One of our best experiences in Madrid by far. If you enjoy learning about Spanish culture through food, this activity is for you. Lola provides high quality, local ingredients that YOU use to prepare iconic Spanish dishes. She shows you techniques and walks you through things you may have never done before. Possibly the best authentic cooking class that isn’t “touristy” in the city. Highly recommend and would 100% do it again.

Incredible Cooking Class

My boyfriend and I had the best time during this class. It was a highlight of our trip! Lóleo was very educational and personable. She did a great job including everyone in the class and answering all of the questions we had! We especially loved the black rice but all of the dishes we made were delicious. Thank you Lóleo!

Incredible Chef-led cooking lesson!

Lola is an incredible chef and a truly engaging teacher! The food was fantastic and the experience cooking the different dishes was one of the highlights of the trip! Highly recommend this cooking class!

Fun local flavor

This was one of the most memorable experiences. It really felt like a personal cooking experience and the chef was great about accommodating our different skill levels. The food was delicious and the evening was a lot of fun. I'd 100% recommend this to people who want to get a feel for the local cuisine.

Brilliant cookery class

Amazing 👏, such a fantastic morning. Lola was great and we learned lots of things and met lovely people while preparing our great dishes with lovely wine. Really can't recommend enough .

A great cooking class for one, couples or groups.

Chef Lola is not only an experienced chef she is a great teacher, engaging and fun. The recipes are simple and easy to follow. I have already made all four for my family and they have enjoyed them.

Excellent experience book it now!

This was an excellent experience. Chef gave us four hours of her time, and there was not a moment that we felt bored! Went through with my family of 4, 2 teenage children. They were thoroughly entertained. The food was excellent and we learned a lot about the food culture in Spain. Essentially we cooked tapas and paella. Wine was served throughout dinner along with water. We recommend this highly, and if we return to Spain, we will make sure to book this again!

I would highly recommend this cooking experience. I learnt so much, had a very enjoyable evening and got to eat the delicious food we'd cooked. It was relaxed, informal and a lot of fun. Can't wait to try the recipes again when I get home.

Fun with cooking

Each time we travel internationally, we try to book a cooking class. This one was one of our favorites. The communication from the chef herself, from even before we booked to the day of the booking was outstanding. She is a true professional who also made the experience fun while we learned.

If you are thinking about signing up just do it! It’s worth every penny.

The 3.5 hours we spent with Lola were the best hours we spent in Spain. We genuinely learned so much and will take the valuable information Lola gave us back with us to the United States. I cannot recommend this cooking class enough! (Also, you will eat ALOT and drink a decent amount of wine. So, prepare accordingly.)

Great cooking class!!

Lola was extremely pleasant and catered to our personal interests. The kitchen was spotless and the food was delicious. She was very well prepared We participated in preparing all the dishes. I would highly recommend Lola.

Best cooking class in Madrid

Hands down, one of the best experiences we had on our recent trip to Spain. Every country we go to, we do a cooking class and we were very excited for this one in Spain as Spanish cuisine is some of the best in the world. The location is great and the kitchen is beautiful. Lola is an amazing Chef and we loved her recipes. She taught us so much about Spanish cooking and the science of food. We loved it. Everything tasted amazing and the wine was free flowing! We got a chance to sit down and get to know each other and it was such a highlight to our trip. If we’re ever back in Madrid we’d take her class again. I recommend to anyone who loves food and appreciates cultural recipes, you don’t even have to love to cook! Cheers!

Simply Amazing

As a Christmas gift I took my mom to to Lola's tapas cooking class. It was a wonderful experience learning to make croquetas, Spanish omlette, fried eggplant, and cod. The class took place in a spacious and beautiful kitchen. Lola is an excelent chef and teacher. She is very down to earth and happily answered the dozens and dozens of questions we asked about Spanish cuisine. This experience was far more than a cooking class. It was an opportunity to connect with and learn from a profesional involved in the Spanish culinary scene. This class is a fantastic experience that exemplifies the best of Spanish culture: authentic friendly people who have a genuine interest in getting to know you and share stories over a glass of wine.

The best cooking class in Madrid!

Amazing experience with a great chef that ensured we all had a great time. We had some of us who are very bad at cooking but she took her time to help them along and the food we ended up making was unbelievable. A very hospitable host, great insight to Spanish food, and some lovely Spanish wine… 10/10 recommend

Excellent and entertaining experience

This was a really fun experience and I learnt a lot about preparing traditional Spanish dishes and some of the ingredients that are used. The class is engaging and inspiring. We are glad we attended and would not hesitate to attend again.

The hospitality was incredible and the food was as amazing. The chef took us step by step through each recipe with very helpful common cooking tips. Kitchen was clean and beautiful, would recommend to anyone for a casual or formal outing.

Will visit again

Amazing and unforgettable experience. During the class we have prepared Russian Salad, Croquettas, Black Paella and Cod with peppers. Very nice and friendly atmosphere

Yummy and educational

This experience shattered many of my misconceptions about Spanish food! We learned about traditional paella recipes & made delicious ham croquettes & more. The wine was flowing & the cerveza was cold! Met some interesting travelers too! Lola is welcoming & makes the experience come alive. Everyone got hands on time with prep.

Something for Everyone

In our small group of about 8 (mostly couples/small family units), there were those who really liked to cook (like me), some who didn’t cook but loved to eat, and some who came along mostly to be with their traveling companions. Lolo did an amazing job of satisfying that wide range of interests for more than four hours! She made everyone feel welcome and invited people to participate as much or as little as they wanted. Most people in the group did a lot of chopping and or mixing, and several got behind the stove when it was offered. A total blast. Lolo had us make ham croquettes and a potato tuna salad the first hour. Wine and beer were flowing with everyone by noon, and by the time we ate the first round of food, the group was acting and talking like we’d know each other for years. Of course then people wanted to talk even more, and I was so impressed by how Lolo found a balance of allowing people to chat/get to know one another and still continue the cooking class. She then moved us into making an incredible squid ink paella and a dish of cod with sautéed fresh vegetables, which we all tremendously enjoyed, along with more beer and wine. Lolo was so gracious with her patience and knowledge. She gave us tips on how to select olive oils, restaurants to try in Madrid, and answered anything we wanted to know about Spain and Madrid. She gave us the recipes at the end, and I know many of will repeat the recipes at home, myself included. What a treat and just a perfect way to spent part of a day in Madrid, whether you like to cook or not!

Don’t hesitate to book, this will be the highlight of your trip to Madrid.

Our evening cooking local dishes was beyond wonderful. I/we had the best evening meeting other foodies, cooking several Spanish dishes and learning from such a talented chef.

Best fun ever to learn to cook some special Spanish dishes!

What a fabulously fun way to learn cooking some Spanish dishes! Angel was super entertaining, but also hugely informative, knowledgeable and super enthusiastic about his country and it’s good. I can’t wait to go home and try his recipes out. I highly recommend this experience!

Superb food and chef! Would love to do it again!

We joined this experience as a family of 3 and we had a blast! Lola was an amazing host and her culinary experience is incredible. We all had a great time and also the rest of the group. We drank wine, learned to cook croquettes, ensaladilla rusa, bacalao y paella con calamares. Music was great and everything was super clean! We would love to repeat this experience many times!

Fantastic cooking, eating, drinking, learning and social experience!

Lóleo was a wonderful chef, teacher, entertainer and host. My husband and I had an excellent time preparing and eating the food whilst chatting with Lóleo and the other guests. The lovely wine was free-flowing and the food was plentiful. Lóleo kindly adapted one dish as I am pescatarian which was much appreciated. Thank you for a memorable evening!

Fun cooking experience with Lola!

Lola was fantastic & the space where we prepped & cooked the meal was clean and spacious. Ideal size - not too large nor too small of a cooking class. Great job, and I learned how to de-head a squid!

Top chef 👩🏼‍🍳 Cooking Class!

I always take a cooking class when I travel and this was the absolute best one I’ve ever taken. Lola was knowledgeable not only about the cooking techniques but the history of the food we were preparing. Her space is welcoming and spotless!!!

Excellent experience- would do it again!!

Loved all of the knowledge about the ingredients and the style of cooking. Wonderful wine as well- and really easy to execute the dishes. Highly recommend for any family with kids that are 9+. One of the best value events my family has ever done on a trip.

Cooking up Tapas with Lola

We had a great time making some delicious tapas. My husband and I were in a small class of 4. Lola is a great chef and her kitchen space was beautiful. The food was great and she made everything so simple.

MUST DO Cooking Class

The whole experience was great! My daughter and I had a girls day. Loleo was great! The class was 3 people, the other woman spoke only Spanish so Loleo talked in both Spanish and English which worked did not cause any issues. We each had different jobs to do and cooked different things. The meal we cooked was delicious and I can't wait to cook some of the food when back home. I would recommend this to everyone.

A must do while in Madrid!

We had such a wonderful experience with Loleo at our Tapas cooking class. The facility is absolutely amazing, so bright, clean, professional! We were with another couple for the U.S. and it was such a nice experience learning, cooking, and eating wonderful Tapas that included seafood "paella", coquettes, and Russian salad. As an added bonus, we were given all the recipes to take with us. It made our last night in Madrid extra special!!!

Fun time!!

Definitely an experience that we will keep in our memories! I went with my 15y old son and even he said, that he didn't expect it to be this much entertaining. Lola is fantastic and we were also lucky with the rest of the group. We met lovely people there and exchange contacts for future traveling. Food was wonderful - will be cooking it at home! Thank you Lola! PS: Just a tiny note - maybe a little more visible sign outside would be a cherry on top :)

Best Cooking Class in Madrid!

This was one of our best experiences in Madrid. Lola was very knowledgeable, and we learned a lot. The dishes prepared were absolutely delicious. We actually were able to prepare and cook the dishes ourselves, which not all cooking classes do. We highly recommend this experience for anyone traveling to Madrid!

Must make time for this experience!

I booked this cooking class for my husband and my son while they were in Madrid. They said it was one of their FAVORITE memories of the trip! The food they made was delicious and the instructors were warm, friendly and entertaining. They would highly recommend making time for this special experience. Note: Pay close attention to how to find the door as it was a challenge (and adventure).
