Good value. Clear meeting instructions. Comfortable coach both ways with air con. Enjoyed the walking tour. Toledo is very nice and definitely worth a visit.

Toledo Tour

Trip to Toledo was 5 stars

Trip to Toledo was great! Jorge who gave the Spanish tour was excellent. Super knowledgeable and friendly it was all in all a great experience and we would surely recommend to everyone

Room for improvement

The trip was great and excellent value for money but it seems that many, what can best be described as “rookie” mistakes were made. As many tickets had been sold by independent travel agents few travellers knew which company they were travelling with so when it came to pick up time at the end of the day many travellers were confused and concerned as ro which bus to catch and time was wasted ticking names off a passenger manifest ( particularly when a range of accents and languages were involved).The use of a simple wrist band with a tour identifier would have been useful. This was a bilingual tour with two guides, each with their personal loud hailer trying to inform their clients in two different languages ten metres apart - confusing? Certainly was. My next tour will be one that offers personal ear pieces/ radios. It seemed that the system was designed by someone who never has to use it. Otherwise the bus standard was excellent, comfortable and well driven and the guides were both informative and personable.

It was a nice little tour, I did the cathedral tour as well and the tour gave some great recommendations for food.

NICE EXPERIENCE IN TOLEDO

Our guide Angy was nice and so well prepared. She spoke English very fluently and she told us the story about Toledo in a very interesting way, while walking around the city. We liked the tour so much!

Great Experience!

This was a great tour experience! We made many stops along Toledo and learnt all about the place thanks to our tour guide Angie who is very knowledgable and informative on all the different stops we made and about Toledo! I would definitely recommend this tour

Well organized, compact tour to Toledo

We joined the half-day tour to Toledo as a family of six including elderly and children. With the half-day option, we had a 30-minute stop at a sword workshop, 45-min walking tour in Toledo and around 1 hour free time in the end. Full-day option would be preferable to explore Toledo better and have some meal, but half-day option was also very sufficient since we were short on time. The bus was very comfortable with AC both ways, the driver Alex was good. Our tour guide Angy was super informative and friendly. The sword workshop part was not well organized with Spanish and English groups next to each other and their guides speaking simultaneously, also much better products were available everywhere in Toledo at lower prices. But well, you know how it goes with the tour companies and their commission-based stops.

Nice easy, enjoyable day trip from Madrid. Zero effort to follow tour. Also a very easy walk without many hills.

The tour guide (Angie) was amazing in English and Spanish! We had a great time in Toledo and would stay longer next time.

Nice tour

The tour is well organized and on-time. The guide on the panoramic view and the city center is nice and well explained. Is perfect if you are traveling with an older person they are really patience and wait for everyone so they don't miss anything. They staff is friendly and willing to help you if needed.

Worth going

Angie was very good. Definitely worth the trip from Madrid. We did half day tour which was more than enough

Exellent Toledo experience

Our guide, Angie, was very friendly and informative during our walking tour of Toledo. Info that would have been hard to find as an individual.

Great experience and tour

Angie was a great tour guide. I learned and saw a lot in just the 1/2 day experience but if I did again I would book full day.

Unnecessary soliciting

Its a good amount of time, but they waste a good 50 minutes of it at a “factory” which has no historical significance and is used as a tool to make you buy jewelry. The factory stop was supposed to be 15 minutes, but reached 50+. Just keep this in mind while you consider this tour, it eats up a third of your city time

Amazing views and important history.

Beautiful old city and important history. Alfredo was a great guide with a sense of humor. See the El Greco paining in the church. Three religious groups lived together for a period of time in peace until the Christian rulers killed, forced conversions and expelled the Jews and Muslims.

Offer presentation improvement proposal

The website should propose in a better way the full day stay option as it's a pity to visit Toledo for two days!!!!

Toledo tour

Alberto es fantastico. He was very attentive to tourists needs. As I was the only English speaker he took me for a private tour, after he did the Spanish tour for other guests. He was funny and friendly. He is the best!

Toledo is worth the visit

Loved the tour with Jesus. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and Toledo is a very beautiful city. Can definitely recommend!

Tour not as expected

Group consisted of two tours 🙈 Once in Toledo we were split in two groups. Within those groups were people like myself who purchased the Toledo Experience and some going on to Segovia. Our local guide was very sweet. It was difficult to hear her unless you were up real close. We were left 1/2 way into the tour to explore the city on our own. Mind you the streets are like a corn maze, difficult to navigate. We found a restaurant and ate to kill time and afraid to wander too far for fear of getting lost. Finally time to meet the bus back to Madrid. No guide in sight. After 30 minutes we were put on 4 different buses to go home. Tour was not at all as described. Very unorganized.

Not at all what it seems to be

Tour was not at all what we expected. We were handed off to a local guide who offered a lot of interesting history however without listening devices it was a bit difficult to hear. The vast majority of the tour you are left to fend for yourself and good luck making your way through the maze of tiny winding paths. To top it all off our tour group was combined with a tour group going on to see Segovia. When it came time for those of us just seeing Toledo to head home, we had no clue who to watch for or what bus to take. Finally a man showed up and we were split and put on 4 separate buses. Not to mention, the bus was almost 30 minutes late arriving to get us. Very poorly organized.

Lovely day trip from Madrid

Alejandra was a fantastic guide. We loved the trip. A short ride from the center of Madrid, we did the short tour but next time would stay longer.

Poor Value

Very poor tour Take my advise give it a miss. Tour leaves from Neptune Fountain. Do not arrive until 8.55 as tour will not depart until 9. On return they have you wait from 1.30 bus does not leave before 2. You waste nearly an hour in a sword shop when you reach Toledo this is compulsory and a complete waste of time. Take my advise go by train and do your own thing and don't waste your money

Amazing tour to Toledo

The tour was very nice, we have enjoyed the view of Toledo city and the history of it which our tour guide Alexandra explained us very well. We were lucky also to have a sunny weather and this together with all other aspects offered us an amazing experience.

Very nice experience, the city is very beautiful and you have a lot to see. Our guide, Alejandra made the trip even better, she is very friendly and told us a lot about the history of the city. Totally recommend!

Toledo with love

The tour in Toledo is worthy of the time. Alessandra and Enrique are both very nice and looked after the group during the tour. We were given time to take photos and explore the place.

Toledo is a must when in Spain!

Wonderful city that is a must visit when in Spain! Recommend the longer tour for the full experience. The cathedral is incredible and definitely worth buying a ticket!! Our guide Alejandra was very knowledgeable and sweet.

Taste of Toledo

Enthusiastic, very knowledgeable and answered questions like she was born and raised here. Kept the walking tour at a good pace and suggested so many things to do during free time . Half a day is not enough but hey I’ll defs be back :) x

Would not recommend

We did not enjoy this tour at all. It was so disorganized. We were a very big group, 2 big buses going to Toledo. English- and Spanish-speaking guests were mixed in the buses, which was ok. However, when we visited the factory, despite being split into English and Spanish groups, we were all herded and crammed into this 1 small room where the guides for the 2 groups were speaking at the same time. Upon leaving the factory, there was confusion about which bus to take (since some will be staying in Toledo for half a day, others longer, others will be proceeding to Segovia). Only 1 person seemed to know what to do and we had to wait around in the cold for her instructions. Thankfully, we were split into “smaller” groups of 30 after. Our guide was all right but did not have a microphone. We’d only hear him if we were close enough. I think our experience could have been better.
