We definitely saw parts of Lucerne we would have never seen on our own which made it enjoyable even in the rain

Old Charm and Fascinating history on a lovely Walk!

Great intro to Lucerne. We learned so much of the history mixed in with seeing all the highlights of the old city. It was a lovely walk and our guide, Isablella, knew so much about the area. She was delightful! I’d heartily recommend this walking tour!

Historic walking tour of Lucerne

Isabella gave us a beautiful historic tour of Lucerne. She spoke excellent English and was highly knowledgeable and respective to all our questions. It was a highlight of our visit to Lucerne.

We had the best guided tour on Saturday, September 30! It was two hours long and just packed full of wonderful tidbits and historical information as well as amusing anecdotes, and just a well thought out and timed walking tour! Our guide was knowledgeable, sincere, down to earth, and had wonderful presentation skills! This was actually one of our highlights in Lucerne! I recommend it for everyone!

Fascinating tour - all Lucerne highlights

Isabella was great. Really knew her stuff and explained a lot of the history behind Lucerne. She hit on all the highlights, from Chapel Bridge, to the Lion monument, to the centuries-old wall and towers around the city. Her tour was a great introduction to Lucerne!

Great tour of Lucerne

We had a wonderful walking tour with Valentina. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. We learned a lot about the history, architecture, food and culture of Lucerne. She gave us lots of tips on restaurants. We also got some chocolate as a treat. Highly recommend

A must for starting your Luzern visit!

We booked our tour last minute when we arrived in Luzern, and I’m so happy we did. Isabella was so knowledgeable and friendly, and she showed us so much in just two hours—the time flew by. So so glad we booked this tour!

Time was changed last minute, tour was excellent

We booked for a 9am tour. The night before this tour, we got a message saying the guide for the 9am had something come up, so we would now be touring at 11:10am instead. This completely changed our plans for the rest of the day, so it was pretty frustrating. I was glad I didn’t pay to book something in the afternoon or have to catch a train, etc. However, our tour guide Luis was great! We really enjoyed all of the history and culture we learned about from him, and the places he took us. He had a lot of recommendations for places to eat and drink around the city.

Wonderful tour of Lucerne!

We had a wonderful tour walking with Luis! He is such a nice guy and so insightful! We thoroughly recommend taking this tour. We are a family of four(ages 23-58). I loved when he showed us pictures on his iPad. It helped with the history presentation of Lucerne. Very pleased with tour of the old town! Thank you Luis!

Don’t book last minute, they no showed.

Booked in the morning. Took the train down to Zurich. Guide no showed. Texted them, they responded with “it was a last minute booking, we can’t make it”. Now have to figure out how to get a refund. Why let me book it, if it isn’t available.

Excellent walking tour

Really good tour- very detailed talks and researched background info and thought provoking too! The tour guide, Louis, was very friendly and responded to all our questions and needs. He was very thoughtful too. We want to go back to Lucerne to explore more of it in the future.

Wonderful walking tour of Lucerne, highly recommend

Wonderfu walking tour of Lucerne. Luiz hit on all of the top tourist attractions and added commentary on where to eat traditional foods and have local swiss beer and chocolate. I attended the tour by myself and felt totally safe while making new friends.

Walking the city and learning about it from a local. Our guide was informative and we enjoyed many special things we never would have discovered on our own.

We spent a great morning with Luis touring the beautiful sites of Lucerne. Would definitely recommend this tour at the beginning of your stay to learn about the city and decide where you would like to spend more time.

Perfect Tour of Beautiful Luzern

Everything Luis showed us about his beloved city of Luzern was beautiful. His sense of history was so helpful to understanding how Luzern came to be. We even saw farm animals! I would hope everyone would be so lucky to be in Luzern and have Luis as their guide!

Excellent tour with Luis

Luis, was a terrific guide. His love of Lucerne showed through throughout the tour. He was very detail oriented with relating the history of Lucerne and many of the city’s most prominent landmarks. There are so many objects that tourists walk by without any context - so we’re really happy we took this tour with Luis. Luis is cheery, knowledgeable, and very inquisitive. We’re really happy we took this tour and highly recommend it!

Best guided tour in Lucerne

Our guide Luis was extremely knowledgeable of the visited sites and what we were looking at on our way. Took us to non typical tourist stops which were great!!

Wonderful tour

Luis was a fantastic guide. He was very knowledgeable about the town and was able to answer all of our questions. We were able to see all of the main attractions in the city within the allotted 2.5 hour tour.
