Great tour. Highly recommended.

We took the ecotour with Tim. It was a fabulous experience. We learned a lot from him and he is a great storyteller. We walked through the mangroves, walked on a deserted beach, had morning tea on Westpoint and returned with the feeling that we had a half day well spent.

Very interesting walk amongst the mangroves. Tim was very knowledgeable about the area and spoke well about the history and geography of the island .

Great Tour of Maggie

We had a great day touring the back end of Maggie with Tim. He was very knowledgeable and was a great guide, telling us all about the trees, fauna and the mangrove swamps. We also managed to see a Koala thanks to Tim's perseverance! All in all a great day and would highly recommend this trip as a way to explore the best of Magnetic Island.

A fascinating insight into a beautiful part of the island.

Absolutely superb! A fascinating insight into a beautiful and (fortunately!) lesser visited part of Maggie. Tim is both extremely knowledgeable and highly entertaining. And, whilst the tour was conducted at a comfortable, leisurely pace, we came away with a wealth of new knowledge and fabulous memories. Thank you for a brilliant and extremely enjoyable morning.

A fascinating eco adventure on Magnetic Island

I first went on West Coast Eco Adventure in February, taking a second tour last week (March 2024). I thoroughly enjoyed both tours, and each was a little different. Tim is so informative and knowledgeable and is obviously very passionate about showing off the ecological aspects of Magnetic Island. The tour was very relaxed but professionally conducted. The bonus was that we saw 4 koalas in the wild - so exciting 😄 We were provided with a beautifully presented morning tea at the beach.

Great tour. Had a great time. Guide was very informative. Would recommend as you see a unique part of the island not accessible by normal vehicles.

If I could I would give this a 11/10. What an amazing day lead by Tim. He was an amazing host and was also very knowledgeable of the environment. I would recommend this too anyone as it was the perfect day out.

A trip worth doing

Best way to visit the West Coast. Tim was a great guide and we learnt so much. So much better than going on our own.

Brill West Coast trip with Tim - Planet lover and well informed ecologist

We had a brilliant trip with Tim in his 4WD down the remote West Coast of Magnetic Island. Tim is a minefield of information about the Island, especially the flora, fauna and ecology. A very good way to spend 3 hours and see more of the lovely Magnetic Island. Tim also provides a nice snack and drinks at remote West Point. The yo-yo biscuits were especially good.

Forest guide activities that require fluent English skills

Special scenery, excellent mangrove ecology, and an unexpected encounter with a koala was really great. The guide introduced the history of Magnetic Island and the common plants and animal ecology of Magnetic Island, and gave us many amazing stories and adventures . The short afternoon tea break was also very comfortable and beautiful. If I have the chance, I hope to stay longer and take more photos.

Great tour along the west coast

Our guide was great and was able to give us a lot of background information about the island and the fauna. Even though there were only two of us, the tour went ahead, which was of course great for us.

Trip to paradise

It was wonderful to explore the west side of this paradise island. Tim is the best guide on my entire trip to Australia. With every word he says you can tell how much he loves this island. During the tour he tells you everything about the island, the history, the nature and the wildlife... simply wonderful. Thank you so much Sasa
