Madrid Sunset Walking Tour with Optional Flamenco Show and Dinner

No show tour guide

We booked late but received a confirmation. When we arrived, the tour guide told us she had everyone accounted for on her tour and we weren’t on it. There were no other guides in the area.

This was an excellent tour in ALL ways! Alberto our tour guide was very knowledgeable. We saw a lot of the major sites with great historical anecdotes and info. There is a lot of walking, so if you have any issues with long walks or stairs this may not be the tour for you. The flamenco show at Torres Bermejas was excellent! Amazing!!! The food was great!!! The Sangria was delicious! The staff was accommodating. It was an overall excellent experience.

It was an amazing tour. Stephanie was very knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. It was the best tour I've ever had! And the flamenco show was amazing!

Susanna is tremendous! She is so knowledgeable and speaks so well about the experience of Madrid natives, as well as the history and geography of the region.

This was a wonderful introduction tour of Madrid. We saw & learned so much about this incredible city from Antonio. He did a great job & accommodated for those who needed. I highly recommend this as a starting place for Madrid

Ask for khan!!!

Khan was amazing!!! He was so knowledgeable about the cathedrals and the palace. I was running late and he waited for me rather than leaving. He showed me the beat spot for chocolate and churruios. He also does the Toledo tours I will definitely be using amigos again. AMAZING!!!!

Walking tour and show - worth every euro!!

Jose was an amazing guide! He was knowledgeable and was engaging and energenic through the entire tour! He helped us discover new parts of a city I thought I already knew well! Thanks so much!! Our 7 and 11 year olds loved it too!

Madrid walking tour was fabulous!

Paula was our guide for the tour and she was phenomenal! A lifelong Madrileña, she shared so much history and love for her city. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn about Madrid, and especially if you are only visiting Madrid for a short time.

Walking tour

Found last minute and had a great time. Only did the tour, saw a good portion of Downtown. Saw some of the must see sites of Madrid as well. Groups were small (I think 8 total were in our group). Only downside is the guide was a little hard to understand at times

Madrid Flamenco and walking tour

The tour was fun and informative. Our guide was excellent. Took time to explain the history and background. The Flaenco dance was well done and entertaining. The dinner was one of the best we had in Madrid. I would highly recommend this tour

Night walking tour

This week we did the night walking tour in Madrid which was led by Jose. It was a very unique experience, not only because the city at night is breathtaking but also because our guide Jose was absolutely passionate, fun and extremely knowledgeable about the city. Thank you Jose! :)

Madrid Night Tour

We ended up taking 4 tours during this trip (including the hop on/hop off bus), but this was hands-down the very best tour of all. Paula was our guide and was absolutely fantastic! She was very knowledgeable about the city, and had a lot of interesting stories and side notes that no other tour guide had told us about. She was funny and made it a wonderful tour. Her English is excellent unlike other tour guides we had. We highly recommend this tour that provides highlights of the city at a time (7-10pm) when the city is very much alive. Don't miss this tour, and if you get Paula as a guide, you'll be in for a treat.

I never made it to the tour despite...

<p>I never made it to the tour despite leaving an hour early to head to the meeting point because there was construction I didn't know about and the line that I was going to take was closed so I had to go around. But I still recommend walking tours of Madrid because it's a beautiful city to walk in</p>

WORST TOUR COMPANY IN MADRID

Amigo Tours is hands down the worst tour company we encountered in Madrid. Their tours are not accurate as described in the postings, their guides could put you to sleep standing up, and they are non-responsive at any of the contact numbers provided. Save yourself the money and frustration. There were tons of wonderful companies and guides and the city Madrid is beyond gorgeous and magical. No time to have a minute ruined by this unethical company.

Amigo Tours is terrible! We had two tours thru this company and both were the absolute worst of the bunch we did on our trip to Madrid, Seville, and Barcelona and were able to schedule virtually every major site. We travel a lot. Sadly, I have been to these places and wanted my 12 and 16 year old and husband to have an opportunity to experience gorgeous Madrid at night. Amigo is non-responsive to phone calls at the number they provided, their guides were the worst of all we had exposure to this trip, and they could care less. STAY AWAY from these folks.

Literally walked up to the meeting point and was in utter shock as I had tried to call 4 times with nobody answering the contact # despite it being within the hours on their outgoing message.....met a sweaty guide in shorts. I had tried to confirm the extent and form of tour as no where did it say anything about walking in our heels as we were appropriately dressed for what we were sold.... a premium dinner and show. TOTAL DISASTER. Both tours thru AMIGO TOURS were epic failures compared to all of the others we did which were 5 star and fabulous for us and our girls.

<p>This was a very enjoyable tour which I would strongly recommend. Some of the sites we had walked by ourselves during the day. They really can be different at night, especially with a knowledgeable guide. It was also different watching the city come to life at night. Great.</p>

<p>Our guide, Pablo, was very knowledgable about both the history and the culture of Madrid. He pointed out several, made for tourist areas and pointed out authentic alternatives that are only steps away. The tour was a lot of walking, but it is in fits and starts and not a continuous slog. It's meandering route and relaxed pace are itself a wonderful introduction to Spanish culture where nothing seems to follow a straight line and patience is more than a virtue. After stting on a plane for 6 hours, it was a great way for me to start working on my jet lag as the walking part of the tour takes you to 2200 10PM . This is still very early for Madrid, so I went back to an area pointed out by Pablo for tapas before getting myself back to my hotel and collapsing for the night.</p>

Definitely something you want to do as early as possible in your trip as it will help you get oriented and allows you to plan the rest of your trip accordingly.<br/> Be aware though that it is a LOT of walking. My companion was pretty cream-crackered by the end of the tour.</p>

Great little walking tour of Madrid...

<p>Great little walking tour of Madrid, a must for first timers to the City. Wish I had booked this tour on the first night of my trip instead of the last. I found out about so many places and attractions that I had missed or had just walked past without realising. Our guide Khan, was very knowledgable about all things Madrid, and the tour never felt rushed. 3 hours may seem like a long time for a walking tour but it flew by, and with a short break for refreshments at the covered market about half way through, was perfectly timed. Would recommend. <br/> Not sure about the Flamenco Show mind as I did not book this as part of my tour, so can't comment on that.</p>

<p>We where the only people on the tour so was more of a private tour for us. Our guide was very interesting and showed us things that we wouldn't have seen on our own.</p>
