Good and bad

The tour itself was very good .. we passed by lots of places and got a good feel of the city. Our guide struggled with English, and once he knew I spoke Spanish ..I did most of the translating .. we joked that I should have been paid the tip. He was very polite and professional. The vintage car … very uncomfortable.. there were 4 adults and honestly should never be booked for that many unless they are very small. I would recommend no more than 3 adults or 2 adults with small kids. It made for a long 2 hours

Fun Way to Get a Quick Overview

The tour is quick and there isn’t a lot of depth to the information provided for individual locations, but it allows you to get a good feel for the layout of the city. As a bonus, a LOT of people will be reaching for their phones and/or pointing. Feel free to pretend it’s you - instead of the vehicle - they’re so thrilled to see. :-)

The most memorable is driver Victor and his car.Wonderful experience in Madrid with him.Victor knows everything about Madrid and told as everything in colourful way.Just want we expected.Al the people on streets were turned around our car. Thank you Viator for this possibility

Sadly disappointed

I’m sorry to say this because I am honestly not a complainer. However, this was really not a great experience. I’m sure the driver will agree. We hardly saw any of Madrid, stuck in backstreets for a a very long time, literally just crawling along between buildings. We saw nothing of the city we were expecting. Also, the comentary was just repeating the same message over and over. The driver told us at the start that he didn’t speak English so we sat in silence all that time. After an hour, when we finally got moving ( it was a 2 hour tour ) we chose to just stop & go back to the hotel. Hugely disappointing and expensive mistake.

More a taxi than a tour

Our driver was very friendly and arrived on time, however it was more a taxi ride than a Tour. He just showed us where bars and restaurants were, we did not get a single explanation of the town and history overall.

Comfortable Ride in Madrid

The guide was very thoughtful, courteous, and made sure we had a good time. The automobile was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The pick up and drop off was without flaw.

Missed and lost reservation asked to chase up refund as they could not help

Absolutely shambolic. waiting at 1520 for a 1500 trip called and they had no idea !!! The company lost our reservation.I called at 3 pm and she explained they had not seen a revsevation or the piece of paper had been lost . Then a lovely young lady tried to help. She said she was new and really did try to help (Rosanna) She did after a lot of pleading try to get a later appointment that day ,it was 3 hour later , which was kind of them . We could not go as we already had plan However they Originally the cheek l to ask me to chase up Trip advisor to get the refund sorted . They cannot refund our money. As there were no managers in the shop. I’m really disappointed . I’m normally quite positive on TripAdvisor because these tripa are difficult to book and I understand it can be tricky.

This trip was fantastic....

This trip was fantastic. The car was beautiful, comfortable and clean. The trip was nearly two hours and we saw Madrid old and new. The commentary by our driver was perfect. This was a great start to our trip in Madrid. Throughly recommend l.

Disappointing

We were very disappointed as the tour operator didn’t show for the tour. We were looking forward to this tour. . We did get a full refund.

Antique ride through Madrid

While in Madrid my wife and I wanted to see Madrid under our own terms with out huge crowd and this is the perfect way to do it. There is a tape that runs while you riding along pointing out the sites and the driver stopped for you to take pictures. They pick you up from your hotel and returns you back to your hotel.

Antique ride in historic and modern Madrid

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour as the driver took us throughout historic and modern Madrid. The announcer was in English and they show us a number of monuments. They take you around in a Jeep chassis with an antique body. Most people thought we were of royalty decent. The tour was excellent.

A must do in Madrid!

I absolutely loved Vintage city tours! My friend booked it for me as it was my first time in Madrid and it was the perfect way to explore the city and find out so much about it. The tour was a great combination of historical facts and modern and pop culture additions so it definitely has something for everyone to enjoy. The car was beautiful, clean and fresh (and I felt great through the whole trip even though I'm prone to car sickness). The driver was super friendly too and even gave additional facts based on the specific interests we showed throughout the tour. We even got to stop and take pictures in the car next to landmarks and famous buildings too! It was a fantastic experience I'd recommend to anyone visiting Madrid, whether it's your first time or not you'll discover great new things about the city.

Great way to see the city

We booked this simply because the car's looked cool. Turned out to be an excellent way to see Madrid. The driver was very nice, spoke great english, and was more than helpful to even guide us to additional things after the tour was over. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour.

Glamourous, stylish and very comfortable private tour of Madrid in an air conditioned vintage automobile!! So Fun!

This was a very elegant, stylish, comfortable and relaxing way to see as much of the city of Madrid as possible in under two hours. It was a private tour in an air conditioned old-style English car with water provided for our comfort. The driver was friendly, considerate and super sexy. Most of the tour was on audio tape with the driver pointing out the different locations.His English was good enough for us to be able to communicate and his driving skills were excellent. We stopped at a couple of locations, which was quite nice, but at times it was a bit hard to see some of the sites through the windows of the vehicle that said we had planned to go back to some of the more unique locations and spend more time there anyway. If you want to feel like royalty then this is the tour to take. Comfort and class all the way.

A great way to see the city

We had a wonderful tour of Madrid. We left from our hotel at 9 pm and enjoyed some daylight sunset and then a evening. Seeing the city at night is recommended as it is quite beautiful to see. Much better than the bus

Laughed, Learned, Smiled!!

We enjoyed our tour with Pablo as our driver in the blue vintage car. We learned so much about Madrid in the little time we had with him! Don’t forget how much he made us laugh! And he was so nice about all of the stops we could make for pictures and taking our time enjoying the cites! And we didn’t have to worry about our teenage daughter because she found the tour exciting and beautiful too! Definitely recommend Vintage Tours for anyone looking to learn and have a good time with a family of any age!

The fanciest way to see Madrid

If you want to feel a real VIP dying sightseeing try this tour. The driver Pablo brought us all over the center by retro car made in vintage style of the 30’s. It’s not very expensive - 24€/person if you are four. You will receive a unique experience and will get a lot of attention. So be ready to salute all the curious ones

Our tour took two hours and we were taken to all the important sights in Madrid in an amazing vintage car which attracted more attention than the sights themselves. Our driver spoke good English and was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. We would definitely recommend this tour.

Fizemos este passeio no dia que chegamos e foi excelente para quatro pessoas. Estávamos cansados da viagem e este passeio é muito confortável, perfeito para o primeiro dia, pois já dá uma noção muito boa dos principais pontos que voce poderá programar para visitar durante sua estada em Madrid.
