Madrid Wax Museum Admission Ticket

Ok if it's a wet day

Ok to spend a rainy hour and a half. Some of the sculptures were very realistic whereas others not so. The museum itself needs updating and this includes the balance of male and female people. For example, in the world of sports, there was one female athlete compared to more than 8 males.

Great experience. We didn’t expect to see so many different characters. They should probably update the museum with more figures.

EXCITING and great variety. Good history lesson!

We took two metros to get to the Wax Museum and it was just inside the Colon Metro stop. We have been to several in other cities and felt that this one was very well laid out. Interesting, a good history lesson and variety of old and new figures. Most were amazingly close to realistic. Loved that we could take pictures and that they had places for one to sit and participate in the picture like one of the figures.

Not so good

I believe that it wasn't so good as I thought. The ticket was expensive at my opinion. At first we entered into a carriage that was for children, then to the train of terror and after we visited the Museum. Had several figures with celebrities, with persons from the history of Spain and a piece with torture. I was not so happy.

Nice but not a WAW experience

1- The accuracy and work done on the historic figures was far way better than the work on the modern history figures and statues. 2- no need for an online booking, as it was not so crowded. 3- children were disappointed when they couldn’t get the customized photos although we tried many times, as cam or the software were working properly. 4- recommended for a family with children to spend an hour or so.

A little different

I expected it to be just a vast room filled with wax models.This is split in 4 desperate rooms .A ghost train , simulator,video history of Spain,wax models of famous Spanish men and women. Well worth the visit

Average

Generally not over impressed. The simulator - a ride along the Great Wall of China - was ok, the ghost train ride was dated and not remotely "ghostly" and the movie was only in Spainish which wasn't alot of good as we are English !. The standard of waxworks varied from very good - Leonardo Di Caprio and Woody Allen - to pretty poor. The Beatles, in particuliar, were unrecognisable ! Overall a very underwhelming and average attraction.

We decided to go in today as we were passing with the kids - they enjoyed it and recognized more people than I thought they would be. We were ready to pay the entrance at the door and were told that it would be 70 euros. I had previously seen a family ticket online but this isn’t offered through the office. The lady was really rude and shrugged her shoulders as if she knew nothing about their online prices- when I booked it was actually half price through the museums own site - 26,50! Instead of 70 so actually quite good value- but for a Spanish audience which is ok because we live here but wouldn’t recommend for tourists without an insiders knowledge of celebrities etc.

Visit Madrid Wax Museum

I thought it was expensive for what there is and the time it takes to travel. My son and I did the tour in less than 1 hour. The figures we liked the most were The Rock, Angelina Jolie and Marilin Monroe.

entertaining afternoon

At the beginning of the visit, the light is dimmer and gives more impression, the figures are quite well made, we went with two children, to whom at first I gave a little respect since there are figures that seem to follow you with their look but in the end they liked it, especially the part about superheroes and actors. The personnel is very friendly.

Very beautiful, worth seeing.

Truly very beautiful and interesting, the statues are very faithful to the originals. The part relating to the Horror Train is also decent.

Recommended and fun!

A fun Museum, everything is super real and they let you take photos without anyone chasing you as if you were a thief. The most exciting part is the second floor.

A super fun afternoon

We went as a family and my children were not bored at all. Upon entering we had the opportunity to enjoy a little history until we reached the most fun part: the west, the superheroes and above all the terror. There are very accomplished figures: Banderas, Allen, Eastwood, Gala, Einstein, Cela. But others are very bad: Michael Jackson, Gary Cooper, Lee Van Cleef... The Horror Train is fun but very short and we are still trying to figure out why it is called that. Best of all: Wax Horror Experience. In general, a thumbs up because we had a super fun afternoon.

The truth is that it is a very cool and well-made museum. I expected less and I loved it, even the ride on the horror train is entertaining. Really enjoyed it. My son enjoyed it very much

Quite funny, the truth is that we expected it to be the same as the one in Bcn, the scary part gives you some scares and the train part is not bad

Very fun and original. A journey through important moments in the history of Spain and Universal. I would suggest the following figures: that of all the presidents of democracy, Columbus, Hitler, Reagan-Gorbachev, Neil Armstrong, Luis Aragonés, or Miguel Indurain. Congratulations

Exceeded my expectations

We loved how realistic the figures looked. I didn't expect The Terror Train and I really enjoyed it. To repeat more than once.

I loved the museum. There were many characters and when I went they included an activity on a little train. I recommend it without a doubt.

We took lots of photos, it was super cool! The horror house was SPECTACULAR, very well done! We wish the horror train was a little scarier... but it's definitely worth a visit!

The tunnel of terror spectacular, the actor a 10. It scared me a lot. Otherwise all perfect, spectacular. Without doubt an unforgettable experience.

THEY CLOSED VERY SOON

The visit went well, the only thing is that they let you get admission at 6:00 p.m. and they close at 7:00 p.m., we had to visit it very quickly since in the passage of terror there was a long line to enter and we ran out of time.

Many characters are not indicated, most of them and others poorly placed What does Antonio Banderas paint in the painters' room? For example And Alaska presenting the top horror gallery? If it is at the exit There are missing characters that I saw on previous visits, essential in Spain

Expectations

We liked it a lot, very real. Although the figures were very close together, the museum gave the impression of being small and collected. But it was worth it, my children loved it

Highly recommended, I liked it a lot. The upper floor of terror, very successful and with more than a thousand hearts. The original but not very terrifying terror train 🤣

We saw the three galleries, everything was fine, although some figures are no longer like the entire Royal family and I was missing the figure of Chicote

I really liked it, the figures are very well recreated. I didn't like having to go to several rooms that weren't connected and having to go out into the street. They would have to look for a larger and more modern location.

Fear

The scary part above is not for children. And the first part of the ancestors a little boring. The rest is pretty good.

The workers were very friendly, the tunnel of terror was very fun but I was missing people made into statues.

Very cool but I'm missing a statue of Fernando Alonso as an athlete. I was also very sad that the statue of Leonor the princess was not there.

Wonderful experience

The visit was incredible, it is highly recommended since it is worth paying to see how wonderful everything is and how beautiful, highly recommended, all inclusive terror section and terror train. We would definitely repeat.

It has improved

I hadn't gone in years and the memory I had improved. Although there are still some figures that are somewhat… distorted with the real character, I did notice an improvement in the similarities.

Pleasantly surprising visit

The visit was better than we expected. The figures are very well made and well set. What we liked the most was the Wax Horror Experience.

Need to renew and innovate

I understand that I am many years old, but it seems that it barely has any maintenance, the terror train leaves a lot to be desired. My personal opinion is that it needs some change, to improve

Without further ado

Average, passable to entertain yourself for an hour, but nothing more. I observed few current characters. The horror train is not worth it at all. Some figures are unrealistic. There are no interactive attractions for the visitor to make it more fun like in other wax museums.

Very entertaining

I hadn't been in many years and it was very entertaining, my 10 year old daughters also enjoyed it. The price is a little expensive but in the end it is worth it.

The train and the gallery of mirrors were very fun. The very successful horror room. A couple of very entertaining hours are spent and enjoyed.

I was very surprised by the new figures and the passage of terror. They are very realistic. The children's figures are very well made.

Highly recommended!!

It's a cool visit, the rooms with very real settings, we liked it a lot. The train is very good and the corridor of horrors.....is scary!!! The only problem is that we released the tickets with the 2x1 anniversary promotion and the workers did not know how to manage it...the promotions must be clearer to avoid misunderstandings

Very expensive for how small it is

It is very beautiful but in my opinion very expensive for how short it is, I paid €56 for my husband and I and my two children and in just an hour or less we had seen everything, I think that with the exhibition being so small the price should be more economical
