Perth experiance

Was not expecting to see so many Dolphins was a great experience, must do if you visit Perth, host new her stuff was very informative.

Fab trip - reccomend for families!

This was a great experience! Friendly, helpful staff at the office and gift shop. Boat arrived right on time and was boarded promptly. Matteo (skipper) and Leigh (commentator / guide) were friendly, funny, and very good communicators. The safety briefing was thorough without being long and boring. We saw dolphins pretty quickly, and I appreciated the respect that Matteo showed them by waiting for the dolphins to come to the boat rather than chasing them. Leigh is very knowledgeable about the local area, bird life, and the marine mammals and clearly has a passion she wants to share. It was interesting learning about the canals and seeing the houses from a different perspective. At the front of the boat, there is a kids station with a steering wheel, bell, and telescope. This kept the kids on the boat happy for a long time as they all waited with their parents to take turns. There is a toilet and bar downstairs. However, we ended up not using either. A great experience overall, thank you! 😊

Best part of mandurah

What a friendly crew, my mother is new to perth and I wanted her to show around nice place, came across mandurah and cruises, she loved everything about it, had a nice tour in the cruise with explanations, and the best part dolphins!!

Dolphins galore on a cool autumn afternoon.

Two of us live locally, but we still enjoyed the stunning dolphins. We were lucky to see over 30 (I actually lost count). Some swim right alongside the boat, beautiful creatures.

Great experience with many dolphin sighting

Managed to see several dolphins during the 1 hour ferry ride. Definitely worth visiting. You can even have fish and chips on board.

Best of Mandurah

Great tour, friendly staff, saw lots of dolphins, beautiful houses and wetlands. Perfect enough time in the boat. Reasonable priced beer. Had a wonderful time.

Love the Dolphins

we saw so many dolphins and our friends from the UK were very impressed. The commentating was truly fantastic, that young lady has a good gift. This has been our 2nd trip within 3 weeks as we have had rellies over from the Eastern states, and they thoroughly enjoyed it.

Best Dolphin experience ever, great trip with a fish and chip lunch for $14 each

Amazing experience with a pod of bottle nose dolphins following us for at least 10 minutes and a very tasty and excellent fish and chip lunch provided for $14 each. Would highly recommend, we’ve done this trip several times before but this was by far the best experience with dolphins.

It was good

The staff are very nice but we havent clearly seen dolphin playing around.. cause when they said we can see dolphin on our right/ left or in front, when we look we just saw the tail only...

Beautiful Skies & Witty Chatter!

Both the Skipper & Boathand's commentary were witty & interesting. We did see dolphins & I was impressed that the MC knew the names of the dolphins! A great little pootle around the bay - thank you. I am now looking out for flying TimTams on my journeys!!!

Highly recommend this cruise.

Highly recommend. Lots of dolphins and the stuff were knowledgeable and accomodating. It was nice they let everyone move about the boat for different views and it was just the right length of time.

Our granddaughter absolutely loved seeing the dolphins swimming next to the boat. We had a pod of 4 racing the boat .

It was great to be on the water and nice seeing some Dolphins, the bird life and just a wonderful time site seeing. Totally love the Mandurah area.

Highly recommended!

I booked the day before for my daughter and I. A well organised cruise/tour. We thoroughly enjoyed it and saw approximately 10 dolphins, including two playful ones jumping alongside the boat which had everyone excited. Commentary was very good and informative. We enjoyed being able to move around the boat freely and my daughter loved the having the opportunity to use the kid's captain wheel and binoculars. We are looking forward to doing this again soon.

Pleasantly Surprised

We did this cruise at the suggestion of our friends and were pleasantly surprised at the extent of the tour and the commentary was exceptional. Saw a very quick flash of a dolphin’s tail but that’s nature. Thank you or a lovely afternoon.

Wow! Beat cruise offered by Sea West .

 We were truly spoilt with 2.5 hours of breath taking scenery and Dolphin's galore who put in extra appearances along our journey. It was fantastic to see a new mother with her baby calf. We thoroughly enjoyed the cruise with Captain Francis and 2IC Emily. They were so very kind, helpful and informative. A very helpful lady, rearranging our cruise from Tuesday 2nd April to Saturday 6th April so that we could take advantage of viewing the Giant Troll on the water as well as Dolphins. Ask for the 2 hour Giant & Dolphin Cruise.

Must do in Mandurah

Friendly and welcoming crew made it a fantastic experience. Scenic views, relaxing and peaceful time, what else a person would ask for to enjoy the perfect weekend?!

Dolphin cruise

The guides knowledge of the local area r& the Clara & fauna was great. Seeing the dolphins & birdlife were highlights. being able to move around the vessel was good also

NEARLY

We didnt quite make it this time as they had engine problems so the cruise was postponed by the company who offered everyone a full refund or an alternative cruise on another day. Good on the. We have cruised a few times before.There was still a big que even on a Thursday in March. It was a warm day and UNFORTUNATELY there is NO SHADE . The Council should do something as it was BOILING and NOT suitable for our climate

Wild life & architecture

A pleasant day with something continually different to look at and a nice breeze on a hot day, if you keep asking for more I will delete.

not much to see in tour

it was below average experience.There is not much to see in this tour that what i experience. actually i did not see dolphin may be it could be they are not in mood to come out and show some move.one time experience if you doesn't have anything to then go for it otherwise don't do this.

Need a shade near the jetty to queue before the cruise. Otherwise everything was perfect. Great informative friendly staff.

Dolphin cruise

the area and being on the water, however very little of the commentary could be heard. Very echoey and unclear. Not overcrowded.

Mixed experience

We didn't have too much luck with dolphins (if I'm ever back in Australia, I can come back for a free re-try though, per the satisfaction policy), but we got to see a lot of birds such as osprey! The waterways are very interesting, I would have loved to have more time out at the nature section at the end. I had booked the 11:30 cruise because I wanted the fish and chips option, but I learned on the boat that you have to book that ahead of time - I guess maybe by calling them if you book through Tripadvisor? (If you check their direct website, you can see the information there). But I also learned that I could just go to the fish and chips place (next to the boat dock) and get my own order afterwards, which is what I did.

Bad service

We wass walkkng to where the boat take off and we ask a boat guy which boat it was and then that guy told us to go to the cruise counter out side Mandurah and the guy point that boat out so we was walking to it and the boat just took off not even a phone call to see how far we was last time we book we got a phone call from a lady and this time nothing and can't even get my money back :(

Entire Trip was memorable for us. Crews was very good making a fantastic memory. Made sure they will show the Dolhin for sure till such time they wait take us through it

Dolphin criuse

Excellent experience, there were 4 dolphins in the canal area, the commentary was great, she knew their names, great to see them in the wild. Value for money, exceeded my expectations. Top marks

Too crowded on such a hot day.

It was too crowded. So many people on such a hot day. No air conditioning. The unit they have couldn’t be turned on as it trips the electrics.

The extent how Mandurah has grown. Astounding. Eventually found the dolphins at the end of the trip. A real experience.

Skipper and Guide made our day!

Skipper Craig and guide Amy deserve a huge thank you! They missed THEIR lunch break and extended our boat tour specifically to find us dolphins! Being wild animals it’s never a 100% guarantee but they made sure it happened. I’ve never been more thankful! Their information was great and very informative. Amy knew the names on the dolphins which was incredible and the scenic tour itself was such a great sight to see. Beyond informative. Thank you from the Canadians.

We had a lovely day the teams was amazing , we enjoyed seeing Multiple dolphins as soon as the cruise started it was amazing. Would highly recommend for everyone.

Mandurah Dolphin Cruise

Had an awesome day with my 13yo daughter seeing the Dolphins. The tour guides were full of fascinating information along the way from heritage to now about the land, wildlife, buildings & real estate, it was light hearted and very comfortable. Great trip guys 💙
