Great Ocean Road

Our tour was perfect. Our family of 4, 2 adults and 2 teens, had originally signed up for the reverse GOR tour but there wasn’t enough people who signed up so we were put in the regular GOR tour. And it turned out great! Aiden, our guide, was really thorough and clear. The fact that he was funny was a definite plus too! He had very good knowledge of the route, Melbourne history, stories of the places we were to visit and it made everything so much more fascinating. I have been on the GOR before but felt like I was going again for the first time because there was so much back story to each place. Aiden was also sensitive to the needs of the group, careful about safety but very flexible and non-intrusive with the way each person chose to enjoy their tours. With guests who loved to engage, he was very engaging with them, so it was a wonderful road trip for everyone.

Brilliant Tour of The Great Ocean Road

This was the greatest tour I have been on thus far. It was really great to be able to take in the scenery of 'The Great Ocean Road' without having to focus on the road. We stopped at 'Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery' which was an unexpected stop, but quite an enjoyable surprise. I definitely recommend trying out a shot of melted chocolate for $1.50! As the tour progressed our amazing tour guide Graham (or Gray Gray) kept us entertained and informed about different things - sharing his specific knowledge too. The benefit of tours like this is that you get to see and experience things you otherwise would have overlooked exploring these places yourself. They give you a good taste, and now I would quite like to drive it myself at some point in the future. The highlight for me, without a doubt was 'The Twelve Apostles' - what a breathtaking view, especially as the sun begins to set. The whole tour was a delight, and I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone!

Beautiful day awesome views. Chris "Kiwi" is a great guide constantly giving historical and interesting background about where we are. His history of the construction of the Great Ocean Road was especially enlightening. Highly recommended tour - so much on one (very) long day. The "reverse" tour is definitely the way to go.

Spectacular Road with spectacular scenery! Our Guide Kiwi was very knowledgeable and friendly! Highly recommend! He gave great commentary on what we were seeing and the history of the spots.

Amazing tour with great guide Aidan

Made this tour today with our guide Aidan. Great guy who gives great explanation with some history and humor. Really enjoyed the tour with great views off the ocean and a nice walk in the rainforest. We did the tour in reverse order so there was almost nobody and we could take great pictures. I really suggest this tour.

ILKAY our driver/ host made us very welcome and relaxed. The tour was very well delivered in an enjoyable way with intervals of appropriate music. Although it is a long tour ILKAY made it interesting with his sense of humour, knowledge and professionalism.

An unmissable trip to the Great Oceans Road.

The tour guide was very informative. We got multiple breaks and the tour did not seem too long nor hectic. We got enough time to visit the main locations as mentioned in the trip and even more. The tour was completely worth it !

our tour guide works real real hard. He treats all visitors with enthusiasm. Every story he tells visitors is accompanied by appropriate music. He deep cleaned the bus when visitors ate in the restaurant.

We had an absolutely fantastic time with our guide Chris P - ‘’Kiwi’’, he was full of great information about each place we visited on the tour and provided lots of background information too. We would highly recommend anyone going on this tour with him.

Must do tour when in Melbourne

Chris (Kiwi) was a great guide/driver. He was extremely knowledgeable and taught us a lot. It was great to have him accompany us on a couple of the walks. It is a long day but we worth it. Highly recommend this tour and would love to have Kiwi on any other tour. He us a wealth of history and stories.

The unforgettable tour in the great ocean road!

I really had a blast during my trip and I would like to commend Adan for all the great tips and information during our trip! I learned alot! It was really an amazing trip and I would truly recommend this trip if youre going to melbourne. Thank you once again adan for a comforting/relaxing trip. It may be a 1 day trip but it seems that everything is not in a rush and the flow of the tour is perfect! Cheers!!

We went on the Great Ocean Road Reverse tour with Nial (sorry for the spelling). We had a wonderful day, and Nial was simply incredible!! He was a wealth of information and was a very safe driver during the long, windy road drive. Thank you for a great tour.

Nice day with Kiwi

Chris P aka Kiwi is clearly passionate about his job. He was very informative and kept me engaged throughout the journey with his interesting facts and stories with a little humour thrown in here and there! The views are lovely and I can imagine they are even better on a sunnier day.

Super knowledgeable guide

Chris P (AKA Kiwi!) was a great tour guide. He was super knowledgeable about everything and eager to share as much as he could. The bus was clean and comfortable. We didn’t have great weather which was such a shame as I think the views would’ve been even better but it was great to see so much of “real” Australia. An early start and a long day but the sandwiches for lunch were really lovely and there were plenty of comfort breaks.

Great day trip if you want to get to the 12 apostles before the crowds. Jeremy the tour guide and driver was awesome! Very knowledgeable and funny! Even though we went through some windy roads Jeremy's drive was pretty smooth.

10/10 wonderful day trip out!

Brett (with the mullet!) took us on the 13 hour day tour along the Great Ocean Road. He was super enthusiastic, had so much information for us and was generally an all-around fantastic guide. We got to see some amazing sites and got to see koalas and kangaroos. Would absolutely recommend!

We originally considered doing the Great Ocean Road on our own and we are very grateful we didn't. Vicky was fantastic! She's very knowledgeable, open and fun. I learned a lot during the trip and truly enjoyed the day!

Such a great trip!

Great trip on the Great Ocean Road

We had a wonderful trip with amazing views of the spectacular coastline and scenery. The coach was comfortable and everything went to plan. Our driver Aidan filled us in with a lot about the history of the area and kept us amused with various anecdotes. Our expectations were fully met.

Aidan is the best driver and guide ever! Happy birthday! We were fortunate to have Aidan to be our guide in our first trip in Melbourne. He’s humorous and intelligent. He shared a lot of stories during the trip which is fantastic.

Lovely Day

It was a lovely trip. I would have liked to be able to stop where we could have been at the beach near the apostles to get some pictures from the ocean floor. Our driver was great, funny and insightful.

Reverse ocean road

Our tourguide Janet was a genuinly nice person. Assured us that doing it in reverse was a good way to go. Because of this we didnt have much crowd at most places. She even fit time in for us to watch some kangaroos

No woke virtue signalling nor anti-religious rants on the job please!

While there wasn't a problem with my experience of the Great Ocean road trip, there were some issues with our driver, Aiden, that left a sour taste in my mouth. On the upside, I found Aiden very welcoming, friendly and accommodating to us as a group. However, the problems I encountered were, firstly, he was giving acknowledgement to first nations people as owners of the land. In all fairness to Aiden, maybe he was just honouring company policy (Austopia). But if that's the case, this will be my first and last time with Austopia. I also went on a day trip to the Mornington Peninsula with a rival company and there was no race politics from their driver. In addition, Aiden was banging on about how mistreated aboriginals were. Regardless of what we believe, I paid for this trip to escape things like the indoctrination of race politics and other stressors of life. Returning back. Aiden called for our attention when we stopped outside the church of the 'flying spaghetti monster' to herald the court victory they won for their right to tax exemption, exclaming out a YEAH!!! with a fist pump, emphasising his anti-religious bias. Once again, in fairness, Aiden probably assumed that there were no religious people to upset. However, I myself am a practising Christian and I felt very marginalised after his 'victory' rant. His political/religious beliefs should not be expressed this way while on the job.

Amazing experience with fantastic stories

We had an amazing tour to the twelve apostels: reverse. We had a fantastic guide: Aydan. He shared fantastic stories about the history inclusief the aboriganal background: very respectful. Love to be your shotgun.

We had a great day trip on the reverse tour, starting off in Melbourne and heading to the twelve apostles before heading back down the coast. Our guide, Aidan, was so informative and helped keep spirits high on what is a long 13 hour day! Would definitely recommend!

tour leader is very friendly, chill and not pushing us to do extra package or purchase by all means, plus very pleasing to hear good ausie accent.

Good trip, great stops very interesting learning about the history of the road from the driver/guide. Ocean scenery apostles was beautiful the rain forrest was definitely a very pleasant surprise.
