Retiro Park Segway

Loved riding on the Segway through Retiro Park, however would have loved more information at the designated stops. Would have been greatly enhanced further if headsets were provided to enable commentary along the way, otherwise more brief stops to discuss history or points of interest.

Great Segway ride in Madrid.

We had a great Segway ride through the park in Madrid. Our guide was really great as we had 2 people who were new to the Segway. He was very patient is getting them comfortable on the Segway before we took off for our tour. Was nice to learn about the different areas of the park.

Best part of our Madrid trip!

Ronan was an amazing tour guide! We did the tour in retiro park and he took us to the best spots and we had a stop to take pics in the flower garden. The Segway was easy and fun to use and this tour was the best part of our trip, thank you!! Would definitely recommend if you’re coming to Madrid, and especially with Ronan!

The go to way to explore Madrid!!!

Doing this Segway tour was the best part of my trip to Madrid, Ronan was extremely helpful and engaging tour guide. He gave plenty of information about the historical building and allowed us to wait and take pictures. The flower garden was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see Madrid in a fun way. Also people were definitely jealous of us when they saw us in the park.

Highlight of our Madrid Trip - Segway Tour El Retiro Park

This tour was the highlight of our trip. My wife and I were looking for a good tour to do around Madrid, and we decided to do one that scared us a bit but that we felt we would enjoy, and we were certainly right to choose this one. We both have never been on a Segway before. Ronan, the tour guide, who was so nice and personable, had us flying around like professionals in no time. We decided to do the 1 & 1/2 hr tour of El Retiro Park. It was so much fun, and we got to see so much of the park that we never could have seen if we had walked around it. We went on a Sunday, and there were loads happening around the park - yoga, puppet shows, rollerblading classes, and families just enjoying themselves. There were also some great spots, attractions, and monuments to see. Great park to visit and even more fun on a Segway.

Will definitely be back!

Beautiful way to see the park

The tour was great, the park is beautiful! Our guide Joselyn made learning to ride the Segway very easy and kept us safe. Recommended!

Brilliant tour at great value

Amazing way to see the city, very accommodating staff, as my wife preferred to ride a bike. Not that the Segways are difficult by any means. We have 2 children 10 and 12 who mastered the control in minutes. The tour is an excellent way to see some of the city. Diana was a brilliant guide.

Fabulous park and Palace by segway

The boats and lake were a surprise. An outstanding tour. The entire family had a great time. You would never get to see so much any other way, in the time.

Segway Tour in Retiro Park

My family and I (ranging in ages from 52 to 78) did a 1.5 hour segway tour around the park. It was incredibly green and beautiful in May. The Rose Garden, Glass Castle and Oldest Tree in Madrid were our favorites. Jocelyn was a great guide. She is sweet, patient and gives clear instructions. If you want more time in the park book 2 hours it goes by pretty fast. Highly recommend this tour.

Fun, easy and a beautiful venue

We only went through the park for two hours (our choice) and it was great. Ronan was a great guide and cool to be with for two hours!

Fun experience

The Segway tour was very fun. We saw all the Retiro Park Highlights in about an hour, and since we had been in Madrid for several days had already seen some of the other places Aiton wanted to show us. So instead he took us through some neighborhoods we had not seen and down to a lovely ride along the park next to the river.

Great tour with 13-year old

My 13-year old son and I had a terrific time tour with Ronan today. It was my son’s first Segway tour ever and he thoroughly enjoyed it. We had already seen quite a lot of the city, so it was a nice, refreshing break to be in the Retiro Park. It’s a perfect place for Segways. Ronan explained everything super well. It was a great experience all around.

So much fun

Simply amazing.

We just finished our private Segway tour through El Retiro Park and it was really amazing. Ronan was patient with our girls (11 and 12) which were a little nervous at the beginning. The park is beautiful and the segway experience was really fun for all of us. We got to see many parts that probably would not have done otherwise and the whole experience was great. So good that kids only want to do Segway tours from now on .. thank you Ronan and team. Really recommend this company. A+

Such a lovely relaxing place to visit. An oasis in a beautiful city

This park is an amazing oasis in the heart of this beautiful city. It is huge with a boating pond with a marvellous monument at the centre. We visited on a sunny Sunday the day started cold then up to 16 degrees. The place attracts all ages. Full families, people walking dogs on leads of course. Children on bikes scooters, families can hire bikes etc. People playing instruments. Balloon tieing, juggling, artists. Cafes. Ice cream. This huge beautiful park had such a superb atmosphere, great place to People watch. Well worth the visit

Fun Segway tour of Madrid

A fantastic day out with the kids. The Segways were so much fun and it's a great way to see a city whilst doing something new. Our tour guide Marcos was really good too giving us highlights of the sights along the way. Would recommend this activity and this company.

Excellent way to experience the atmosphere of Madrid

Going around with the Segway was easy and enjoyable. We saw in 1.5 hours the main highlights of the city and it gave us a much better view of what to see where. Our guide Suzon was great!

We had a blast touring Retiro Park on Segways. We had never been on one and found it super easy. Our guide Arturo was great at explaining the sights and kindly took many photos of us which he later emailed to us. This is an activity that exceeded expectations- highly recommended!

My family and I had a great mornings tour by segway, seeing all the sights of Retiro Park and surrounding area. Pablo was a fantastic guide with a wealth of knowledge, from the Spanish Royal family history through to the architecture of the buildings. I would highly recommend Segcitytours.

Great 1hour tour!

Very nice hour with Pablo. Easy to learn how to do Segway. Bring comfortable shoes! The company is also very well organized. If you want to tip the tour guide, make sure to bring cash.

Great way to see Retiro Park!

Segways ate the perfect way to see this beautiful park! And Theo did a great job showing us how to operate the segways and provided the history plus took our pictures along the way. I would highly recommend doing this tour!

Fun and informative tour of Madrid.

Our two hour tour, with Arturo, was fun and interesting. A great way to see much of Madrid in two hours. Particularly effective during the August heat when walking is a chore.

Excellent introduction to Madrid

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Pablo. A Segway was the perfect way to explore Madrid during a heat wave especially. Would highly recommend as a way to see the city and get oriented when you first arrive.

Safe and exciting fun activity!

Madrid Segway tours in calle Huertas is fantastic! I have been many times, often alone, several times with friends and I always had very good experiences. The guides are professional and the equipment and organisation are absolutely top! I use it as a fun and relaxing break during my business trips or to enjoy time with friends and sometimes family.

Aall over Central Madrid on a Segway

The tour was very good: we went all over Central Madrid and the guide was very security focused, specially important because I had a 13 year old with me. The only downside was that my wife could not make it and they did not allow me to reschedule or ask for a partial refund

We had a great time with our tour guide Arturo, he was very knowledgeable and friendly. We couldn’t tour the park and ended up touring the city instead, and it turned out to be fantastic - even though I had been looking around the city for the past few days. He knew lots of lovely spots and talked us through the background of them all. Overall very nice time

Awesome Segway tour!

Pablo made our Segway tour fun and educational! Safety was a top priority too! We had safety and use of the Segway training prior to venturing out. We would highly recommend this tour!
