Manzanares River’s Story: A Self-Guided Audio Tour in Madrid

A fantastic look at a little-known part of the city!

I've lived about 20 minutes walk from the Rio park since late 2018 and I learnt a lot on this tour. For people who don't already know the river, this is a great introduction. You'll get to walk through the park that lines the river, while hearing all about it's history. However the facts are kept at a nice level, giving you plenty to fill the tour but without getting bogged down in minute detail. I loved both this and the other audio tour of further up the river - highly recommended!

Fantastic tour of somewhere most people don't know much about

This is great, I'd highly recommend it. While a few of the bridges look fairly old, I had no idea how much history there was on the river. The tour is clear and easy to understand, giving plenty of info, without straying into giving too much detail. I think it's a great balance, where both history buffs and those who just want a bit of entertainment should be satisfied. I'm definitely going to keep an eye out for more tours from this producer, as she's managed to find a topic that I've not seen any other tours cover (in English or Spanish) and make it fun and interesting too!
