Worth every penny

We had a wonderful time with Oscar & Fernando!!! We were traveling as two families, and they did a great job making the trip kid-friendly and catering to our needs. Toledo is a must and I am so grateful they were able to make the trip enjoyable and stress free. ❤️

Toledo through the eyes of a local guide!

We were extremely pleased with our guide Enrique. From the time he greeted us at the town circle and took us for churro’s and coffee at the local eatery, his local charm was amazing. Enrique then took us around (we hired a driver) to see the great views overlooking Toledo. We then walked the Jewish quarter and his depth of knowledge kept our attention the entire five hours spent with him. I highly recommend Enrique as a local Toledo guide. Even after our time was up, he helped secure us another guide through one of his colleagues for Segovia after our initial tour was canceled.

A fantastic day trip from Madrid

This tour was definitely the top highlight of our Spain vacation! The entire process was very smooth, and the organizers kept us informed every step of the way. The cancellation policy is flexible (credit card doesn't get charged untl 24 h before, which is great peace of mind when traveling abroad) and we received details at each step of the process. Our driver David was prompt and polite, and our tour guide Enrique was engaging and personable, as well as a treasure trove of information about Toledo history and culture, we could have listened to him for hours. Due to the 5 hour time limit (which included the drive from Madrid and back), it wasn't possible to see all of the sights in Toledo, but we got an excellent overview which could serve as a basis for a future trip. Highly recommend this tour, and also that all travelers to Madrid make time in their schedules to fit it in!

Family day trip to Toledo for my family visiting from California

Outstanding tour of the city provided by Toledo resident Enrique. We saw aspects of the cathedral and synagogue buildings that we would never learned from a guide book. Enrique described all of the sites from the perspective of one who had lived in this unique and beautiful hill city for his whole life.

Luis was amazing his love and passion for Toledo was contagious. Really felt like a local. The recommended drive around the outside of Toledo gave us a great perspective.

Memorable Day!

We cannot imagine having a more qualified or personable guide than Enrique as he led us through his historic and well-preserved hometown of Toledo. He knew every nook and cranny and his passion for history and the significance of the first capital of Spain was enthralling. We will schedule the identical tour again on our next visit to Madrid. Our driver Francesco was punctual and helped us immensely in getting photos of this beautiful old city from outside its walls. The whole day was memorable!

Wonderful!

Everything in this tour was wonderful! From the immaculate and comfortable car with a very nice driver to the tour itself with Chavi as a guide. They made our daytrip to Toledo the highlight of our visit to Madrid.

We had first class service all the way... Amazing tour guide (). The driver pulled up in a new clean Mercedes and our personal guide was amazing and very friendly, and very knowegable.

Toledo one of Spain’s true gems

The private tour to Toledo was wonderful. Our driver Raul is so very nice and accommodated our needs the entire day. The Mercedes was quite comfortable. Luis our guide is very knowledgeable and informative about Toledo. You do not want to miss the beautiful cathedral. A true work of art and architecture that Luis knows well! It was worth the time spent. So much to see and such amazing history 4 hours is the tip of all this gem of a city has to offer. We finished our tour in the Jewish quarters and Luis helped us find the best place for fresh fish. It was such a lovely day.

Fantastic way to spend the day in Toledo

We had a fantastic time. It was our first time in Toledo. Our driver Fernando was polite, and on time. He made himself available at any time. A great driver. Anna was our tour guide. She was fabulous. Anna was knowledgeable, easy to converse with, and moved us around the city sharing all of the highlights. The tour was interesting, informative and fun. The 3 hours flew by, and then she guided us the perfect local restaurant for lunch, and then a bit of time to explore the city on our own. Such a wonderful way to spend the day in Toledo.

Highly recommend this tour! The drive was very comfortable and the driver was very professional. Ana was a great tour guide and told us so many interesting facts about Toledo. She personalized the tour to our interests and went above and beyond to book lunch reservations for us and point out the best places for souvenirs. Toledo is a must see destination and this tour is a wonderful way to do it!

Magnificent Toledo!

Angel was an excellent driver. His vehicle is quite comfortable and he is very punctual. Enrique was an excellent guide on our tour of Toledo. He is incredibly knowledgeable and flexible based on the interest of each group. He is also quite excellent guiding teenagers and keeping them engaged. We had ample time after to eat at a restaurant Enrique recommended and explore the town more before returning to Madrid. A magnificent day!

Terrific time in Toledo

This was the way to visit Toledo from Madrid. They picked us up in a very nice car, and we had a nice trip to Toledo. Our guide met us at the entrance of the city, and gave us an extremely thorough and thoughtful tour throughout the city. It was super interesting to learn how many cultures, and how old some of the stuff that they still retain there. We also went to multiple shops where they showed us how they made some of their, porcelain and metal works. We then had some free time to roam around do some shopping and eat at a super fancy restaurant which I highly recommend called la Cabala. At the end of the visit when we were ready to eat, just texted Driver and he picked us up where we were. He also offered to take us on some sightseeing tours of Madrid as we drove back into the city. Overall, I highly recommend it. Having the private tutoring guide made it a much nicer experience so you didn’t have to be in a large crowded group.

Terrific tour!

Our day tour from Madrid to Toledo was superb! We were picked up at our Airbnb by our driver, Alejandro, who is pleasant, and as professional as can be. We met our guide, Enrique, at the gate to Toledo, where he started our orientation and tour of the city. Enrique is a native of Toledo and is so passionate about the city that his enthusiasm was contagious. In addition to stopping at various picturesque lookouts, we went to El Transito Synagogue, which has an incredible history and architecture that we learned about. We also visited the cathedral and learned about its history. We then had three hours of free time to have lunch and walk around Toledo before Alejandro drove us back to Madrid. I highly recommend this tour and Enrique. There is so much to learn about the overlap of Christianity, Judaism, and Muslim religious practices and history in this part of the world, including their ability to coexist and live peacefully with each other.

Wonderful tour and guide

Enrique was a wonderful guide! His knowledge and enthusiasm for the history of Toledo was infectious. We all learned so much about this beautiful city and we would absolutely recommend the tour to anyone visiting in and around Madrid - a trip to Toledo is a must!

Great experience!

Alberto the driver and Enrique the tour guide were both awesome. Both were very friendly and Enrique in particular was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Spain and of Toledo. I'd highly recommend them if you're looking for a day trip out of the city to see a very historic and unique medieval city.

If you are trying to decide which tour of Toledo to book - book this one

This has to be one of the best tours I’ve ever been on. We had a 7 year old with us and Chavi had her (and us) mesmerised for the whole 3 hours. He showed and explained things to us we never would have seen in any other tour. It’s not your usual tour…it’s better. Highly recommended and make sure you ask for Chavi specifically.

Absolutely the best tour in Toledo!

My family and I had a great time on this tour with Enrique. He was so kind, and contacted us beforehand to discuss the meeting point and time. From the second he arrived we were told amazing stories about Toledo. He spoke English wonderfully and it was so wonderful to also see how he knew all the locals! He catered to stopping for bathrooms and water breaks as needed and best of all the underground spots we got to see were so original and amazing compared to any other tour we have seen before. My teens had so much fun and were not bored which says a lot for one of my kids! We would 100% recommend this tour to anyone going to Toledo. You can’t beat this private tour there.

The Perfect Way to See Toledo - And You Definitely Want to See Toledo!

Our family and friends (6 of us, my partner and me, our two children (in their twenties) and their friends had a wonderful tour with Chavi. He was interesting, funny, had lots of information, and tailored the tour to what we wanted to do. We are not generally tour people but we all agreed this was the best way to see the fascinating and totally unique city of Toledo. I really appreciated how Enrique helped me plan the trip, including how to travel from Madrid. The communication was amazing.

Holy Toledo

The guided tour is a must if you want a personalized and extensive experience of Toledo. Enrique our guide whose family has lived in Toledo for generations was the perfect person to show us the sights. His knowledge of his hometown is beyond compare. With his guidance, we learned a lot about everything Toledo had to offer from it's history, it's historical sights, to the local shops and the many food places. We, my family and I will remember this trip with fond memories in the years to come. Book without reservation.

From start to finish it was a perfect day spent in a remarkable city. Our guide Luis was excellent. He grew up in the city and shared what it was like living inside the walls of a medieval city.

Fantastic private tour of Jewish Toledo

Enrique Galdeano is a superb tour guide, by far the best one we have had during our trip to Spain. He is a scholar and loves what he does for a living.

Fantastic guided visit

I couldn’t have had a better guide and going at my own pace was really nice. I learned so much from my guide about the history of Toledo and the iconography of the artwork. We saw some of the best views of the city and we had time to stop and do some shopping and have a nice lunch. A great day all around.

Facinating history

Anna was excellent. Very knowledgeably and friendly. A lifelong resident of Toledo, she comes from a family full of guides and had studied in the US. Her English was excellent. We learned a greant deal about Toledo and it's place in Spain's facinating history. We arrived by train and decided to walk to and from the meeting point, which was a mixed blessing. On the positve side we were treated to some fantastic views of the river and the hisorical features of this world heritage site, especially the Jewish quarter and the Moor's impacts. On the negative side, the walk was a somewhat grueling. Mostly unhill from the train station so we were somewhat tired by the time we arrived at the meeting point. Thankfully there were lots of rest stops, park benches and charming restaurants to stop for a nice coffee. Overall a grest day trip from Madrid. However if lots of walking is challenging for you. Take a cab to the top of the hill.

What a great day trip!

I booked a private day tour late at night for the next morning and Enrique at Toledo Forever took care of everything. It was last minute and everything was perfect. Yolanda was our guide and she was so knowledgeable about the city. We learned so much and appreciated her showing us her beautiful city. Toledo is amazing and do not skip it! Beautiful Toledo on the hillside

Our private trip from Madrid to Toledo was excellent. Our driver was a very good safe driver. Our private guide, Anna, in Toledo was extremely knowledge of her beautiful city from the Roman days to the present. We very much enjoyed seeing the city on the hillside from different angles and perspectives. Walking thru the old city with its cobblestone streets certainly was interesting and delightful. I recommend this side trip if you have or can make time to see more history.

We had the most wonderful tour experience in Toledo with the best tour guide Enrique. He was so passionate and knowledgeable about the area! It was the perfect amount of time. Full day in Toledo

Ride to Toledo was great, without any motion sickness by the driver - Marcelo. The walk and introduction at the place of interest by the english guide - Enrique, was easy to understand with valuable knowledge and history shared. He shared about the keynotes of the trip, and gave information to the places we visited. The lunch (Cochinillo Set) was so good! Overall the trip was reasonably timed and paced. One day in Toledo

We went with our friends to Toledo (our driver was Marcelo), and the tour was spectacular. I loved learning about the historical sites in Toledo, but my favorite part was going through the Cathedral. The city is incredibly rich in history, and I would recommend the full-day tour to anyone having an interest in Spain's Roman, Jewhish and Arab history. The food in Toledo is also fantastic!

Great Tour

Our trip to Toledo was an enjoyable and memorable experience. Booking the tour was quick and smooth. Juan was a great driver and storyteller. Even our kids totally enjoyed the trip. The tour guide in Toledo Enrique, advised the zipline for them in Toledo which they loved. Toledo was a delight with beautiful monuments like the Synagogue and the Cathedral. We were back in the hotel at 6:00 A great outing from Madrid!!

Awesome tour! We had a wonderful time!! Enrique was a great guide and we loved the city. The entire tour was perfectly organized, and the transport was phenomenal with Christian as the driver taking care of all the details. The cathedral is breathtaking! There was nobody and Enrique was so insightful! He was able to take us back to the history of Toledo. The synagogue was lovely as well. It was a great walking tour!!!

Communication with the company and our driver, Fernando, was great. Fernando looked for all the ways so that our Seniors in the group were comfortable and would not miss a second of the beauties of Toledo.
