Noemí was an excellent tour guide. We enjoyed all four restaurants we visited. They all had delicious food and wine, and each had a unique atmosphere. I 100% recommend this tour, and suggest doing it early in your Madrid visit, to get ideas for your entire stay!!

Madrid tapas crawl

The tapas bars are average, drinks were average, not a lot of historic reference maybe because the city was not as historic as Sevilla or granada. the crowd we hang with not too classy and very rowdy kind of ruin it for us

Wine and Tapas with Manfred

Our guide, Manfred, made it soo fun, educational and easy! We 100% would do it again. Our first time in Madrid and we highly recommend this tour if you like wine and want to experience the local culture and food.

Vibrant

Meeting point was easy to find. The first stop was in a cellar beneath a restaurant for more of a formal feel. The tour then progressed through the busy streets to bustling bars sampling local wines and tapas with a more traditional feel . The atmosphere amping up as we went along. A fun night out !

Fantastic food

Loved all the stops on the tapas tour, the sizzling garlic prawns were a highlight. Great food and wine. Xavier was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide.

Learning the history of the tapas restaurants all of which have been in business for decades. The wines chosen and the food were great. Our guide Carlos was excellent.

Great time! Toured with a group of friends and made new ones along the way. Knowledgeable and engaging hostess. Would definitely recommend.

Madrid Tapas - just ok

As typical with these types of tours, a lot depends on your group, and we did have a group who was fun and talkative. We visited 4 establishments, but they felt very "traditional" and therefore a bit touristy in terms of places to go. The food was just okay in my opinion, and some of the food choices (eg shark bites) did not have wide appeal, and some portions were too small to share (eg we had one small dish of rice and another of chick peas with meat to share amongst 12- would have been better to select fewer choices and provide a larger sampling option to the group. No water was offered, only the wine (or in one case, a cider) to "pair" and even the wine wasn't particularly good. Our guide was a bit quiet so can't say I learned a ton about madrid culture or the food either. Not sure the value for the money was really there- so many other good restaurants to try and it's not hard to wander around the areas where we did the tour so we didn't see too many new areas of Madrid either.

Tapas tour

The tour was great. It gave my husband and I a chance to really experience the tapas food and Madrid culture. We had tried to find restaurants on our own with no luck. This was great. The food, wine, tour guide and group were wonderful. We ate and spent time with a group of people from many different places. We were able to see areas we would not have known to go to. It really made the trip memorable.

Fun Food & Wine Adventure in Madrid!

We had a very fun food & wine adventure in Madrid with this experience. Our guide was kind and knowledgeable about the city, wines & the food. She seemed genuinely vested as to whether we enjoyed our experience. We were fortunate to have a great group of virtual strangers who were all up for trying anything. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and leaned a lot along the way! We highly recommend.

Lots of fun.

Great food, great wine, great company. Good way to spend an afternoon. Plenty of unique Spanish dishes. The tour guide was knowledgable about the food and restaurants. I think she did a great job leading the group. I liked being able to try so many new things at one time.

Great introduction to Madrid

Ava was great. Great introduction to Madrid and Spanish culture and cuisine. Sometimes a little hard to hear as bars are loud but small group allowed for questions with guide.

Overall, the tapas and wine tasting tour was amazing. It was very informative, and I thoroughly enjoyed all the local tasting spots we visited. The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and super gracious with her suggestions. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in experiencing the local flavors and learning more about the culture.

A great experience!

Such a fun experience! Carlos, our guide, was knowledgeable and introduced us to a variety of delicious tapas dishes, the best garlic shrimp we have ever had:) And so wonderful to meet people from all-over rhe world sharing this walk! Thank you!

Dinner out

We were a group of 11, 4 stops and surprisingly, yes, 3 hours. Manfredo was a wonderful host and our group was congenial. It was the night that Real Madrid won the League Championship and the streets were hopping!

Bad experience !!!

We all had very disappointed experience at tapas they we booked through Viator company. The guide of our tour was not informative at all .He had poor communication skills and unprofessional towards the group . We have not received information and insights that would help us make the most of the experience of this tour . First of all there was a group of 12 people and there was not enough food for the group. Few times we received 8 pieces of an appetizer that was served on two plates and it was not enough for some people so we had to split the portion in order for others to try . Also to mention it was not hygienic . There were 2 people in our group who were vegetarian and we had to ask for replacement and they were given tomato slices with balsamic sauce. The last restaurant we visited was on the second floor , stairwell was poorly lit and unsafe for some of the people in the group as they were seniors with mobility issues . That was never addressed to the group . At the last restaurant again we did have not enough food so we asked for another plate in order for everyone to be able to try and the tour guide said “ we are in the budget here “ He also said “ you will get dessert “ We also offered to pay extra to get little more calamari !!! We were all very shocked by his unprofessional and rude answer . Dishes at the restaurant were chipped and not replaced when asked for it . We saw another group at the next table and their whole experience was different . They were served food in a single plate and one for everyone not all together . Tour guide was informative and looked like they enjoyed the experience. We definitely cannot say that which is very unfortunate. A very disappointed evening.

An Ideal First Evening in Spain

The perfect way to introduce us to classic Spanish tapas upon our arrival to Spain! Meeting point directions were spot on, Ana was a friendly guide, and the group was small enough to meet and talk with all. I especially appreciated Ana’s follow-up email with a summary of bar names along with the wine and tapas served at each.

Incredibly attentive and thorough experience!!

I loved the sites we visited as they were all family owned and long lasting! In addition, Noeme was extremely attentive to everyone’s dietary preferences and very helpful!!

Terrible

The directions and address of the meeting point and where they were actually supposed to meet was not accurate nor valid we spent over 60 euros to go to a wrong address then had to come back to our Airbnb and then we lost what we paid for the tour and all we got was the company arguing how it was our fault not even I'm sorry can we make it up some how nothing just arguing how they were right and we were wrong...and it's not about the money it's about the principal of customer service and satisfaction...i will never recommend this company not use them when we come back but i will definitely let the world know about them so good luck to those who book with them.

An Excellent Choice!

My adult son and I booked this trip and had Anna as our guide. I was apprehensive about it at first, but the description is accurate and we had a fantastic time. Anna was welcoming, and after the first bar the ice was broken amongst the 12 of us mostly strangers. We met interesting people and enjoyed fascinating conversations with them. The bars and food choices Anna selected, along with her wine recommendations, were varied and delicious. I highly recommend this tour and would do it again.

Great Introduction to Madrid!

My daughter & I booked this tour for our first night in Madrid. Great introduction to some fun & tasty spots. Our guide and our group were awesome. After a fun tour, a few of us went on to enjoy drinks together at a local square. Highly recommend, helps orient you to the layout of Madrid as well as introducing you to some tapas and wines. Just book it, you'll have fun!

Everything we tried was great! Plenty of food and wine! We almost didn't want to eat dinner that evening because we were so full from lunch! The tour has a lot of interesting facts and information. Highly recommend!

We had a great time on our girls trip on this tour! It’s a lot of food & it’s delicious. It’s just enough time in each place and it’s a smaller group so it feels more intimate.

Great Tapas Evening!!

Excellent tour. Letitia was knowledgeable and passionate about Madrid, its food and culture. She explained the food and wines we were tasting clearly. There were 12 in our group and we visited 4 tapas bars. The food was fantastic (we had several vegetarians & a GF in our group). There was plenty of food to sample and the wine was excellent. At one bar we could try vermouth, at another we tried Madrid cider and at the final bar we had cava. We would highly recommend this tour!!
