Great food tour led by an awesome tour guide!

Andrea was a fantastic tour guide! She was able to provide super interesting facts and background history for all of our dining spots and helped make the group feel inclusive at all times. Best of all, all of the food spots we visited were fantastic meals! Well worth the price.

Fun Experience

Great tour....loved our tour guide, Arantxa. She was very personable and knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the tapas culture as well as about vermouth and Spanish wine. Would definitely recommend...lots of food and beverages for the cost.

Great tapas tour with Montes

Montes gave us an amazing culture and history tour along with visits to some very old family owned bars. She guided us through some local favorite Tapas that I would have been unaware of. We sampled on site made vermouth and local wines. A great group and lots of fun. Would do again.

Amazing tapas tour!

Arantxa was amazing! She is a lot of fun. We learned so much about Madrid history and life. There were many delicious foods and drinks to try. You won’t go hungry on this tour. This experience was definitely worth it!

A Memorable Wine and Tapas Tour in Madrid

This was our sixth wine and tapas tour with Devour over several years and, like all our past experiences, it was instructional, fun and, above all, delicious. Fantastic tour of 3 very different tabernas. Delicious food, and a wide range of drinks, again all delicious. Liliana, our guide was ver knowledgeable about everything we ate and drank; and everywhere we went. The whole atmosphere was inclusive, friendly and fun. We would highly recommend.

Unforgettable tour with Liliana

Liliana, our guide, made this tour a truly unforgettable experience. We were so lucky to have her as she is an expert in Spanish wines. And she was so entertaining and told us many interesting facts, that we wished that we could have stayed longer. I totally recommend this tour!

Would definitely recommend!

This tour was wonderful! Our guide Liliana took us to 3 restaurants where we had vermouth, white wines and red wines. We even did a blind taste test of reds. Our guide was very knowledgeable about Madrid and Spanish wines. The tapas at each place were very good. Better than a lot we had already had in Spain.

Wonderful evening of tapas and wine!

We booked this tour last minute and loved it! Arantxa was a wonderful, knowledgeable, and thoughtful tour guide. My husband is a pescatarian and she made sure there was a special tapa's dish for him at each location that did not contain any meat. When I say we booked it last minute - we booked it the night before and she was still able to accommodate our special request! We learned a lot about local culture, ate delicious food, and drank lovely wines from the different regions. If you are thinking about booking this tour - Do it! We also loved that it was a small group, only 4 couples.

Delicious Food and Wine in Madrid!

My husband and I took this tour on our first day in Madrid and were blown away. We got to try so many great local specialties, and the wine was amazing! Our guide gave us the backstory on each restaurant and even some tips for wine tasting. Madrid is so big and overwhelming, and we would have never found some of these places on our own. Would totally take another food tour with Devour when we're back in Spain!

Wonderful Spanish Evening

Lilliana was fantastic. Her knowledge of different wines and the neighborhood was superb. She led us through a wonderful neighborhood and provided us with different types of delicious tapas and wine. She is very personable and gave our family a wonderful Spanish evening!! Would definitely recommend to get acquainted with Spanish food culture.

Spanish wines 101

This was a great introduction to Spanish wines and tapas culture. Our guide Liliana was a trained wine professional and could answer any questions we had. The tapas selected were a great sampling of Spanish cuisine and all were delicious. It was great chatting with fellow travelers and the group size was ideal.

Tapas the right way!

Tapas and Wine is such a fun tour if you want to learn more about Spanish wine, explore a really cool neighborhood and meet fellow travelers. The tapas spots we went too were so unique and I wouldn't have found them on my own! The food was delicious and it was such a great way to learn more about Spanish culture and how to properly enjoy tapas! Foodies, this is a must!!

Key to the city

Fantastic outing, so glad we booked this! I hadn’t considered how hectic iconic tapas spots would be i.e. we never would’ve experienced them without this tour. Our delightful guide, George, navigated each place beautifully, while weaving in historical context and cultural insights that deepened my appreciation of Madrid. George was also very attentive — I’m not drinking alcohol and he made sure I always had a non-alcoholic drink in-hand!

Madrid tapas tour

As a family that goes on tours often, I have to say that Montses is one of the best tour guides we have ever had. We felt like she was one of our friends walking us through the city and showing us her favorite spots. She was knowledge about Spanish architecture and we loved how she wove in her personal family history throughout. It’s refreshing to have someone who is passionate, efficient, and warm guide you through an unknown city. We also had some of the best tapas of our week-long vacation. Can’t wait until we come back to do it again!

Another great Devour tour!

Thank you George for another great Devour tour. We'd taken a lot of Devour tours and this didn't disappoint. George was a great guide and we had a great time. As often happens, the group had a great repor from the beginning and exchanged a lot of stories. In fact, sometimes George had to rope in all the side conversations we were having. Excellent choices of places to go and he also had other good recommendations. My wife and I are huge fans of Devour and loved this tour.

Fantastic tour, history, food and wine!!! I could not recommend more. Our guide George, was top notch! We ventured into local restaurants that we might not have found otherwise and tasted amazing food learning traditions and customs along the way.

Exceptional small group tour. Our guide, Lilliana, has in depth knowledge of the neighborhood (which is beautiful) and of Spanish wine. I consider myself very knowledgeable of Spanish wine and learned a lot. The group was outstanding. Fun. Interactive. Hungry and thirsty.

David was absolutely wonderful! He was very entertaining and extremely knowledgeable as he taught us about the foods and drinks we were sampling as well as the areas that we visited. The best food and wine tour in Madrid

Liliana was so knowledgeable with her wine and food tour. She really helped us to understand the different types of wine Spain has to offer and how to order them! We purposely took the tour on our first day so we could know how to navigate the food scene in Madrid and the etiquette for ordering and eating out. Absolutely delicious

I would highly recommend doing Devour Tours' Tapas and Wine Tour. It was overall an amazing experience. I especially want to highlight the guides's enthusiasm for food and wines and the city. He provided us with really detailed expert knowledge and we all learned a lot and at the same time were able to get to know each other a bit and have a great time together. The bars and restaurants selected by Devour Tours were top notch, not just the typical touristy places a lot of tour operators bring you to. The tapas and wines were absolutely delicious and gave us a great insight into Spanish culture.

Great experience!

We did this tour with Aranchxta yesterday evening and it was wonderful. Aranchxta is warm, bubbly and knowledgable and a perfect host! We went to three great bars and had wonderful tapas and wine ( you don’t need dinner afterwards!), and had a great wander t around the literary quarter. Would highly recommend!

My best ever food tour

Liliana is by far the best tour guide I have ever been with. She is a wine expert with the certificates to prove it and is passionate about her adopted town of Madrid - don't worry she has been here for 17 years and knows it inside out. She knows her wine and food and is just a mine of information I had the best 3 hours and didn't want to go!

A great experience with traditional Spanish tapas, vermouth, and red and white wines. Something for everyone!

We had an excellent time with Liliana on this tour! Liliana was incredibly knowledgeable about the wines and even gave us fun tidbits about the history of the places we went and important places along the way. The tapas were delicious and the variety was excellent. We even had a fun time learning how to differentiate between two very popular reds. I took the tour with my dad, and I think it'd be perfect with a parent, partner, or a couple friends. I would take another tour and recommend this one without question.
