I enjoyed visiting the Toledo Cathedral. The tour guide did a great job not going too fast or too slow.

Toledo Walking Tour

We enjoyed walking around Toledo. The scale is from the Middle Ages. The synagogue and cathedral were really beautiful.

Awesome Toledo Tour

Amazing tour of Toledo. Very well planned in order to avoid crowds in well known tourist sites. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and very thorough. The amount of coverage was more than plenty but not a lot was left out. Would strongly recommend.

Toledo with IBE tours — highly recommend.

My family and I had a wonderful time. Lydia was very professional and informative with a wealth of information. She timed everything well so that we also had enough time to shop a bit, get a bite to eat. I would recommend IBE tours. Lydia spoke fluently in English and Spanish. I commend Pablo the bus driver. Viator Worst tour . Do it on your own. You will do better

What a disaster. Charged heavily with 7 monumental exposure. The tour did only 3 of it and expected the tourist to do the remaining. Wasted 1 hour doing nothing when we reached Toledo. Did go to the Cathedral and spend 30 minutes on it . Don't use viator ever. The 3 of it which was done was at a rapid pace

A Rewarding Day in Toledo

We enjoyed our tour of Toledo and the monuments. Our guide, Lydia, did a nice job with clear information at each of the stops. We had plenty of time to stop for lunch, explore a bit on our own, and do some shopping. Toledo is a hilly town, with many narrow and steep streets, which in our view added to the charm. A full and rewarding day!

Great time!

I had an amazing time learning from Herman about the different sights of the city! We also had a god amount of free time at the end to explore the sights the tour didn’t cover. Toledo is a beautiful city with so much interesting history. Would recommend!

Great visit to Toledo

Toledo is a beautiful city to visit, and everyone who visits Madrid should take this trip. Bus was comfortable and puntual. Our guide was very knowledgeable, with great insight of the history and the culture of Toledo. My only recommendation is the length of the stay could have been 1 to 2 hours shorter.

Toledo: Worth the time!

Great city to visit, lots to see. Would have preferred and English only tour, because bilingual took twice as long. Our guide, Para, did a great job! Would recommend this trip for sure!

Full day trip to Toledo

The tour was excellent. The tour guide, Pilar, was very pleasant, knowledgeable and informative. We selected the full package of the tour with the cathedral and I am glad we did. My family and I really enjoyed it.

Ok but could’ve been great

I liked the tour my one complaint would be the first hour of the tour once we got to Toledo. For 1.5 hours we pretty much went to outside all of the monuments, were told about them then met up with Ricardo and did the entire thing with him again (went inside the monuments this time) but for another 2 hours…..it was a lot and felt really repetitive. They should’ve just done it all in one tour rather than do that so we could’ve had more free time to look around.

Beautiful town

Beautiful place. I especially like the fact that a river acts like a natural moat around the town. The bus drove along the river to give us the best view. Couldn’t do better than that.

Highly recommended

Everything was just perfect. The guide was wonderful. Better to do one city than running around 3 of them.

Nice day

Beautiful city , comfortable bus and good driver But the group are too big , and better to divided in 2 smaller groups English and Spanish languages separately, a lot of time waiting to double text

Not well organized

It was a good tour of Toledo but too many people in the group (40). In addition, half of the group was in Spanish. I understand we had to go together by bus, but in Toledo we could have had a guide in English for the 25 English speaking people, and another guide for the 15 Spanish speaking. Unfortunately, they speaker machine the guide was using was broken and she end up speaking louder. I believe, when you have a group bigger than 15 people, is more appropriate to have headset for walking tours.

Great day in Toledo

Our guide Lydia was very knowledgeable, polite and enthusiastic. It was a short one hour bus ride from Madrid. The bus was clean and comfortable. The tour was well organized and informative. Toledo is a beautiful city and we enjoyed this tour.

Great Experience with Rush

We had a great time and Benny was fantastic. We liked the city vibes and the tour gave us the flexibility to see the monuments with the guide and explore the city on our own before heading back to Madrid

Amanda was a terrific guide and I am so happy I bought the whole pass to the monuments. It’s worth the extra funds you spend. Amanda is very smart and shared great stories

The historic tour!

The whole tour was full of interesting information. sights and history. it is recommended to do it and enjoy the full visit of the monuments.

A really great tour and guide.

We really enjoyed our day. Toledo is stunning and not to be missed and the time frame for this tour was just right. We liked the balance between the guided tour and some free time and felt the extra cost for this was well worth it. Our guide Benny was superb! We were warmly welcomed right from the start and he gave very clear instructions so that our day went smoothly. It was very apparent that he is well informed about Toledo’s history but didn’t overwhelm us with too much information and he included some light heartedness making him very easy to listen to. He obviously loves what he does and we were the beneficiaries of his enthusiasm. We highly recommend taking a day to visit Toledo, this tour and our guide Benny.

Could be better

Guide was not welcoming at all , very rude to the customers. She was always in a hurry . The instructions of the meeting point were not accurate . Toledo was beautiful but the overall experience wasn’t.

Great Toledo tour

It was a little hard to find our guide at the meeting point. That’s the only thing negative about the tour. Her name was hard to pronounce but she was very nice and informative. Her English was good and we could understand her. We enjoyed Toledo and the monuments very much. We also enjoyed having the free time in the afternoon. It was a perfect balance.

A nice visit to Toledo

The bus from Madrid to Toledo was a very nice coach with other tour aboard. At Toledo we separated into our small group and with Andrea toured the highlights of Toledo. We also broke into a very small group snd continued with Andrea to see the Cathedral and monastery and a few other monuments with the ability with our wrist tag to enter several more on our own. Andrea's enthusiasm and interesting facts made the tour excellent. She made sure we were all well taken care of and knew when and where to meet at the end after free time. The weather became rainy towards the end of our time in Toledo so we wouldn't have minded coming back an hour or so earlier but it was a really enjoyable day and of course no one can control the weather! We recommend this tour and especially Andrea.

Great way to see Toledo

This was a great way to see Toledo and the Cathedral- which is a must see in my opinion. It was nice that part of it was with the group and you still had some free time on your own to explore.

Hills for days!

This tour was amazing, but a warning for anyone if going up and down hills and different terrains sounds like more work than leisure you don’t want to go on this tour. I mean it’s very hilly so DONT GO ON THIS TOUR if this doesn’t sounds fun. I highly recommend getting the entire package (7 monuments + the cathedral). The tour guide will tour you through 4 monuments and the cathedral and you will be given about 3 hours (give or take) to explore the other 3 monuments on your own and have lunch. Highly recommend visiting all 3 monuments but for sure visiting the Iglesia de los Jesuitas (beautiful views of the city), however you will have to climb 136 steps to get to the top and the staircase is kind of narrow, but worth it. Also, the cristo de la luz has nice views of the city.

Lovely Toledo

Great time in Toledo with my fiends. Is a beautiful place, lot of things to do. Alex, our tour guide was exceptional. I would definitely go back to Toledo with Viator.

Great day trip!

Amanda did a great job showing us around the city, explain the historical significance of sites, and answering unscripted questions. We had a lovely time. I highly recommend this tour group. I would go with them again in the future.

Toledo day trip

This is a well worth trip. Toledo is a beautiful place. Not too crowded when we went. We have a dedicated guide, Adela, for the English speaking group of 8 persons. She is very knowledgeable and brought us to 3 of the 7 monuments. Even recommended us to a nice restaurant for lunch.

Not great

Our guide was not enthusiastic. The explanation was so brief in English while she explained so much in Spanish. Didn't even have a great photo.

A must see

Patricia did an awesome job. We got a great overview of Toledo and all of the sights. It was amazing that Patrica was able to guide both English and Spanish travelers - not an easy task but handled well.

Toledo is great

Lived Toledo especially the traces of Jewish and Moslem architecture and habitation. The Cathedral is astounding. The lack of public toilets in the city seems like a ploy to make you sit down in cafes and order somethibg in order to relieve yourself. Anyone with difficulties in tabt area should be forewarned.

Toledo is a must see!

Toledo is a MUST see. We paid for the full experience, with all monuments, which I highly recommend doing. Amanda was our guide, and she was SO knowledgeable about the town. We really enjoyed all the information she provided, and it was so fair and balanced. Every building that we visited had so many amazing influences and Amanda missed nothing. Highly recommend this tour, and make sure you spring for all the monuments as you don't want to miss a moment! Even with all the monuments we still had a really good amount of time to explore the city on our own.

Toledo

Amanda was a great tour guide. The Cathedral was particularly amazing. Toledo really is a city that should be visited on any trip to Spain.

Fun trip with visits to important historical highlights

Wonderful guide. Very knowledgeable and we got to see a lot of the sites. A lot of free time to visit favorites after the tour ended. We had a great time.

Toledo should not be missed.

We had a great time with Alex. He was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor he spoke English well enough that we had no trouble understanding him.

Short but great trip.

Did some new things: went to the Theater, saw Las Galerías de las Colecciones Reales, the Cathedral and some Tapa runs on Ponzano & Santa Engracia streets.

The Ancient Wonders of Toledo

Absolutely awesome sites and ancient history of Toledo. A fascinating and well preserved ancient city combined with the modern economic hub and attractions. Benny was a most informative guide and patient with his clients. Toledo is a maze of streets and you can easily get lost but find your way out. I thought the stay of 3 hours after the guided tour was too long a wait before departure. I had a a great time.

Wonderful city, good overall experience

Good experience overall, could have been better if there was a separate guides for English and Spanish rather than one person repeating everything in 2 languages

One of the highlights of our vacation to Spain

Andrea was an excellent guide with a great amount of knowledge to share all through the city. We would not have been able to fully appreciate the importance and history of this amazing place without her guidance. Taking the bus from Madrid made for a worry free experience and Ricardo was a great driver, not to mention the initial drive around the city providing excellent views before entering the city. It might be beneficial to pack some snacks or a breakfast for the ride there since not a lot of time was provided and it was difficult to find a spot to eat in under 30 minutes upon arrival since it was pretty crowded in the square you enter through.

My Full Toledo tour with...

My Full Toledo tour with 7 Monuments. Had a great time, but I think we were cheated.the program says we will be visiting 7 monuments. But the walking tour included only 4 monuments, after which we were asked to visit the rest on our own IF we wanted to. Also the guide was so discouraging and did not want me to join because I had a walking stick. She never helped, but the co- travelleres did when I was a little late at the turns. The guide spoke well. It could have been a better experience.

Great tour but not flexible customer service

All in all a great tour. We were very satisfied with the tour itinerary, the guides and the price. Toledo was stunning and we had a great time. Good value for money and friendly guide who speaks good English. The only downside was the customer support as we asked them if there is a possibility to postpone us for another day as we were running late for the tour due to heavy traffic. Even though the tour runs almost every day, they were not willing to offer another day if we don't make it on time which was strange as we already paid for the tour in advance. The lady on phone was not even trying to offer any solution so we luckily made it on time for the tour.

Awesome experiencd

We were so glad we got Benny — he’s fluent in both English and Spanish, and a great guide! He made sure we were engaged and were enjoying the tour. We’d definitely recommend spending a full day at Toledo, and getting a guide to get a full experience of the culturally rich city.

Very enlightening

Toledo was very interesting and the visit inside the Cathedral wonderful. A great day but the local guide could have done more regarding leaving the group in the main square to have some free time regarding rest rooms.

Let's Set Expectations First...

...so the tour itself was good and we had a very well-versed and experienced tour guide. However, when I selected and booked an English-speaking tour, that's what I expected to receive - not a bilingual English / Spanish tour that takes 2x as long because you have to explain everything twice. I do recommend that all tour guides slow down and continuously check behind them when walking to ensure that the whole group is still together. There was quite a walk from the bus drop-off point to the city center and along the way 3 of the 5 escalators weren't working. Instead of stopping periodically to ensure that the older participants were doing ok climbing those multiple sets of stairs, our tour guide just kept going full steam ahead. When asked to slow down for the benefit of the group, she seemed irritated as if it were too much to ask. So just be prepared to keep up.
