Wonderful Tour !

I booked this tour after reading many good reviews & wasn’t dissapointed- From start to finish very well organised - our Guide Flo absolutely lovely - welcoming friendly informative - made all aspects of the evening very interesting & enjoyable We had the bonus of being the only 2 booked in that night so really had a private tour! The food & drinks provided were all delicious with local specialties in a few different locations - Visit to the Flamenco Shop having learned the history of its origins amazing - saw the Guitar shop where they are custom made - The Flamenco Show was stunning - a must see Also with tapas & a drink Last stop a nightcap local drink Very enjoyable evening - worth every penny - can highly recommend it & our wonderful guide Flo!

Won't do again

A little history knowledge was welcome But Flure repeatedly said the same thing non stop . Not impressed with the show. I was expecting vibrant colours and you ladies. Not all in black and boring .

A fun flamenco evening with strangers who became friends

Arantxa brought our group of strangers together for a fun, fact-filled tour! The stops for wine and tapas and the dress shop before the show were interesting (and tasty) and the show was excellent!

Get ready to be moved!

This was a wonderful way to spend an evening in Madrid. Our guide, Arantxa, was so personable and interested in each tour member that we all followed her lead and broke the ice with each other. And that’s what made this so much fun! We really liked the stops we made for vermut, jamón and at a shop that specializes in flamenco apparel. It helped us understand better what we were going to see. A tablao performance is different from a theatre or traveling troop performance in that it is improv. Very spontaneously and emotional as the dancers are trying to impress each other as much as they are trying to impress us. It was quite moving! And then we ended the night with an aperitif and stood in the street and talked. It was a really marvelous experience. Devour Tours and Arantxa scored a hat-trick/grand slam home run with this one!!

Impressive flamenco experience!

It was THE perfect night. Isabel, our guide, a musician herself, was great. She taught us about flamenco before the show as we had some gastronomical treats, so we understood what was going on on the “tablao”. The food was delicious, specially the iberian ham!

Devour Tapas y Flamenco Madrid Very Worth It

Flo was a truly great tour guide. She gauged the group's interests and included history and culture of flamenco - a Flamenco guitar maker and a shop where dancers buy shoes, dresses and shawls. The food and wine were top notch. The tabao flamenco was intense and engaging, definitely not a showcase of tourist favorites. Highly recommend. Thanks.

A fantastic way to spend an evening in Madrid

This was a great tour. Rosita, our guide was wonderful.She clearly loves Madrid and had lots of local info and an understanding of the local culture and food. The flamenco was outstanding. The dancers and musicians were clearly passionate about their art and it showed in the fantastic show. They local restaurant/ bar stops were all interesting and the food and drinks were delicious and generous in their portions.

A terrific tour and Flamenco show!

Rosita was delightful, very knowledgeable and led a great tour. The tapas establishments were very authentic and the food was delicious. The flamenco show exceeded all of our expectations. The show was outstanding. A can’t miss in Madrid.

Best tour ever

Eleanor was an amazing tour guide. She was so knowledgeable of the Spanish culture. All of her food and drink options were excellent. The flamenco performance was an incredible and unforgettable experience. Eleanor’s suggestion made the rest of our trip to Madrid even more special. I would not hesitate to do this tour again if I was in Madrid.

Flamenco dancers beyond my expectations

Montse took us on a devour walking tour, enjoyed tapas and cocktails on the way to flamenco. The flamenco dancers, singers and guitarist had so much passion in their performance. Throughly enjoyed and recommend highly

Very cool experience

We love food tours and do them often when we travel, as it’s a great way to see and learn about a new place while getting a little off the beaten path. This one was no exception, and Isabel was an excellent guide. The added element of the Flamenco show is what really elevated this tour for us though - we learned so much about the origin and nuance of the art even before the show, which itself was a very cool experience.

Out tapas and flamenco tour with Arantxa tonight was brilliant. The food and drink was excellent and the Flamenco performance wonderful - all the better for having the background explained to us over a delicious plate of food. Arantxa is funny, friendly and knowledgeable and above all enthusiastic about her city and what it has to offer.

Amazing Experience in Madrid

My husband and I really enjoyed the Flamenco show. The drinks and tapas were delicious. I'm definitely a fan of Miro vermouth now! Our guide, Aranxa Lamas, made learning about Spanish culture fun and entertaining.

Best First Flamenco Experience Ever!

We LOVED our evening with Isabel. She was a passionate, kind, and caring host who was so sweet to our kids, ages 9 and 12, who were along for the tour. She was knowledgeable and kept us all on task throughout the four stops, but it didn't feel rushed. We loved the flamenco show experience - small and intimate and we had the best seats in the house! The food was enough for a meal, and was varied, too. The fact that you also got a drink at each stop was a nice bonus, too. We felt like we really learned and experienced a lot throughout the evening, and would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a unique experience in Madrid.

A must-do!

Arantxa was the absolute best! Without her, it wouldn't have been as fantastic. What a superb tour. A must-do if you're new to Madrid.

Amazing Tour and Flamenco Show

The tour with our guide, Arantxa, was amazing. Her energy, knowledge, and personality made the stops along the way much more fun. The food was excellent, drinks were great, history of flamenco and the attire were educational and a great set up to the flamenco 💃 show, which was absolutely incredible and in a small venue. Ole and Bravo, Devour and Arantxa.

Tapas and Flamenco

This was amazing. Our guide Rosita was really knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Going to different places for tapa was so good and Rositas insight to Flamenco made a real difference to my perception of the performance. The Flamenco itself was just amazing. The performers were so passionate about what they do - a truly mesmerising show. Would definitely recommend this to any solo travellers looking for a group activity!

Amazing first Flamenco experience.

Our tour guide was Arantxa and she did an amazing job making us comfortable while trying out famous tapas and drinks on our way to the Flamenco show. You can tell that she is passionate about food and especially Flamenco. She explained to us what to expect from the Flamenco show on the night of the tour, and that knowledge helped immerse us more into the Flamenco show.

Arantxa, our guide, generously shared her enthusiasm & extensive experience & insight as a Madrid resident. She brought us together as a group for a very lovely evening exploring the art of both tapas & flamenco.

Amazing time!

Arantxa was awesome! A funny and knowledgeable Madrid native who truly made me feel welcome in her city. Highly recommended! And, as a music teacher, the flamenco performance ranks as one of my favorite musical experiences I have ever had.

Flamenco was better than expected!

The flamenco dancing was the best part. I liked going into a dance supply store and feeling one of the dresses. They are surprisingly heavy. I enjoyed learning a little flamenco history as well. The tapas part of the tour was ok.

Great tour!

Tapas was (were?) excellent, and guide was very knowledgable. We had an older, less mobile member of our group and our guide did a wonderful job of accommodating. Flamenco show was very enjoyable as well.

Fun for all

My wife and I throughly enjoyed our tour. It was more than we expected and our guide showed her real personality and did not just say things from a script.

10/10 recommend anyone who’s visiting Madrid for the first time!

Had a wonderful time learning about the history of flamenco along with with some tapas bars. Perfect combination to end your day! As well as our guide Arantxa Lamas who was the perfect person to lead this tour. My boyfriend and I had the pleasure to have her as a guide twice !

Delicious and fun

Flo, our guide, was funny, smart and knowledgeable. Flamenco show was fantastic. Learned about some new foods and drink. Definitely highly recommend.

Amazing tour- wonderful guide

The tour was amazing but the highlight was our guid, Arantxa. She was the best tour guide - funny, feisty, and charming and brought so much insight into Spanish culture. I will look for her and Devour on my next visit to Madrid!

Great taste of Madrid

We highly recommend this tour. Isabel was our tour guide and she made us feel comfortable from the first moment. We learned about Flamenco, tapas, Spanish culture, jamon, churros, and a million other things. The Flamenco show was high energy and kept us all entertained. We were worried that our kids might not get as much out of it, but they loved it and got great non-alcoholic options which we hadn't tried before. Thank you Isabel!

My tour guide was great. Knowledgeable warm and engaging. The food was great except the flamingo place where both food and drinks were terrible

Saturday night in Madrid

Our guide Mons, was great. The tour went at a good pace and was most enjoyable. The tapas and drinks were enjoyed by all. We had good seats for the flamenco which was quite entertaining. We have now done several Devour tours and recommend them.

Excellent tour with a great guide.

Excellent Tour with a very informative guide. Isobel was great, good English and obviously knew about Flamenco. We started with tapas and Vermuth…it has to be tried and was surprisingly good. Tapas also good. A visit to some shops and more food, this time different Jamon with olive oils. Finally the flamenco which was great and drinks (not sure about the Tinto de Verano) Whole thing was super enjoyable. Quite a bit of walking to you need to be ok with that in the heat. Unforgettable experience

We were only in Madrid for one night, so we really wanted to experience the city and culture. The tour with our guide Isabel was amazing! The tapas, wine, local culture and flamenco dancing was one of the highlights of our month-long European vacation. Even the kids (ages 9 and 12) were entertained :)

Wonderful introduction to Madrid on our first evening in town

Rosita was so knowledgeable, interesting and FUN during our tour. She shared interesting information about the history of flamenco dancing, and we even took us on a brief tour of a flamingo dress and shoe shop. We had several delicious tapas and wine stops before the fantastic dance performance, and after the show we had a lovely treat… a special shot of Spanish liqueur served in an ice cream cone! Such a great evening!

Excellent introduction to Flamenco

Rosita knew so much about Flamenco. Her Infos were a great information before a great Flamenco presentation. The food and the drinks were also excellent but the Flamenco was the focus and it was done very well

Flamenco is amazing. Who knew?

I made a reservation for this tour because I knew we would have a free evening and wanted to do something different. We had no idea exactly what flamenco was and how it was performed. The tour before the show was so much fun. Our guide Flo was so enthusiastic about the city and it’s food and traditions she really made the evening an event. But the show itself was simply amazing. Great seats, more food food and drinks and an actual understanding of what we were watching thanks to Flo. I can’t recommend this tour enough
