Good quick tour of Toledo. Train ride was fast. Guided tour was good plus we had some free time to explore. Majee was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.

Great tour with Natalia!

Natalia was amazing!! We had a great time seeing Toledo, she showed us everything and was very knowledge about the history and the city. The half day trip was perfect for seeing Toledo and grabbing a quick drink and tapa!

Great family tour!

Natalia was an amazing guide! We were able to see so much plus we had free time to explore on our own! Only recommendation would be maybe adding an extra 30 min of exploring. But great tour! High speed train was fun and took barely any time to get there!

Nice short visit to Toledo

We enjoyed having a small group and the train got us to Toledo quickly. Our tour guide's accent made him a bit hard to understand, especially in crowded areas, but he knew a lot about the city and was very friendly. There wasn't enough time to do a whole lot besides visit the cathedral and eat lunch but it was a nice introduction to Toledo.

Must-See Trip for Madrid Visitors

This medieval city challenges an American’s perspective on history! Easy, comfortable train ride. Natalia was a perfect guide: personable and knowledgeable. You can’t be surprised by the city being swarmed with tourists, but it’s a must-see for visitors to Madrid. The cathedral is amazing, every bit the equal of Notre Dame and St. Peter’s.

Good tour - wear comfortable shoes!!

Germany (sorry, I think that was his name) was very informative. He did a great job of getting our group to the train station and on to Toledo. There was quite a bit of walking and some uphill. We were given a little over an hour of free time which was appreciated.

Nice tour to Toledo

Great tour of Toledo combined with the high speed train was a nice way to see the sights and still be back early enough in the day to do other things. Our guide Diego was very knowledgeable about the area, and made for a pleasant day. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing views and history

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Toledo. Amazing views and history. Our tour guide, Diego, shared his great knowledge in a friendly and professional way. We traveled by high speed train which I think is the only way to go.

Great experience. Our guide was from Toledo and really knew the town. We chose to take a taxi to the world's greatest view. It was worth the $10. Would recommend

This was my first solo tour. There were only five of us on the tour and it was a great way to spend the afternoon.

Fun half day trip to Toledo

Eduardo was knowledgeable and full of interesting stories. We did the half day and still had time for lunch and exploring on our own. He also gave lots of great advice for other areas around Madrid to tour.

A must do excursion!

We went on an early Monday morning to enjoy Toledo with Diego. We couldn't have been happier with the experience, guidance and information we received. There was also free time at the end for shopping, snacking on the local treats, and sightseeing on side streets. It was a great way to spend half of the day.

It was well organized and we hit all the sites in the city. We were in a good group because we were on time. The train was nice experience.

Perfect Way to See Toledo

This was a special tour of a beautiful city made even more wonderful by our guide, Eduardo. Not just knowledgeable, but kind and generous with his time, Eduardo gave us lots of insider information about the cathedral and the city in general. This was a terrific way to see Toledo.

A lovely trip in a lovely day. Amazing city of Toledo, 1 day is definitely too short. Majed helped us to change the train ticket back to Madrid, so we can stay longer in this beautiful place.

Worth it

Very interesting tour of Toledo with great guide German. Sadly super foggy and cold but still an interesting tour with beautiful cathedral and castle.

Efficient and informative

Highly recommended taking the high speed train to Toledo. This tour is well organized and our guide German is very knowledgeable with lots of great insights on the various sites that we visited. We saw all we wanted in just half day. Thanks.

Perfect length tour

This was the perfect length of tour for a family. Train took 30 min then we had a roughly 2.5 hour tour along with an hour break for lunch. Our tour guide Natalia was well spoken and super knowledgeable about the city. She pointed out lots of details and history we would have otherwise missed.

Plus he adds humor to make it fun too. They make it easy for people by coordinating the high speed train ride from Madrid too.

Quick day tour of Toledo

Very nice quick day trip to Toledo. Majed was great! We toured the Jewish quarter and a small part of the town. We also got to go into the beautiful cathedral.

A great 5 hours tour even for solo travelers.

Our tour guild Natalia is the best. Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The tour also is well designed to have some free time on your own to explore Toledo.

Great Quick Tour

Solid way to spend half a day. Because of how quick each stop is (5 - 10 min each) Great for either a solo travel or maybe two people looking for ways to spend the day if the rest of the group is doing something else. It gave enough of a taste of Toledo that it preps you for a longer trip to stay for a few days in the future to take it all in

Too expensive

Our train left 1 hour late. The tour guide was going to ask for a transportation refund but have not heard. The experience was so rushed.

Half day trip to Toledo

Super half day trip to Toledo by high speed train. Really enjoyed the walking tour of the old town and guided tour of the Cathedral with our excellent guide Ari. Highly recommend this trip.

Toledo is a gem

What a beautiful town Toledo is, it's exactly what I imagine when I think of Europe. Our tour guide Diego was very kind, patient (we stopped many times to take lots of pictures), and knowledgeable of the town's culture. Highly recommend.

More than I expected- good and less good

Weird day. Our guide was super pleasant and fun, but ran late to the meeting location where we had to run to the train. Train was then delayed by over an hour, so we just sat on the train, losing time in Toledo. Also, our seats were double booked with others already in our seats with the same seat assignment. We worked through it. I added a companion 2 days before the trip, but did it direct through the tour company and not Viator simply to make sure she would be booked with me without mistakes. And that the tour company began communicating with me directly. So I thought that was a good idea. That was my mistake. The communication with the tour company through WhatsApp was inconsistent, and I never did receive confirmation of my booking. Nevertheless, she was on the list. Toledo was fantastic. The cathedral was the only thing we could see due to time constraints due to the return train trip. Not only did we wish for the extra hour or so lost by the train delay, but the city deserves longer to explore and shop. There was mention of partial to full refund by the guide, which I may get from Viator (I have not pursued yet), but I doubt I even have the will to pursue refund from the tour company directly for that additional ticket.

Great guide

Our guide Javier was excellent. Really knowledgeable and entertaining. Enjoyed fast train, tour of cathedral - there was issue on our home leg with the train but Javier sorted quickly. Overall good experience.

A jam packed half day

Deanna was a very informative guide. She took very good care of all of us on the trip. There was a lot of walking and not much free time but we learned a lot. I would have enjoyed more time to look around in the town.
