A must day trip from Madrid

What a beautiful experience! We were given horses that fit our experience. The view was beautiful and the guide was very informative. Afterwards we were taken into Guadarrama and places to eat were recommended (specifically La Chimenea). I would highly recommend doing a day trip out of Madrid to experience the mountains on horseback.

Amazing Experience

I had a fantastic experience. Ignacio was an absolutely amazing host, he went out of his way to accommodate us. On the horseback ride, he made sure everything went smoothly and was able to answer every question we had extremely informatively. I would definitely recommend this experience even if you have never ridden before.

Fantastic

This was a fantastic excursion. My husband and I took the three hour private tour. We both have riding experience, but I was apprehensive in the beginning which Ignacio picked right up on. He switched our horses which made for a much more enjoyable ride. He was extremely patient and warm. His knowledge of the area made for an interesting ride, and we got some tips for sights to see on the way back to Madrid. At the end of the ride, I was feeling very comfortable and had a wonderful gallop back to the stables which made me grin from ear to ear. I would highly recommend this tour.

Highlight of my trip to Madrid!!

This was by far my favorite part of visiting Madrid. Ignacio is an incredible host and his horses are very loved and well cared for. We had a fantastic trail ride soaking up beautiful scenery and incredible views.

Amazing experience in nature by a true local horseman

I had a lovely 3 hour tour with Ignacio through the beautiful landscape of Sierra de Guadarrama. A perfect daytrip to escape the city of Madrid and enjoy the beautiful scenery, sun and region by a true local. Ignacio, many thanks for this great experience and trusting me with your young, amazing horse! I will definitely be back for a longer trip up into the hills. Can recommend to everyone with and without experience, as Ignacio caters to your capabilities and wishes perfectly.

Incredible experience and so helpful!

This was such a great experience! Ignacio went above and beyond for us. He was such a gracious host. We arrived in los molinos early and he sent us recommendations for restaurants. During the ride he was very patient and helpful as we were all novices, and also gave us information about the surrounding area. I would recommend this experience to all of my friends as it was so beautiful and fun, and I would love to return in the future.

Adventurous, Warming & Valuable Experience - No riding experience required

Ignacio was an incredible guide who went out of his way to ensure that you have an unforgettable experience and are safe. He is able to pick up on one's riding experience and divide his attention as required between different individuals. He ensures to also guide riders with no knowledge of riding from the start to end. The horses themselves have amazing personalities and gaits for riding. Along with being open to introducing the horses, Ignacio is willing to give insight with suggestions of places one should visit. I feel that this tour in specific was a warm and appreciative experience. It is an experience I will treasure and hopefully look forward to revisiting one day.

FAVORITE EXPERIENCE IN SPAIN!!!

Best experience ever! Definitely something I would do each time I come to Spain and I’d bring along whoever I was with because it was just so much fun! Ignacio is the kindest person you could ever meet he was so helpful with getting us through the trails as zero experience riders and educated us so much about riding which made it even more interesting as we went along. He was even nice enough to recommend great places to visit during our stay at Madrid and guided us all the way to the meeting point he truly is the best! We were nervous being that this was our first time but at the end of it we wanted to do it again. The horses are so beautiful and very cooperative they cater to all level of riders so take the chance to do this if you never have before especially in a different country you will not regret it!! Thank you so much for this great memory and will definitely be back in the near future! :)

Totally worth trying! Ignacio was an awesome teacher and the horses were beautiful and well behaved. We didn't have any experience riding horses but Ignacio made it easy for us to learn. He's super knowledgeable and gave us lots of tips. Would try again!!

Amazing for both novice and experienced riders!

My ride with Ignacio and his wonderful horses was absolutely amazing. Ignacio was very easy to communicate with and I had no problem getting to Villalba from Madrid. The horses were very well behaved and obviously loved, just watch their reaction every time he whistles! I did a solo ride and Ignacio tailored it to my riding skill along with fascinating information about the local landscape, sites, and some recommendations for my visit in Madrid. I would recommend this to everyone and can only hope I'll be back to do it again sometime!

Breath taking 🥰

My wife and i, decided we wanted to try out horse riding. So we went on TripAdvisor and found this link. When we went there we felt in love right away, the area is so perfect, almost taking out of a fairytale. We felt very welcome right away. The service you experience, you right away know this is very professional 👏. When had a super day together with our guide got to the lake and back in few hours, and after that we got offered wine, beer, cola and some tapas. If i could giv this event more stars it would get it from us. We will be seeing this place on my birthday next month 🥰. Thanks for an unforgettable day. Best regards Jensen and Casper.

Amazing experience

I had an amazing time. Beautiful place and beautiful horses. Ignacio is the perfect host, he offered us everything to make us feel comfortable. I would highly recommend, we laughed a lot and had so much fun because the parades were incredibly beautiful. Overall would repeat many more times!!

Above and beyond

This experience is so much more than a horse ride - but oh wow it is that too! I hadn't been on a horse in more than 20 years, and Ignacio made me feel safe and confident throughout, as well as offering observations and conversation on everything horse, Spain and beyond! The horses are incredibly well taken care of and heaven to ride, the scenery is out of this world, and I can't wait to go again - don't hesitate to book!

EXCELLENT SERVICE

In the course of the COVID-19 pandemic (July to be specific) my family and I lived our bucket list when we visited this place for a two hour horseriding tour and our experience was a total BLAST! The tour was a first class and we savoured every minute from beginning to end. We will certainly be back sooner! We received an utmost professionalism from our guide Nacho who proved to be industrious, knowledgeable and has a lot of stamina. He was excellent and a day with him was a marvel. He made us feel at home with his warm personality and the fact that he spoke to us in English. Upon breaking the ice, he enquired for a brief background from each and everyone of us, hence the selection of an equine befitting to everyone's level. An extraordinary intellectual and a long term horse-rider, Nacho introduced the horses, elaborated and gave us tips on how to command them. Laying eyes upon them, it was love at first sight. The horses were amazingly beautiful with clear bright eyes, long entrancing coat and healthy bodies. It was crystal clear that they were well disciplined as they responded well to commands. They were overjoyed and displayed welcoming affection towards us of which we acknowledged they were enjoying good health and under great care of someone with a high comprehensive study of horses. Our magical moment was when we embarked on journey from Sierra de Guadarrama to Segovia, choosing an equine trail that transverse the Guadarrama National Park, lancing through the mountains, offering a view of the Guadarrama mountain, pine trees, perennial flowers and Manzanares river. (There is a possibility to spot wildlife here). The scenery was glorious and the fresh fragrance of the forest that hoovered through the air was a reminder of how divine mother nature is. We found true happiness on the back of the gentle and relaxed horses. It's worth mentioning that Nacho gave us the floor to ask pertinent questions of which he answered with so much confidence and patience. Although we made a few stops along the way to capture memories, we completed our trip well on time as everything was competently organised. I would recommend this trip to anyone as it is a best value for money. It doesn't matter if you have been on a horse before or not. Nacho would tailor the tour according to your level of expertise and go an extra mile to ensure that you are comfortable and safe during the entire trip. Horsetrailridingmadrid is an escapism that reminds you why it is important to ride along the mountains.

Un planazo que repetiremos

Nos ha encantado la experiencia! El paisaje es espectacular y la ruta muy entretenida. Fuimos porque nos apetecía una ruta diferente al resto de las que habíamos hecho (en las cuales vas con más gente desconocida y solo al paso) y nos encantó. El trato fue inmejorable y aprendimos muchas cosas nuevas. Después del paseo disfrutamos de un aperitivo al aire libre en la finca. Es un plan genial para pasar un día en la naturaleza; nosotros repetiremos seguro!

REPETIREMOS

Hemos ido a hacer una ruta de dos horas y ha sido una experiencia increíble, un trato inmejorable. Hemos hecho muchas excursiones ha caballo y sin duda la mejor de todas. Ha merecido la pena y por supuesto repetiremos muy pronto.

Un paseo muy agradable, mágico! por un bosque de montaña precioso. Tienen caballos para todos los niveles de equitación que viven en semilibertad y en manada. Cuidan el bienstar animal. El trato por parte del propietario es genial. Repetiré con una ruta larga. muy recomendable.
