A highlight of my 2 day visit to Madrid

If modern art is an interest be sure to get to Reina Sofía. The permanent collection is very comprehensive including some of the more well known Picasso and Dalí works but the equally memorable displays were the very extensive temporary exhibitions of work done by Wojnarowicz (USA) and Mariam Chan (Switzerland). Challenging work but these displays which were included with the entrance fee were worth the fee on their own. A spectacular museum.

Tutto perfetto. Meeting, visita, e, soprattutto, la nostra guida Esther, che con la sua competenza e la sua passione di storica dell’arte è riuscita a farci vivere una esperienza unica. Da molti anni non mi emozionavo davanti ad un’opera d’arte ma, grazie ad Esther, la Guernica di Picasso mi ha fatto piangere. Meraviglioso.
