The Segway tour was the highlight of our trip, Juan was an excellent guide and was really good at explaining how to use the Segway safely and so we got the best out of our experience. He was really good at explaining about the different points of interest we visited and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute. We would totally recommend this as a fun and exciting way to see lots of Madrid. We will definitely come back again xx

Segway fun!!

Juan was an excellent tour guide. Segway was a great way to see many sights, especially with teen boys.

A nice orientation but not very informative.

The tour was fun but we were told it was more of an orientation and riding the Segway- not historical tour - so it was not as expected. It was a good orientation and the guide was very nice.

Great value & friendly guides

We were able to book a segway tour for two with Jacob (after doing the Retiro park tour the day before). He was clearly very knowledgeable about the tour stops and able to answer our questions about what we saw along the way. Would definitely be willing to book a third tour with him when we come back to Madrid :) Also shoutout to Jackson who was helping behind the desk and stored our luggage while we went on our morning tour!

Fun but not long

Staff was great and we enjoyed the experience. It is a TASTE of Madrid - short enough for younger kids as well.

After more than a dozen segway tours in many different cities, this was one of the best ever! It's the perfect amount of time to see most of the major sights in Madrid and it's always so much fun to be on a segway! Our guide, Paloma, was a blast! She was friendly, funny, engaging and a wealth of information. We can't say enough good things about her - she was the main reason we had such a great experience. We would highly recommend Wonder Tours.

Great way to get overview before further exploration on foot.

It was great to ride a Segway again and Mario was a pleasant and well informed guide. Not many sites were visited but with the time available and the low cost of this tour, it was good value for money.

Fun family experience

My family did a Segway tour with Paloma and Florien and had a great time! Unfortunately there was a marathon taking place on the day of our tour so Paloma had to change our route a bit, but we still had fun. Paloma was so friendly and had such a great personality! We enjoyed hearing about the history of Madrid and appreciated getting to stop and get off our segways to explore different areas. We had never had that before on a Segway tour. Paloma and Florien were so nice and took great care of us. Highly recommend this tour as an easy, fun way to see Madrid!

Fantastic tour with tons of fun

Family of 4 had a fantastic time during the Segway Madrid Tour offered by Wonder Tours. Our guide Paloma was super friendly, energetic and after giving us an intro to Segways, she gave us tons of interesting info about the Opera House, Palace, Temple of Debod, Plaza de Mayor and the San Miguel Market! She was also super generous with other recommendations of neighbourhoods and areas to visit on our own as well. Would definitely recommend this tour and Paloma if you're looking for a quick overview of the main highlights of the city while having fun on Segways.

Family Fun

Fist day in Madrid - Noon on Christmas Eve - while raining... and it was amazing. Hats off to Javier - he is one classy guy, Great instruction (my first time on a Segway) and interesting facts & information about Madrid. Fun for a family outing!

Best segway tour

Thanks to Javier we had a great time with the segway tour. It was our first time and it was sooo much! Also the tour / sightseeing of the different places in Madrid was beautiful! We would recommend the tour!

Excellent tour

Great entertaining tour, regardless of your Segway experience. It was first time for me and training was easy and fun. Our guide was fluent both in Spanish and Russian, which was very helpful for mixed group of Russians and Peruvians :) Riding was very safe and at convinient pace. Highly recommended activity!

Great way to see the sights!

While you kind of feel like a weirdo (hairnet, helmet and bright vest), touring the city on a Segway was so fun and efficient! I was able to see a lot of sights and cover a lot of ground really quickly. Efrem was my guide and he was great! His knowledge of Madrid's history and the significance of all of the sights was fantastic. He was very personable and made this tour a highlight of my trip to Madrid. I learned and saw a lot and had time to take photos and explore some of the major sights on my own while Efrem waited. Learning to use the Segway was nerve racking at first, but I caught on quickly. Efrem was very conscientious of pedestrians, cyclists and motorists, and made me feel safe, which I really appreciated.

Hour tour was really 45 min. Saw 3 things and came back. The guide was ok..nothing exciting. Riding the segways was fun but I am sure there are better tours.

Segway tour of Madrid

This tour was the first Segway tour for my teenage daughters. Our guide (Javier) gave us a training on how to operate and ride the Segway. His instructions were precise, he was quite encouraging. Following the training, we had a few minutes of riding the Segway to get a feel of it. The tour included visits to the Royal Palace, Cathedral de Santa Maria, Sabatini Gardens, Puerta Del Sol. Javier was an excellent guide, he gave us details of all these historic places and was vigilant so that none of us were involved in any untoward incident while passing through the busy streets of Madrid. Overall the tour was good, the only issue was the tour included lot of riding on the Segway and not too many touristic locations, but riding the Segway itself was an enjoyable experience.

Our guide was Borja and he was so sociable and nice and friendly and had a good knowledge about the city and its history Very nice experience I really recommend it

Fun tour

My family of 6 did a group tour. There were 16 people in our group, but the city does not allow a group to be more than 9 people (8 + a guide) so we split into 2 groups that reconnected at various stops. The segways were a nice way to see some of the sights in the city center, and my nine year old son was excited that he was determined to be large enough to ride a segway (something not permitted for 9 year old many other European countries). One of the two guides, Yanny, was high energy and funny. The other (Russian name but I won't be more specific) was quite uptight. Overall it was a fun way to spend an hour.

Fun way to go around Madrid

This is a great way to see some of the more famous sites of madrid. Though you do have to learn how to use the segway... it isn't rocket science. Using it is very intuitive. My 10 yr old and 14 yr old had no problem learning it. Our tour guide Carlos was very patient with us. It was around 4 to 6 degrees celcius and it was a good thing we dresses warmly. Overall, I would not mind doing this again.

Efrem from Segway Trip Madrid was our host for the 1h30m trip. He was right on time and took us through a training and safety exercise before starting the tour. Efrem provided an enjoyable and informative tour. Would definitely recommend using Segway Trip Madrid. Efrem will take photos for you along the way, so take your phone or camera.

Great way to get your bearings

Like any Segway tour, this was a great way to see the layout of old Madrid, and was great fun. More time spent on busy pavements than on other Segway tours that we’ve done, but still saw plenty in the time and enjoyed it. Spoilt a bit by having to wait a long time for latecomers to catch up, but guide was fun& spoke excellent English.

Best way to get around

We truly enjoyed our guide Diego. He was very attentive, and made sure everyone was safe. We lived seeing the amazing gardens and streets in areas we didn’t expect to get to. We’d definitely recommend this company and activity!

We did the Segway tour today with guide Diego who was very knowledgeable and took us around places you can't get to on a bus. He told us a lot of history and funny stories. I would not hesitate in booking the tour again and would recommend it for anyone, as it's an excellent way to get about in this lovely city. Thanks Diego 😀

Unique and Enjoyable way to see Madrid

We had our trip on Sunday morning and it was a very nice trip around the Palace and various places. Our guide, Efrem, was fantastic. He shared funny histories of different spots. And he also led us to places where the kids could try the speed of the segway. We enjoyed the trip so much. Highly recommend for a family tour in Madrid.

Spur of the moment segway tour with Alvano

We did a spontaneous segway tour our second day in Madrid and I'm so glad we did! None of our group had ever ridden a segway before, so it was a little scary at first but we picked it up quickly. Our guide, Alvano, was fantastic. He showed us around Retiro park, a place we most likely would have not known about before the tour, and gave us time to hop off the segways and explore the various mini-parks within the park as well as took loads of great pictures for us. Like I said, I've never done a segway tour before, but I had so much fun on this one I'll look to do them on vacations in the future.

Like the title states this defiantly beats walking around, Alvaro is extremely knowledgeable and helped us get around through this tour. Even if you’re new to a Segway they will Help you get on and show you how to use the machine before your start

Good fun!

My step-daughter and I went on the 1.5 hour segway tour round Retiro Park. Neither of us had been on a segway before but we soon got the hang of it and by the end of the journey we could even stop and turn round when we wanted to. We were even confident enough for the return journey among the traffic. Our guide, Carlos, was good fun and kept us entertained all the way round with his patter. We both thought it was the highlight of the holiday even though Carlos fell in love with my teddy bear mascot and didn't want to hand him back!

Great guide for a great tour!

Even though the weather was not too great we really enjoyed our tour with Alvaro. He was a great guide and shared some really insightful and lesser known facts about some sights of Madrid! Bonus he takes great photos too!!

Fun and informative Tour

We book an early in the morning tour for 10:00 am. it really was the best time to see the city. Both pedestrian and vehicular traffic were at a minimum. Our tour guide was Vasilio (sorry about the spelling). He was knowledgeable, attentive, and very interesting. We had tons of fun and a fantastic way to see historic Madrid. We recommend this Segway tour to everyone.

I Love Segways!

This is just a fantastic way to see a lot of the city without walking for miles, you whizz past people from one interesting site to the next with a great guide - in our case it was Vasiliy! He was very kind and warm, knew a lot about the history of Madrid and spoke good English. This is good value for money as you get 1hr 30 - 2hrs on the Segway. I thoroughly recommend this tour as a great way to see the city!

Amazing Tour

We had a fun and an excellent tour. Our tour guide Diego, was fluent with English, humorous, and easy to understand. He taught us how to ride the Segway in 1 minute flat. Diego explained to us all the history behind the monuments, palaces, churches and cathedrals. The staff was very cooperative and helped to make this experience a memorable one

A great way to explore the old town without walking!

A excellent tour with Carlos who was great fun and full of information about the various sights. Most of old Madrid is pedestrianised and not accessible to the city bus tour so travelling by Segway is a great way to see all the important sights. We got a lot of envious looks from people on walking tours as we swept past them all. We would thoroughly reccommend the tour to beginners and experienced riders.

Interesting and fun tour of the city

Did city tour with Vasiliy. He was very helpful and looked after me as I was a bit nervous initially being new to a Segway . We saw many of the main sights and Vasiliy was both knowledgeable and interesting. Booking office had also been helpful as I had a problem with the on line booking but they called me in the UK to resolve.

Super visite de Madrid en segway!

Nous avons fait une super découverte de Madrid en segway grâce à Laura! La balade n'a durée qu'une heure mais Laura a su nous transmettre sa passion pour l'histoire et en particulier pour celle de Madrid et le tout dans un très bon français! Un grand merci :) Nous recommandons!

Fuimos con dos niños de 13 y 16 años y lo pasamos genial. Efrem nos enseñó cómo usar el segway, estuvo muy pendiente de nosotros y nos llevó por una ruta muy bonita. Fue una experiencia muy buena.
