing locations. She was so lovely and made the night memorable. We were a little unsure about coming to Melb with the terrorist attack that afternoon but she showed us why Melbourne is such a fantastic city. Sorry for the late review but thank you so much for our tour. Jo and I lived every minute of it.

So very worth the experience

We had the best time visiting bars we would never have discovered on our own. Behind unmarked doors or up flights of stairs. The host, Cathy, was very engaging. I look forward to doing another tour with her.

<p>Wow! This was outstanding. Exactly what I was looking for. The guide took us to a variety of hard to find bars mostly in back alleys and small streets. If not for this tour, I would have never ventured there on my own and I would have missed out tremendously. The only bummer was we were limited on the number of times we could buy drinks to 3 out of the 12 or so bars we entered. Highly...highly recommend this one for tourists of Melbourne and locals alike. About half of our group were native Melbourne citizens who enjoyed the tour as much as me.</p>
