Tourist Trap

We left after 1 song and 1 dance it was so bad. The staff are lovely but the show is not very good unfortunately. The price is ridiculous but Thankfully we did not pay for the dinner portion or I would have been furious. There were 7 people in the audience and it is a small, grotty room. It is literally a tourist trap which we fell into! Don’t make the same mistake!

Great show!

Amazing show!! Venue is intimate and dancers and musicians are great. We loved every minute of the flamenco show. 10/10 rating.

Fantastic Time and Great food!

This lovely place was close to our hotel on Grand Viaand we booked pretty last minute. It is very intimate BUT don't let that fool you. The show was great, the musicians and the dancers were very talented. I was so engulfed I did not even see my food or drinks being placed! I would very much attend again, we had a blast.

Excellent date night

Fantastic dancing, acoustic guitar and solo vocalist! This is a very intimate setting where you are close to the performance. A good place for a date. Not pretentious, but high quality, expressive and blend of traditional and innovative performance.

Talented performers in an intimate setting

Great show, very talented performers! We did not get the included dinner, but I saw a salad on another table that looked great so I ordered that and it was delicious. It's a small room an intimate setting, so everyone has a great view. One note: if you are sensitive to sounds, the shoes are very loud, so you might want to bring earplugs to soften that. We were glad to experience this art form!

Spontaneous Night

Very charming environment! The show highlighted beautiful singing, dancing and music! We had a great time and enjoyed sangria while watching!

Put this one on your list of “What to do in Madrid”

So happy we chose to do this on our recent trip to Madrid. It was listed as one of the top things to do and it didn’t disappoint! A lovely small venue and a really energetic and entertaining introduction to Flamenco! No hesitation in recommending!

Beautiful artistry and local culture

What was NOT to love? The tapas dinner is a great way to start the evening. The Flamenco Show was simply beautiful. The artistry of the dance combined with the guitar and vocals made this the BEST choice we made while in Madrid.

Not worth it

Only two tables in the whole place watching. I knew something was off when I walked in to an empty place 10 minutes before showtime. There were only 4 performers…that’s it. This is a tourist trap, if you want an authentic real show you’re going to have to go elsewhere.

Energy and Passion

Incredible vibe, really good seats and an amazing performance! My wife and I really enjoyed the energy and passion. The dancers displayed.

Absolutely mesmerizing!

We were absolutely mesmerized by this performance. We had front row seating and our breath was taken away! The performers pulled you into their world for a moment. The food and service was a royal treatment. We can not recommend it enough!!! Thank you Thank you!!!

Best performance ever

Absolutely incredible performance. The dancing and passion that was in the dancing was unbelievable. My husband did not want to go but I insisted. He is now saying it was one of the best parts of our trip to Spain. I loved that the venue was smaller as you could truly feel this experience. This show should not be missed.

Such a professional and passionate show. Skilled artists highlight their gifts for the audience...music-dance-song! Intimate space has excellent acoustics. Food amazingly delicious. Service excellent. Highly recommend this experience while in Madrid.

Great Show

The show was excellent it lasted an hour. The dancers and the guitar player were great. My tickets included one drink and they also have a bar.

Great experience in pleasant setting

I am an absolute beginner about flamenco so I can convey just my feelings. That said, myself and my famility enjoyed every moment of it. The place is cosy and allows to savour the show at its fullest, not least because our table was very close to the stage (less than 2 meters). The dining is fine although one should expect an exceedingly large meal. The price is not low in absolute terms, we paid 66€ each for the show and dinner combined, but I guess quality in a setting with limited number of guests - all tables were booked and yet we were approximately just 40 people - demands a fair price.

Simply the best flamenco

We have been visiting Las Tablas for some years, as we have always enjoyed the authentic atmosphere and artists. This was my first visit since Covid, and I was a bit nervous lest some of the magic would have disappeared - the owners had a really tough time during lockdown. In the event, I need not have worried. The welcome was warm, and the show superb: we really appreciated the modern feel to the performance, with a brilliant female dancer, a male who had all the grace and excitement of the smaller men who usually dance, a wonderful guitarist and a brilliant singer who reminded us that the passing years only improve the flamenco voice and emotion. Nice to see the square smartened up a bit too - got a proper look at Don Q. A memorable evening, thank you all.

Fun Flaminco Night Club

Dancing. Sangria. The beautiful atmosphere. Food options. Got the salad tapas extra. Very good. Even the extra crunchy nut bites were good. Thanks for a great night.

Flamenco Madrid 2023

Amazing unique dance and song sequence; upbeat performance and festive atmosphere. Performers are professionals.

Ruined the night

Our first night in Madrid was ruined by this place. We arrived and after the Flamenco dancers finished we kept waiting for our dinner. I asked and the waiter didn’t know we purchased the ticket with dinner. They called the manager and offered to make us the dinner but they already ruined our night. Place was empty, no one there for us to get dinner. How could we trust that the food would be good at that point. Very disappointed. They paid us for the portion of the dinner but then we had to find a place to eat that late after a long flight to Madrid.

Show canceled

Lota of life outside at Pl de Espana. I arrived 2035h and despite empty venue they placed me behind a column. That fixed I got my free beer and waited but they disnt manage to fill up the place. The show was canceled due to empty venue. I got the money back. Too bad.

Not my cup of tea

This is just my personal feeling and I'll admit that I know little about flamenco, so perhaps I simply lacked the ability to appreciate it. But to me personally it seemed stilted, the dancers seemed to simply go through their routine as quickly as they could. It did not appeal to me.

Small place full of atmosphere. Got the vegetarian dinner and sangria. Great dancing, music and service.

Intimate Real Flamenco taverna.

Small venue intimate experience just north east corner of the royal palace. We were up front. Service was good. Too bad more people weren’t there but it was a week night early show one drink with ticket. Extremely professional performers, singer amazing, fantastic guitarist, two superb female dancers, and one outstanding male dancer who closed def the show. If you don’t want touristy this is the place to go.

Great Flamenco experience

It has been one of the best experiences in Madrid, the show was amazing where you can feel the tru essence of the Flamenco, the dancers and the music were fabulous, the food and service was great too is not enough word to be able to describe.

Exceptional performances

It felt like very private, and the meal was very delicious with the win and sangria. The Flamenco performance was exceptional, and I was very moved.

Nice Introduction to Flamingo

The theatre was adjacent to Plaza de Espana. It was small and intimate and the hostess was very welcoming with a great sense of humor. We had classic Spanish food while being entertained by the guitar player, singer and 2 dancers and our table was right next to the stage. All were talented but we were looking for a more seductive, showy performance. The guitar player was amazing but very overweight with his belly showing. The female dancer was a beautiful dancer with a pained look on her face. This was a nice introduction to the art but I think I would go to a grander performance next time.

Small Intimate Theatre Setting for Beautiful Show

The setting is truly a small theatre type of setting versus a bar atmosphere, so the acoustics and lighting and great. We purchased the show with food. The food portions were large - salad, charcuterie platter, dessert, and wine - all very good, including the service. The dancers, singer, and guitar player were amazing and you could feel the performance.

How many times can I say Beautiful?

WHAT A SHOW! It’s truly amazing what these performers did. The beautiful moves and jaw dropping costumes made our last night in Madrid one to remember. We were lucky to be there on a night where the owners family was also there. I say lucky because you really got a sense of the family friendly beautiful space. Loved the dinner and the show. The music was beautiful and I cannot rave enough about the dancing. What a night.

It was ok. Not much of a vegetarian option. Only one hour for the price seemed steep. I not sure if I would go again.

Amazing show

Amazing show. The performers were skillful and passionate . My only complaint was i wish it would have been longer. I was so mesmerized i could have sat there for hours watching them. Would highly recommend.

Amazing and must see!

It was an a amazing experience. Being able to see and hear Spain culture is such a cute intimate setting was just wonderful! The man singing had the most amazing voice and you could feel the passion in his words! The guitarist was wonderful as well. The best were the 2 dancers, they were just magical. This was by far the best I’ve seen!

Everything great but for a detail. Great: the guitar player, the singer, the dancers. Amazing and electrifying! You get into the world of Flamenco immediately. Congratulations on your art! Less than impressive detail: the seats were not great and, worse, we got the impression that it was due to the on-the-spot decision of the lady welcoming the clients. There were seats at the front but we were told that they were assigned “according to the timing of the reservation”. Given that there is no way one can check that, it leaves you wondering whether that is really the case, especially when at least one reply of one of the owners to a similar comment here in Trip Advisor suggests the decision depends on other factors. Still if indeed seats are attributed according to the timing of reservation, do mention it explicitly in your website where someone who is about to do the reservation know the criterium from the onset. Other than that, great!

Amazing and fun evening

We thoroughly enjoyed the Flamenco and our drink! It was a great end to our vacation! Waitress was friendly and the dancing, singing, and guitar playing was amazing.

Fabulous food, dancing & staff - very friendly & welcoming, a perfect way too spend an evening as a couple, single or even a group, booked this for my fiancé as her valentine treat flew her from uk especially for this show/meal & she absolutely loved it!!!

Loved it!!

This place was a very small theater with good views from most tables. The dancing was amazing- 2 women and 1 man. There was also a guitar player and singer. Several costume changes to see the beautiful dresses. You could tell the performers were passionate about their craft. I chose to skip dinner and just have the one drink option. There were 5 people in my group and we all loved it.

The singer ruined the show !

Dancers were solid with lovely guitar player. Singer lady is absolutely horrible and ruined the whole show. You can’t be imitating Gypsy voice so badly and kinda be lead of the show with no good voice , no energy and no genuine approach ! Also technical problem with mic on the beginning is unacceptable and can’t be prolonged for 20 minutes into the show and then singer kept fixing the mic ....Also, the venue itself isn’t really good - you can’t really see the footwork of the dancers... The stage needs to be higher ...

Great show must see!

This was on my bucket list. The night I visited had few people. I want to take time to applaud the performers they were passionate and very entertaining. Did not purchase food option but drink was great. Price was much more cheaper than other shows. Will highly recommend. I honestly can’t single out person as the best they were all absolutely outstanding.

Good food, great service, older dancers

The seating was good, had a great view of the stage. Service was excellent. Food was pretty good and plentiful quantity. Dancers were very professional and seemed pretty good. I guess I tend to think of dancing as an activity for younger people. Several of these performers left "young" behind several decades ago. But they were still good.

Good experience but not long enough

We really enjoyed the experience and the food was good, the dances were great, the singer and guitarist were bloody awesome but it didn’t go long enough for the money we paid and I would have liked a photo opportunity at the end with all of the cast - good idea for future performances?? Just one more thing it was hard to find but the kind gentleman, that worked at the restaurant downstairs, gave us great directions 😉

Flamenco OK not great

I'd say they were about average. The dancers were old but relatively good. There was no dialog of what they were doing or about Flamenco.

Great show but beware the road works

We watched the 7pm show with a drink on a Friday night and it was very enjoyable. The dancing was excellent very dramatic and the flamenco guitar beautiful. The room was very atmospheric and I think everyone had a good view. Even though we were horribly late (make sure you emphasise Las Tablas Flamenco in Madrid, apparently there is another Las Tablas outside the city!) The staff were completely fine about it and they had kept a nice table for us. There are currently huge road works around the venue, but I had spotted number 9 Plaza de Espana earlier in the day walking from the Royal Palace to the Templo de Debod. It's just a plain black door like a stage door, Make sure you leave plenty of time and be prepared for a walk.
