Great day trip from Madrid

Lorena was an amazing tour guide! This was the perfect day trip from Madrid. Definitely bring good walking shoes and a sun hat. Could not have asked for a better trip!

The tour was great! Very well organized! Absolutely loved Toledo and Segovia! But the best part of it was our tour guide Leon...he was fantastic! Amazing views

Fast pase day trip , but worth it . Could have been better if could have had more time in Toledo to shop around for souvenirs. The views are breathtaking and the Alcazar was amazing too.

Toledo and Segovia Full Day Trip

Our day trip to Toledo and Segovia was fantastic. Our guide Khan gave us lots of history information and made the trip great. Definitely worth a visit. The bus was comfy and the driver, Michelangelo did a good job in lots of traffic

Massive day but so worthwhile

It’s a jam packed day but it ticked our boxes . We got to see both beautiful Toledo and Segovia . Would we have liked to spend longer there ? Absolutely! But sometimes your itinerary just doesn’t work like that We got our tickets through the go city Madrid pass . Booked through the app and amigo keep updating you via the app . Only thing we had to purchase was our entrance to Alcázar So you start near the bullfighting arena in Madrid. Make sure you have breaky or a coffee before you get on the bus First up Toledo . You will go to some lookouts . Then into town for a very quick morning tea. Yes it involved some stairs but mostly elevators After morning tea you go through the maze of Toledo , around 5000 steps ending at st Martin’s bridge Back on the bus to the sword making factory which we kinda thought was a waste of time except you get a toilet stop . It’s just to try and make you buy something Then a two hour bus ride to Segovia Oh my goodness it will take your breath away !!!! You will have lunch here with a plethora of choices but you might not want to sit too long so you can explore before you walk to the cathedral and Alcazar castle . Another 7000 steps Close to 13,000 steps / 9.3 km for the day The coach was a super smooth ride . Our guide Kahn was pretty funny and very informative Both towns are absolutely beautiful and I am so glad we got to see them . Thank you Gocity pass and Amigo tours Tips : Have breaky before you start the tour and take some snacks and water for the bus ride You can add Aquila after Segovia for an additional cost

Toledo and Segovia Day Trip

The tour was well paced with time to rest in the bus between Toledo and Segovia. The bus was comfortable and we were able to keep up with the walking tour. The highlight of the tour was our guide, Khan. He is professiona and extremely knowledgeable about the various sites we visited in both cities. His knowledge, coupled with a great sense of humour made the information interesting and enjoyable. I thoroughly enjoyed the day and would recommend this tour. Try to go with Khan's bus.

A great way to see Toledo and Segovia in one day

Connor, our guide was incredible. He was very knowledgeable and humorous and made the day. Extremely fun and interesting for all with great recommendations for lunch during free time.

Long day but worth it.

This was a great tour to experience all three historical towns. It was well organised and our tour guides were very knowledgeable. It was a long day but worth it.

TOLEDO & SEGOVIA 1 DAY TOUR

I took a tour to Toledo and Segovia on May 8th, 2024 with Amigo Tour and the tour guide named Khan did an excellent job guiding us through the tour. I would recommend this tour to anyone who interested in doing a one day tour to visit these two cities.

Amazing sites!

Khan was a great guide. Funny. Packed a lot in a day. Amazing to see the aquifer so perfectly in tact after 2000 years!

Beautiful day trip around the medieval towns of Toledo and Segovia.

Very nice trip. We started early in the morning and were picked up from the main square (next to the bull fighting arena) in Madrid. The tour took us to Toledo first where we had the opportunity to see the old capital of Spain with its gorgeous streets and medieval cathedrals and fortresses. Later, we went to Segovia where we saw the aqueduct and had a lovely lunch in the local restaurants. Segovia cathedral and Alcazar are beautiful monuments which are worth visiting to see how medieval Spain used to look like.

Very worthwhile day out

Excellent. Our guide was superb. She was entertaining and knowledgeable and made the whole experience even better thsn expected. A fabulous day out.

Great tour

Such neat cities. The aqueduct is Segovia was amazing to see in person and to be able to see the iron work first hand in Toledo was pretty neat as well. Good way to see both cities without driving yourself. Definitely recommend.

Toledo and Segovia

The actual experience of Toledo and Segovia was good. However we found the logistics not as good. The guide did not use a whisperer during the walking tour so info was not as consistent and in depth as we are used to on other walking tours. We did Alcazar on own and other groups had a guide whuch we would have preferred. We would also have preferred using time to cisit inside carhedral especially in Segovia instead if two workshops.

Cristian is the best tour guide

We were so happy to have landed Cristian as our tour guide after seeing the other tour guides and they seemed like not a good experience. Cristian is so knowledgeable about the history and he is really a joy to be with. I definitely recommend this tour, we did a lot of seeing for one day.

Khan is an amazing guide

I've done a bunch of these tours and this was the best one. Khan was not just a very knowledgeable and insightful guide but, just as important, he was hilarious! I learned and laughed a lot, this is highly recommended to everyone especially if you're lucky enough to get Khan as your guide.

need significant improvement

The tour stopped by a steel manufacturing shop. It was a total waste of time. I learned nothing about Toledo with this stop. The tour guide at Toledo was a disaster. He walked fast, giving you no chance to take pictures. In addition, I did not understand a single word he spoke. The tour guide in Segovia was great. She paced the walk just about right and she was knowledgeable at all stops.

The joy of literally stepping back in time.

The scenery was well worth the drive. The guides were knowledgeable and entertaining. They were able to discuss history, architecture and art with ease.

Amazing trip

Everything was great, organization,transportation, sites and the guides were excellent, restaurants recommended were on point.

Bad tour.

Locations were okay. The tour guide is not so much. Not allowed to eat or drink except water on the bus. Felt rush and not enough time in between locations. Not recommend this tour.

The best tour in Madrid

The Best tour in Madrid. Our guide was responsible, attend, patient and professional. In my opinion Javi is a good guide. The price is according with experience. I loved Segovia and Toledo.

Great day tour from Madrid!

We did the Toledo and Segovia tour from Madrid and had an awesome day out with Khan - he helped setup the day really well so we knew how much time we had where in between the stops and walks in each place. He was very knowledgeable and funny and really showed off both towns well. My wife and I are so glad we did it and highly recommend joining Amigo Tours for the day!

Fast pace with lots of walking and hills and worth every step

This tour was fast pace and allowed us to do two cities in one day. We did not add on the optional Avila portion and honestly we were exhausted and glad we did not add it. Make sure to wear good shoes and be prepared to walk up and down some hills. The views are stunning and worth every step. We did not have time to shop as your “free time” is spent eating and then hurrying to your meeting point. We ate at the recommended restaurant in Segovia and we were not disappointed. They had plenty of room for us and if you didn’t want to eat there, they had plenty of other options all over the place.

Long Day Touring Spain

It was a long day but lots of fantastic vistas and commentary by Enrico. We thoroughly enjoyed both Toledo and Segovia. The walk was a bit challenging for these old bones. But, Enrico kept the pace modest so that we did not feel rushed. Glad that we did this tour. Definitely added to our enjoyment during this visit to Madrid.

Must do day trip in Madrid

Enriques has made the tour extremely fun. Gave us alot of good knowledge and tips. Though we covered many places, the itinerary did not feel too rushed.

Enjoyable sightseeing

Mr Khan made the long day very interesting. He is a great story teller of history and his sense of humor brought smiles to many faces and helped us to pay attention. The beauty of nature, architectural buildings and history of the three religions were incredible. The driver also was excellent and smooth.

I would not recommend it

Terrible, I was 3 minutes late at the meeting point, after having lunch. The bus left us at Segovia and was not able to see the Alcazar palace in Segovia or continue our tour to the town of Avila. My wife and me had to pay a Taxi that charges us $145 dollars fare to returned us back to Madrid.

Add the Ávila option. Its impressive.

This was a great day out of Madrid with stops in Toledo, Segovia and we chose to add the Ávila visit. Flor led us on a great visit through all three cities, Segovia allowed some time for lunch. Seek out the suckling pig. It’s their specialty. The Ávila visit was pretty quick but the views of this walled city were memorable and worth the extra time.

This was a great experience. Our guide Khan was as good as they come. Extremely knowledgeable, resource full and great sense of humor. He made all the difference. Highly recommend it.

Our tour guide was Mr Khan. He was very friendly, helpful and had a humorous touch in explaining things. I personally enjoyed Segovia very much.There’s nothing much in Ávila to do.

Toledo and Segovia Tour

Super helpful, knowledgeable and funny guide. Made the trip a fun one. Khan even assisted my sister to get a cab to fetch our parents as they did not join the walking tour but needed to be back in the bus by 1645.

Great Experience!

Great tour with lots of places to visit! Khan was an amazing tour guide who was able to explain a lot about the history and landscape of every place we went to. We had time for morning tea and lunch and also some great recommendations by Khan!

Khan is a really good guide. Lots of jokes, fun and stories. The restaurant in Segovia el Bernardinho is worse the food and price - recommended by him.

Amazing tour

Very informative and interesting tour. Learnt alot. Mr. Khan on the English tour was very professional and hilarious. Would definitely recommend him.

Not flexible tour

Due to we were in a heavy 8 hours jet lag they refused to reschedule or refund. Will not recommend to book from them

3 city tours of Khan

Our tour guide Khan was amazing, anytime we were near a historical structure it was immediately pointed out along with the detailed history. He was direct and clear on what we were doing and when to meet. He gave ample time to do our own thing which is always a plus. The best part was that he was very entertaining.

Awesome Tour!

The tour was an absolute awesome introduction to these great places that provides a great setup for individual follow up visits. Khan oue tour guide was incredible, and provided a very memorable tour.

Worth the trip

If you keep in perspective that this is a large group tour, it is well worth the trip. It is a top line overview of both Toledo and Segovia. There are obviously many things to see and do in both cities that cannot possibly be done In just one day. With this in mind, the tour was excellent. Guides were very knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour to anyone who would like to see these beautiful cities who are on a budget.

Thanks to Victor our driver and our guide Maria Jesus both expert in their job . We experienced heavy rain and hail but Victor is an excellent driver.
