An amazing experience with great team

This trip was everything I wanted. Lucas and his team put together an amazing experience with great wildlife viewing, comfortable tents, delicious meals, and wonderful hospitality. Lucas, the owner and our guide, is deeply knowledgeable and offered clear, thoughtful interpretation of what we were seeing. He is clearly passionate about providing a first-rate experience, and we felt we were in good hands from beginning to end. For photographers like me, he was attentive to lighting and scene composition, often putting us at just the right spot for a great shot. The tents are spacious and the bedding is warm, and we enjoyed staying in camps amidst the wildlife. Food was plentiful and delicious, and I appreciated that all food and drinks (including beer, wine, and G&Ts) were included in the price (many tours charge extra for drinks and exclude some meals). I will definitely call on Lucas again when I go back to Botswana.

Best Safari Ever!

Lucas was absolutely incredible from start to finish. He was very responsive and easy to communicate with and made preparing for the safari so easy by sharing lots of really useful tips including a packing list. The safari itself actually exceeded my expectations (and I had relatively high expectations of Botswana)! Our safari vehicle was much better than any others we saw on safari. It's got some great modifications which make it perfect for photography! Plus, Lucas' team was fantastic. Our chef, Mosa, was a culinary genius and his food was so delicious. The rest of the team really went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable time mobile camping. The tents were also fantastic with comfy beds. Onto the safari, Lucas is an exceptional guide. He knows everything about the flora and fauna of Botswana and is really fantastic at tracking and understanding their behaviour. We saw every animal that we wished to see and more. My wish-list was wild dogs and leopards and we had incredible sightings of both! Wild For Game Safaris was absolutely amazing and I'd feel confident recommending them to anyone who wishes to go on safari in Botswana. I can't wait to come back and go on another safari with Lucas!

Disappointment!

disappointment! This safari experience is not worth the money. They were late picking us up from Maun airport. The car was just average and not as shown on their website and not the best for game drives. The guide was not very talkative and was not really giving much information about the animals... Not recommended

Best Botswana Safari

My wife and I went on safari with Lucas and his crew back in August 2021, and it was without question one of the best things we have ever done. We can't speak highly enough of Lucas. His passion for wildlife and conservation is second to none, and because he is an amazing photographer himself, he always stops at exactly the right spots and angles for you to get stunning pictures of the wildlife. He also excelled at providing a personalized experience for everyone in the group; some people wanted to see birds, others wanted the big game, one person even wanted to see bush babies. Lucas informed them that bush babies would be tough to spot, but he would do his best.. Lo and behold, Lucas found her some bush babies in an evening drive!! It was an absolutely amazing experience. In addition to his exceptional safari guide skills, he is an amazing person to be around, genuinely funny and charismatic! I cannot recommend Lucas enough, and the bush camping safari provides a way to see the animals up close and personal that a traditional safari camp can't provide. The accommodations were perfect and the food was awesome, especially considering the limited equipment that the chef has to work with! We thought that this trip was our once in a lifetime trip, but it was so amazing that we will definitely be back to see Lucas!! Thanks Lucas, Alex and Taylor

Amazing Botswana Tour

I had an amazing time traveling through the north of Botswana this summer together with my family/friends and Lucas. It was an absolute dream of mine to visit Botswana and see the unbelieveble nature and wildlife that Botswana has to offer. During our 10 days of safari my expectations were by far exceeded. Lucas was an amazing guide and always knew where to go/stay and how long to wait there. It was impressive and very interesting to hear what he could tell us about basically anything we saw and also how he could answer literally any question we had. He does not only know a lot about the wildlife in Botswana, but was also able to bring all the information across in an understandable and fun way, being able to fully grab your attention (even when talking about topics I myself was not that interested in). In those 10 days we were able to see so many amazing animals including wild dogs with pups just after hunting an animal, Hyenas also with cubs directly next to our car, Lion cubs, a leopard with its cub and many more animals especially elephants, which we saw every single day (also with baby elephants). Also when resting during breakfast, dinner or lunch it was always fun to talk with Lucas and learn more about Botswana in general and some differences between Botswana and Germany/Europe. I would definitely recommend to everybody to book a trip with Lucas, as this was one of the most fun and interesting trips I have been on, but sadly it went by way too fast. If I could I would do a trip with Lucas again anytime.

Lucas is, without question, one of the best wildlife guides and drivers working in Botswana. He is knowledgeable, good-humoured and great company. He is excellent at finding wildlife and a good photographer in his own right. Everyone who chooses to see Botswana - and go on a wildlife drive with Lucas - is impressed by his both his professionalism and passion for the Okavango Delta and surrounding areas. I could not recommend him enough!

I always say that you can't argue with results and this was definitely one of those times. What an unbelievable experience with our guide Lucas leading the team. His skills and knowledge are second to non it was an absolute pleasure not only to experience the wildlife which was litteraly everything we could have imagined but the company within our camp that made it even more special.I couldn't recommend a trip with Lucas and his team highly enough. Holiday of a lifetime

I had so many incredible experiences on this trip. It was very well organised and the staff catered to all our needs. Our guide, Lucas, was perfect; his knowledge of the flora and fauna was second to none as well as being polite, patient and easy-going.

Botswana a Trip of a Lifetime

We actually did this safari in 2019 with our friends and when Lucas and his team were working through Recreational Equipment Inc in Seattle. The safari was the same as the one shown here. It was a trip of a lifetime for us and our friends. Lucas and his team were outstanding and took care of every need. We are really happy we did a tent safari because you are right out their in the wilds of Botswana. Lucas and his team were so knowledgable about the wildlife and their habitat that it just added to the experience. We are so happy that Lucas has formed his own tour complany because he has so much to teach others about Botswana. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who is looking for a real Botswana safari.

Best ever experience

This was the most amazing trip we have ever undertaken. The welcome, the company, the food and the wildlife are second to none. You just never knew what you were going to see next. Lucas is the most knowledgeable and friendly guide we have ever met. He made every sighting an experience you never forget. He was a fantastic guide, all the camp assistants and the chef were fabulous. A really great group of people. I could quite honestly do this trip every year if I could, every day is different and every experience is unique. If you choose to go on this tour with Lucas and his group, you will not be disappointed. Life is too short, do not miss out on an experience of a life time. It is a trip like no other. Botswana is a beautiful country with a diverse landscape, its amazing and unique.

perfect photo safari in the Okavango Delta

We, a group of 5 people, were traveling with Lucas in April 2022. From the beginning, I got to know Lucas as a careful, very experienced guide who was also very concerned about our safety. He even helped with the search for a so-called "friendly bush" - if we had to. I don't need to say much about his competence as a guide. From early in the morning, with the best photographer's light, to the beginning of the night, when the light was also the best. Sometimes we even did night game drives. We were able to see and photograph the most beautiful sunsets there. But the starry sky was also fascinating. The bush cuisine tasted excellent. I couldn't believe what you can conjure up in the bush with these means. We always got a fresh cake with our afternoon coffee. The accommodations (tents) were well equipped, you have everything you need. We could also shower every day. Lucas always tried to do everything to our satisfaction. And he did that very well. Starting with trying to find out at night where the lion's roar was coming from, for example, and communicating with other guides to find out where which animals were. He is very well connected. This meant that we were able to see a large number of animals. Starting with 6 leopards, 2 even with their cubs, lionesses and of course hippos, giraffes, zebras, eagles, etc. But a lot of attention was also paid to the small inhabitants. He knew many of them, and the rest were looked for together in the book. Since he takes photos himself, he knows exactly how to position his vehicle to get the best view and the right light. If I were to come to Botswana again, I would book Lucas as a guide again. I can only recommend him to anyone who wants to experience something like that. This is pure Africa.

Pure Africa - best safari of my life

After having been on many safaris in Southeast Africa, this safari was definitely the best. The organization and the locations chosen for the camp were exceptional, off the beaten track, but the sightings were right under our noses. The equipment and especially the food from the "African cuisine" were amazing - from pepper steak to creme brulee. The absolute highlight was our guide Lukas. After I had previously taken part in a ranger course and had been prepared through months of study, I really put Lukas to the test and, thanks to his incredibly extensive knowledge, he had an answer to every question... and in a very entertaining way! Even for non-native English speakers, his English was very easy to understand. This moving safari cannot be compared to any lodge safari or normal camping safari. You can experience pure Africa and its animals up close and don't have to forego any luxury. I can't imagine a nicer way to find yourself and to "detox from digital devices". A unique experience and more than recommended, every euro invested is worth it!

Dream trip through northern Botswana

Our tent safari through the north of Botswana (Chobe-Savuti-Khwai-Moremi) was a fantastic experience thanks to our guide Lucas. After numerous trips to Africa, the safari with Lucas was an absolute highlight and an extraordinarily intense experience. Lucas is an extremely well-trained and very patient guide. He has an extremely good anticipation of the situation and gave us fantastic animal experiences. Almost always in the best position to observe animals - take photos, always waiting patiently for exciting situations, he can answer any question about flora and fauna. Thanks to his very communicative nature, we learned a lot about the country, people, nature and development of Botswana. We all (6 fellow travelers) had a lot of fun and were never bored. The overnight stays in the middle of the wilderness, close to nature, in the mornings and evenings with a warm campfire (it was cold at night) were fantastic as we were always alone. 10 days without telephone, internet, electricity, running water and lots of animals are unusual even for Africa - Thank you Lucas for a great trip.
