Fantastic way to spend a few hour’s sightseeing around Melbourne with lunch in a lovely little cafe in Fitzroy. We covered a lot of ground in the 4 hours and Finn our guide gave us enough history and facts without overloading our brains.

City cruising!

Finn, our guide, was so lovely and relaxed, helping show us so much around Melbourne that we'd never seen before. It's given us a new perspective on the city. Our stop for lunch in Fitzroy was so yummy and the bikes a breeze to ride. We'll definitely recommend this tour to anyone of any fitness level. Go and do it!!

Great tour.

The tour was excellent, and the bikes were great. Our guide Finn was knowledgeable and informative. He was attentive to all of our needs and ran the tour in a safe and efficient manner. My only negative was that he was continually putting forward his politically woke viewpoints and spin. My advice would be to stick to the facts about Melbourne and the tour, and you'll keep everyone on it happy!

4 hours of fun rooted in history

Tour covered many key parts of the city and focused on their history including key events and people that shaped Melbourne. EBikes worked flawlessly and guide made shore we were safe inclusing some practice near the shop before we started. Highly recommend this tour and this bike shop!

Enjoying easy bike ride while learning about Melbourne

A great way to see Melbourne! Easy riding route. Mostly on walking/bicycle paths, only a portion on the road with cars. Freddie did an excellent job of keeping our group together and safe and providing information and history of the area.

Great Experience

Our guide, Finn, was exceptional. He offered significant detail and insights into his narrative regarding Melbourne’s history and landmarks.. We never felt uncomfortable riding through the busy sections of the city. Favorite sights included the War Memorial, Sports Complex, Botanical Gardens, Chinatown, the skyline and the river front. Wonderful!!

We LOVED this tour!! Freddie was a wealth of information, and the e-bikes were amazing. We covered so much of the area, and Freddie provided great context as we traveled through each section.

Ez provided an excellent bike tour of Melbourne's gardens, river, athletic and historical sites in city centre. Impressive with the green space and beauty. Lunch was delicious at Ftzroy Cafe.

Rad Ride in Melbourne

We had an excellent time with Freddie giving us a bike tour through Melbourne (a very bike friendly city). We got to see and experience the history, and love of sports of Melbourne. Freddie also took us to an awesome place to eat for lunch. Highly recommend this bike tour. Loved Melbourne.

Fun tour!

We had a great time with Izzy! I was nervous about riding bikes in the city and he made it fun. We enjoyed our stops and the pace of the tour. The bikes were great too.

Interesting insight into Melbourne

Excellent way to see Melbourne and learn something of its history. Our guide was engaging and knew lots of interesting stuff about the origins of Melbourne and its place in Australian history. The e-bikes were easy to use and well-maintained.

Make your own breeze on a hot day

Temp was over 100f but the ride was great making our own wind on the e bike . Lunch was great . Tour guide Ben kept us all safe on the roads

Tour guide was excellent..he really knew his history and way around a really nice city. The Japanese restaurant we went to for lunch was an unusual treat...gave our guide a tip.

Top tour

I did the ebike cycling tour. Freddy was not just informative but very witty and entertaining. The bikes were brand new and very good. We moved at a pace comfortable for most levels of fitness and got a great tour of the areas just outside of the Melbourne CBD. Great lunch spot stopover.

Fun and easy way to explore!

A fun way to explore the city! Learned a lot, stopped for pics often, ate a nice lunch at a tucked away restaurant we would not have found on our own. E-biking made it easy and Melbourne is very bike friendly with many bike lanes.

Best $$ spent to get to know Melbourne

Freddie was incredible! Very knowledgeable about the city and kept us ducklings from going astray. Bikes worked wonderfully. And Cibi for lunch was fantastic! Cannot recommend highly enough. We even rented the bikes for the rest of the day to take the route to St Kilda on our own. Google maps tour worked well but having Freddie guide was better. Will probably rent them again for a day when we are back in town to do the other four routes they have available. Best $$ we have spent on a vacation in a while. Really got the flavor of the city and have more insight to the culture than I thought possible. Thanks!!!

Melbourne highlights

Finn our guide was great… very safe and looked out for all. Beautiful city. I had just had a knee replacement three months prior and they were so helpful in making sure I felt comfortable. I had used electric bikes before but appreciated concern for my safety.

See so much of Melbourne in one tour

We moved from every part of the city and received interesting explanations and stories about what we were seeing. Our guide was excellent and did not bore us with boring, minuscule details. Great balance of detail and humor.

Cruising through Melbourne

It was my first time on an Ebike. Everything was provided and instructions were given. Wow I’m hooked Ebike is a great way to tour around a city or countryside. We got to ride around Melbourne with little effort if desired. A great way to get a feel for where things are located and then go back if you want to do a more extensive visit. I would highly recommend this as one of your first tours.

We had some travel issues and the Blue Tongue Bike Group were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Great company. When I mentioned we were working with them to the concierge at our hotel they also confirmed that they are the best in town.

Fun Way to See Many Melbourne Highlights

Well maintained E-Bikes which have plenty of battery range to complete the tour even on maximum assist the whole time makes this an easy and fun way to cover a lot of ground. Finn was our guide and did a great job of keeping us moving from place to place. Starting location on the park by the Yarra River makes check-in and return easy with a lot of space to get ready and get familiar with your bike. We liked the lunch break at a location without any crowds. Going during peak season means you will have to ride through and with a lot of pedestrian, e-scooter, and some motor traffic at various times going from one location to another. Would recommend using this outfitter.

Great day touring town!

Loved it! Great tour of town with several stops for historic insights and photos. Our guide was very attentive and knowledgeable. You ride mainly on bike paths - but several shared areas too where you maneuver with pedestrians and cars. You’ll have a blast!

Worth every penny!

Freddy was the best guide! He told us history, he’s energetic and made the trip so fun!! We stopped and ate at a little restaurant which was delicious!! The e-bikes are fun, they were in great working condition! Freddy kept track of our large group of 8 people! Freddy is very personal and was a lot of fun! Would highly recommend this tour if you’re wanting to see Melbourne!

Perfect E-Bike Tour of Melbourne

Tour was awesome and Freddy, our tour guide, was fantastic. He knows Melbourne and passed along just the right amount of interesting history. Bikes were in great shape and tour route was perfect. Lunch at a Great neighbourhood was a bonus.

My wife and I spent part of our 25th Anniversary with Matt and the Blue Tongue team touring Melbourne on e-bikes! We could not have enjoyed it more. The sights were incredible and the local guide was knowledgeable and personable. We highly recommend for anyone wanting to see a lot of this city in a short amount of time, as well as learn about its amazing history. The e-bikes make the ride easy and the bike lanes and route are safe. Perfect for cruise ship excursions on your own.
