AMAZING TOUR

I and my friend picked this tour because we really want to see 12 apostles with beautiful sunset view. Our guide’s name is Matt. He is truly kind and gentle. He also has a great sense of humor. The tour took time about 12 hours. Unfortunately, the weather was not so well so that we could not see sunset. Poor us 😅. We really enjoyed this experience tho.

An amazing tour guided by Israel

The most memorable parts are the sunsetting views at 12 Apostles and at the Loch Arc Gorge. Israel is an excellent tour guide, he has good sense of humor, told funny jokes, being patient and held every step of the tour on time. He spotted koalas along the road and stopped the bus to let us take a close look and take photos. It was a great tour and exceeded our expectation!

Great Ocean Road Sunset Special

The views were terrific and we knew we didn't pick the best time to visit bt we got lucky and had a beautiful sunset. Our guide, Lucy, was wonderful and she really made the whole experience. She was educational, very informative and entertaining. Really personable. We ran into her again on another tour and she came right over to say hello.

Joined Go West Tours for the Great Ocean Road Sunset Tour on a Sunday. Enjoyed every single moment of it — especially the highlight at The Twelve Apostles with the sunset in the background!😍 The tour was led by tour guide Lucy. She’s really the best! She brings along an iconic toy penguin during tours and is really great at telling stories with her remarkable knowledge of Melbourne and its various wildlife animals (learnt that she majored in wildlife conservation😮). Staying awake throughout the tour hearing her spontaneous jokes was a delight, haha! Highly recommended tour especially for those visiting Melbourne or the Great Ocean Road for the first time!💯

Long drive but worthed! the views and the sunset were amazing and I aprechated the history, the curiosity and the jokes of Bob, our precious driver! High raccomanded!

Sunset Tour with Bob

Our tour guide Bob was a really charming and funny person who guided us nicely through the Ocean Road. It was a breathtaking experience and I would 100% recommend this trip! The only thing you have to keep in mind is that the ocean road is an old street which means it was a broken,bumpy ride. (We felt a bit sick afterwards. But the views were worth it!🫶🏻

Sunset that you don’t want to miss

The tour is great. The scene along the Great Ocean Road is amazing. The sunset view at Twelve Apostles is stunning. This is a must-go place if travel to Melbourne. Our tour guide Bob is very nice, he also managed the time and schedule very well, we had sufficient of time to take photo and enjoy the view.

Great tour with Emily driving through the ocean road. Our day with Emily was relaxing and fun while admiring the beautiful views of the ocean. The day ended beautifully watching the sunset at the 12 apostles. A tour that I would recommend.

THE BEST TOUR

Our guides name was Aaron and he was AMAZING! My review is 3 months late and I’m still so impressed. The greatest thing I’ve ever gotten to do. Aaron was knowledgeable, funny, and full of advice for the rest of Australia. I cannot recommend this more. 12 hours flew by. Some highlights: Saw the most amazing sunset at the 12 apostles Watched penguins exit the water and head up the shore to dry land for night fall Ate great food Pretty easy pickup and drop off although make sure you check your email and not the app as the departure time is incorrect on the app. They will email you to give you a set time-which I didn’t know so we were waiting for a while (our fault). I was in Australia for 2 weeks, saw Taylor Swift twice there and still tell everyone this was the best thing I did!!! Aaron, the 3 Maddie’s loved you!

Amazing Sunset Tour

A big thanks to the wonderful guide "Chris N" for the amazing " Great Ocean Road Sunset Tour". Very informative tour accompanied by stories shared throughout and we managed to see all the sights and got back to Melbourne by 9.30pm. Chris bothered to remember the names of the members of the tour, which is quite rare.

A Great Experience!

We had a Great day on the Great Ocean Road, enjoyed the most spectacular views of the amazing coastline, had a very close encounter with a Koala who was enjoying his lunch (as were we), took many pictures at the beautiful Loch Ard Gorge and were well on time to watch the sun set behind the Twelve Apostels. Bluey our guide was a very easy-going, responsable person who told us many entertaining stories, has a great sense of humor and outstanding knowledge of the history of Melbourne. He guided us smoothly through the whole day, knew the best stops for food and gave us many suggestions to spend some ltime in Melbourne.

While the weather was not great when we arrived at the Apostles … the tour was one of the best I’ve experienced … it is a very long day though …. Must do in Melbourne

Amazing tour, so so much packed into the day without feeling rushed, and Cloe was an excellent guide who struck the perfect balance between giving us lots of interesting information and allowing us to explore. I’ve done a few tours with various companies now and this is for sure the best!

Probably the best tour from Melbourne

This was an awesome tour all around. The scenery at the Twelve Apostles and other nearby stops is stunning and to experience it at sunset is simply magical. Our tour guide Israel was a perfect source of information, history and entertainment for us throughout the tour. And he had a good taste in music and knew some good jokes too! All in all I'd say this is probably the best tour you can do from Melbourne and I simply can't recommend it enough.

We recently took a trip along the Great Ocean Road with Go West Tours and it was nothing short of spectacular. The highlight was witnessing a stunning sunset at the Twelve Apostles. beautiful tour

This tour was one of the most beautiful things i have ever experienced! The booking, pickup and the tour itself were easy to organize and definitely worth the money. Our tour guide Aaron was a very enthusiastic guide and with his funny manner, he made the tour unforgettable. He always shared his knowledge about fascinating facts about the trip and it was really interesting to follow. Despite the long drive, we took enough breaks where you also have the opportunity to buy food! We stopped at Anglesea, Kennett River, a lookout point, loch ard gorge as well as the twelve apostels right during sunset! I would recommend this tour to everyone!

Must Do in Melbourne

Had an amazing all day tour with my family along the Great Ocean Road. Our guide Aaron was engaging, humorous, and very knowledgeable. Along the three main parts of the drive; the surf coast, and rain forest, and the shipwreck coast he provided a lot of information about the plants, animals, and geological history. The highlight of the tour was the sunset stop at the 12 Apostles, but the entire trip was breathtaking.

An exhilarating yet relaxing tour

It was perfect! The 12 Apostles are awe inspiring! And at sunset, magical. We had a very good lunch and while we only saw 1 koala in the wild, we saw a Koala in the wild! Not everyone can say that! Chris H was really great. We sat in the front and I think we were the only ones talking to him and listening. He was so engaging. Either he's a great actor or he truly loves the area. I think it's the latter as he told us he's going to be honeymooning there soon. He told us a return time at the apostles but also said if the sunset goes on longer not to rush back and miss it. To take our time back. He made all our stops relaxed as while all of us got back to the bus on time, none of us felt rushed. What is also great about this tour is the many hotel pickup locations at a very decent hour and Chris got everyone dropped off really close to their hotels. It was a great day and definitely worth the time.

Terrific experience! Chris (H) is a super host - welcoming, cheerful, and very knowledgeable. The bus was comfy, we had regular stops, and the views were spectacular. Would recommend to people of all ages.

Spectacular scenery along the Great Ocean Road. Well paced tour with stops along the way to stretch your legs, use the restroom, get a bite to eat. Graeme was an excellent driver/guide who gave us great commentary and interesting facts. And fun music. Recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing the historic Great Ocean Road and the iconic Twelve Apostles.

It was a wonderful day and a great way for us to view the local countryside on our was to the Apostles. Jacquie was an excellent host and driver, sharing her knowledge of the coast as she entertained us along the way.
