Loved it so much did it again

My tour guide Rosita was amazing and made my tour fun and not boring like other tour agency's . This is my second time in 2 years booking a tour with devour tour and was amazing.

Just brilliant. We loved the tour from start to finish. The food was excellent and Daniel was a fantastic tour guide. Incredible energy and enthusiasm, so knowledgeable and always made sure everyone was looked after and happy. Really can’t fault it. Highly recommend for an evening in Madrid, ideally at the start of a trip as Daniel’s recommendations and local knowledge would definitely come in handy!

Daniel was a phenomenal guide. He was funny and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a local’s perspective on Madrid’s culture. We literally got off the plane and into the tour. It was a wonderful start to our honeymoon.

The best food and history tour

This was better than I could have imagined. Great food, great history and GREAT host! Dani was amazing, we could tell he knew his stuff and had so much to share. He is super passionate about all things Madrid, but especially the food. I wouldn’t hesitate to take any of his tours. Thank you Dani for sharing your city with us.

Unforgettable food, drinks, and tour guide

The tour was amazing! We made multiple stops at some of the oldest eateries in Madrid. With each stop we got to try delicious local dishes and drink. There was always plenty for everyone in our group and accommodation of dietary restrictions. Not only was the food/drink great but so was our guide, Daniel. He was enthusiastic to share history of his home town, offering many tips/tricks for visitors, and ensured everyone had an unforgettable experience.

Great time and great experience!

Cassie our tour guide was outstanding, great personality! She was very knowledgeable of all food, drinks, restaurants we tried and shared a lot history of all the Madrid landmarks we explored during the tour. The tour was fun and we learned a lot. Everyone in my family had a great time!

Great food tour

Our guide Sean was wonderful. He took us to places I would have been too intimidated with my limited Spanish to try. The food was great as well and ranged from buttery Iberico ham, sizzling garlic shrimp, and hot baked mushrooms. We learned about different drinks for tapas and enjoyed the late night dining culture of Spain. We didn’t end until midnight!

Daniel our guide was a friendly, knowledgeable wonderful guide. He even managed to engage our teenagers. Great food, spirits, locations, culture and history. Definitely recommend this tour.

Arantxa was fun, energetic, and very informative. We ate, drank, and learned a lot about Madrid's history and culture. We are so glad we took this tour with Arantxa.

David and Taylor were excellent guides, especially being long-time expats who have shown their ability to adapt to Madrid. It was so much fun to be introduced to good tapas cafes, local drinks, local foods, and given some history along the way. And some education about how to order, where to stand, etc. A good tour to do at the beginning of a trip.

Immersive Madrid Food and History Experience

Our tour with David last night was fantastic. He was very informative and fun to chat with about Spanish history and Madrid food and drink culture and traditions. It was so great to truly immerse ourselves into these local traditions and live as the local do for a few hours. Everything that we ate and drank at each stop was excellent with the mushrooms and garlic shrimp among our favorites. We definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting a fun and memorable experience during your time in Madrid.

Wonderful Tour!

SOOO fun! Flo was a wonderful tour guide, immediately bringing our small group into a lovely social set with her fun ice-breaker questions and her relaxed, friendly style. Her English was outstanding, the locations she chose interesting and delicious and the food and drink plentiful! It truly was a food tour/history tour and an experience I highly recommend. The loving way Flo was greeted at each spot by the staff at the restaurant speaks volumes about her likability and respect in the industry.

History, Food & Great Fun!

There are alot of tapas tours available but we are so glad that we booked this one. Jose was a Fantastic host/guide who we learned alot from and had a great time. Jose gave alot of history as we walked through downtown Madrids historic area. Additionally the 4 tapas/taverns stops provided excellent food choices from fishes to meets to sweets and plenty of drinks. We were really given alot that filled us up. The group was only 11 people who all got along with alot of laughs a long the way. I told Jose that we couldn't have asked for a better time to spend our last night in Madrid!

Arantxa was the best hostess!! Fully recommend. Great time, funny, great knowledge of the city and great English. We went to 4 tavernas for great tapas, El Abuelo was a the best one.

Great way to spend afternoon!

Was by myself for the afternoon and decided to sign up for the tour. Flo was fantástic- we were a group of 7- one couple and the rest solo travellers. Everyone was friendly, interesting and Flo was a great guide. Was great to explore, learn history then pop into a tavern (bypassing the queues!) to a reserved table and tapas! Learned about regional dishes, customs and tasted great food! All was inclusive of the price. Will def recommend!

Night food tour

Rosita was an amazing and energetic guide. She brought us to excellent tapas stops and gave us just enough Madrid in between. Finale dinner stop was great as well. Lots of walking so wear comfortable shoes. Our 15 and 12 year old foodie kids loved it too! Thank you Rosita!

Yummy Tapas Tour!

We had an excellent time on our Madrid Tapas Tour. Our guide, Jose, was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We had a variety of tapas and drinks at each of the four locations, ending with a sit down dinner. There was more food than we could eat. As we walked through the city, Jose pointed out locations that we might like to try on another night and what to look for in a good local restaurant. We also had fun meeting the others in our group. Highly recommend!

Great small group tour w delicious stops

Great food spots! Nice size group of 9 people. Stopped at a restaurant at the end for a couple dishes and the other stops had one or two dishes to share. Not overly filling, but enough food. Very accommodating for dietary restrictions. Would love recommendations after the tour for places to go while visiting Madrid!

Great guide tasty tapas

The tapa restaurants were very well chosen. The guide, David Brown was really great and very attentive ! The history part of the tour was great as well!

Take this tour as soon as you get to Madrid. And go hungry.

Montse was a wonderful guide for our Madrid tour. She led our group of 6 to four different excellent sites focusing on the food and drink options in Madrid. The mushrooms and peppers at Mason de Champinons was the highlight stop on our entire Spain vacation. If your tour does not go there you should seek it out on your own. The shrimp at Casa de Abuelo near Puerto del Sol was a close second.

Fantastic night

Flo was fantastic so much history to tell us about Madrid's City and food. Places we went were great had a lovely time.

Great tour with Jose!

Jose was a great guide sharing stories about the history of Madrid and taking us to some very interesting and tasty tapas bars via interesting sites in the centre of Madrid. Highly recommended.

Walking tour with great guide, great personality, depth of knowledge, and fun!

Andrea was the best guide we have ever had on one of these kinds of tours (and we try to Do them in every new place we travel). She was warm, engaging, told us a great deal, balanced between history and the food were we eating. She was not boring for one minute. I was truly sad when the evening ended. I wanted it to continue since it was so much fun. If you get the opportunity to go with Andrea, don’t hesitate. AND, the food places we went were steeped in history and the food delicious!

Great way to try tapas and learn about Madrid

Had a great time on our tour with Eleanor. She was an entertaining host, loked after everyone's dietary requirements, and had lots of useful information about how to have a fun time in Madrid. The food and drink was all very tasty, and wide range of tapas to try and plenty of it as well so we felt very well fed by the end of the evening.

Outstanding food tour!

This was one of the best food tours we’ve ever done! Isaac was an amazing guide, sharing the history and culture of Madrid, as well as his passion for the city. The food was outstanding, and it was such a great experience to sample the tapas specialty of each place we visited, standing elbow to elbow at the bar. Ending the evening with a sit-down experience was the perfect finale for a fantastic evening. We highly recommend this tour!

Amazing Food Tour Experience in Madrid!

The Madrid Tapas, Taverns, and History Tour with Daniel was AWESOME! My husband and I took this tour on our honeymoon and it was filled with great information to help us navigate a bustling and overwhelming city, delicious food that I am still craving and a fun and light hearted environment facilitated by Daniel - he is top notch. I would highly recommend this experience!!

Isaac is an outstanding tour guise

Isaac was our guide. He did an outstanding job of teaching us about Spanish history and pointing out important places as we moved from pub to pub. Each location had special tapas that were unique and tasty. He made the tour perfect.

Definitely do this if visiting Madrid

I was visiting on business and managed to add on a couple of days. This was definitely the best thing I did in Madrid. It is not always fun being in a strange city by yourself, but this is a great way to learn something, find the best places to eat and have some company. We were a mixed group, mainly young professionals and even a couple of kids, which is no problem in Madrid (or most places in Spain). The food and drink was really good - all in family run places you might otherwise have missed. Try everything, you might not like it all, but you are sure to be pleasantly surprised by something. The history was very relatable - human stories, not just a load of random facts and dates. Montse, our guide, was friendly, knowledgeable, funny and the perfect host. Although from the USA, you could tell she was rightly proud of her Spanish heritage.

Fantastic food, drink, and learning about Madrid with a great tour guide!

We had a wonderful experience learning about Madrid and tasting the different food and drinks with Isaac, our tour guide. Isaac was very engaging in telling about the history of Madrid and the different food and drinks. It was all very delicious with a very nice pace set for tasting and seeing some sights. We would highly recommend this tour.

Perfect tour for some local spots

Fantastic! We had David who was incredible. He gave us amazing history, tips on navigating the city, and of course great food. My wife doesn't drink alcohol and another member of the tour had dietary restrictions and they did such a good job accommodating them.

Well worth it

This tour is worthwhile, we had a fantastic night, saw places of Madrid and had drinks and food in small run family bars that would’ve been hard to find if we were doing this by ourselves, plus the added bonus of being in a small group and having a lot of laughs

A fantastic tour.

We had an amazing tour with Daniel. He was knowledgeable and friendly. We got to see a whole new side of Madrid that we would never have seen by ourselves. We did the tour on day 1 of our stay and it meant that we received knowledge to help plan the rest of our stay and know where to eat well. A great day and well worth it.

Fun Tapas tour with lots of information about the area.

We went to 4 different restaurants and were exposed to lots of different types of Tapas. At each stop we were offered wine, vermouth or beer. Montse, our guide, did a great job telling us about the history of different areas as we moved between locations. I would absolutely recommend this small group tour.
